I was born and raised in toon town, and your video was caulk full of pure nostalgia for me. When I was younger we used to walk everywhere we went and seeing how some sites have changed and how some seem to be timeless was awesome. I moved outta S'toon in 89 to start a family and while I do love living in a smaller community this gorgeous city will always hold a special place in my heart.

I visited Saskatoon for 5 days over 25 years ago, I’ve always wanted to go back. My favorite was the trails along the river and the bridges, which of course it is famous for. I really liked the railroad bridge you can walk over, where you started. I’ve never been to Regina but I think Saskatoon probably is the best city in Saskatchewan - there’s not much competition in that province!

In a parallel universe I would be living in Saskatoon. I applied visa for Queensland Australia and Saskatchewan Canada at the same time 8 years ago, and did quite a bit of research for both of them. I really enjoy any of your videos which includes your Dad...as an old guy myself maybe I can relate to him and his quiet friendly demeanour...and most of all I can appreciate you more for being a kind, loving daughter. Thanks for the tour of Saskatoon...I was a cadet in the Cameron Highlanders(from Winnipeg) who trained in Dundurn(at the age of 15) one summer many many years ago and we were in a parade and then I thought it was a welcoming city which is still continues to be today. The only difference between your Dad and I is that I love Rock and Roll music and I am many years older than he is!!!!

Originally grew up in the Wildwood neighborhood. Favourites in the city have always been the Meewasin Valley trail, Midtown Plaza, Broadway, the Forestry Farm, golfing - Holiday Park, the Willows, and Saskatoon West before the city gave it to the Saskatoon Golf and Country in exchange for latter's land to build south Circle Drive. Outside of the city, Beaver Creek and Pike Lake. A little trivia, the Land Titles building was one of the filming locations in the Disney TV movie "I Downloaded a Ghost".

Aliña McLeod… I just found your channel, and I have to say… you’re very, very good. I just finished watching an older vlog entitled: “What is life like in Ukraine?” I’m very impressed with your abilities. You’re either well prepared or you have a unique skillset for improvising. There are subtle things that you do so well. You focus on your surroundings instead of yourself, which is so refreshing. Even your editing, and sound are done well. I haven’t watched any of your other vlogs, but I intend to watch them all. By the way, it’s obvious that part of your story is Canada (I Love Canada, my son-in-law is from Nova Scotia). I detected the long vowels, which is a subtle giveaway that I like to hear. Alina, you’re a bright, and beautiful, young Woman. It’s obvious you’re so much more, which makes supporting you, as a patron, an easy choice. You might have spent your formative years in Canada, but there is no doubt, YOU ARE UKRAYINI. A her-storian, and Storyteller…you inspire me. I Love Ukraine 🇺🇦 Слава Україні 🇺🇦Слава Гетам, Синам і Дочкам України 🇺🇦🔱🫶Врятуйте Дітей, майбутнє України 🫶 Your Friend, Todd from California

Back in 2022 I was the Saskatoon Blades Mascot Pokecheck and basically the scheduling staff got shifted and changed around and I was basically ghosted by the staff now I work in a grocery store as a courtesy clerk, I help customers, I collect carts and baskets, clean and dust and I honestly love it don’t know why, but my true dream is to be a Pro Wrestler

The one time I was there was in late June for a high school softball tournament and it was green and beautiful and we were having fun until I got hit with salmonella poisoning. I remember how friendly the locals were, with not getting many visitors probably a huge reason for being so friendly. I'm still friends with my nurse from Royal University Hospital.

I live in Saskatoon, and have my whole life... and I will tell you the one thing it has going for it is the scenery... there wasn't alot shown in this video. Just ride spadina all the way down the riverside.. it's beautiful! Other than that, crime is progressively getting worse, homelessness is out of control, alot of the people here are very superficial and have that white collar attitude, and winter is extremely cold and DRY. The dry is worse than the cold. On the other hand, YES there is a tonne of things to do in summer, and the really cold winters do make a person appreciate summer more. It is also extremely expensive here, but I'm guessing that's everywhere in canada now so maybe it's irrelevant. I can't really speak for other cities, but I'm sure there are MUCH better places to live in Canada. All I know is, TRUDEAU NEEDS TO GO!

Saskatoon is my preferred stopping point in Saskatchewan on my trips between Manitoba and. Alberta. It used to have a vibrant live music club scene that was better in my opinion than larger Western Canadian centres. I believe this was cause it had that University town vibe. Sadly live music clubs just aren't that much of a thing anywhere. On the rare occasions that I spent week in toon town I liked it's vibe, and had some great meals there. I'm not as familiar with restaurants as you and your dad are, nor am I as adventurous a foodie as you, but some of those places I'd give a try if I had the right guide to suggest going to same. I like this perfect 24 Hrs in Saskatoon, but 24 Hrs with Alina, is probably perfect anywhere and everywhere.
