I am glad you went to the sierra nevada de Santa Marta. If you want to see Colombia's highest peaks "they are almost 6000 mts", that same road that takes you to Minca continúes until you reach Cerro Kennedy "about 3.500 mts, make sure you have clothings for the cold" . From there you can see The peaks. Santa Marta Is the only place in the caribbean that has both tropical beaches and glaciers

Personally I couldn't think of anything worse than going all that way, to this idyllic green rain forest in Colombia, to then be surrounded by gap year western Instagrammers, hipsters etc etc. But, I just found your channel, and I've been enjoying your videos! I like your relaxed presentation style and music choices too. Thumbs up.

You nailed another keeper, Alina! The music choices you made on this is the best. Thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of this experience with you, so thanks so much for taking us along. I am so proud of you in so many respects for keeping focused after going through probably one of the dangerous and scary part of your visit to South America as upsetting as it was for you. I hope you know that we are always going to support you and you proved it when you placed us one of the first to tell us when you were so upset. Alona and I cannot imagine now a time when you will not be honest with us, that is the Alina we have grown to love a lot and always look forward to what you have to say. This video shows more than just the beautiful area you enjoyed so much. Hats off to our great friend in more ways than you may know. Cheers to you Alina!!

What???, only people who are not documented think that... In fact countries like Brazil, Venezuela and Mexico (I'm just telling you the best known because of sure 0 knowledge) have higher homicide rate, and more dangerous cities, in fact the united states has 5 cities in the top 50 of the most dangerous, all in the first 25 postions. in fact it has one in the top 10. all above the 2 colombian cities that appear there, between the posts 40-50. please read!

Minca is a beautiful place. I went up the mountain on a mototaxi, fun but bumpy. It was also after a bit of rain, so it was a muddy ride as well. I only spent a few hours at one of the many hostels there, enjoying the bar, music, food and the view. I would imagine most if not all of the places on the mountain allow you to just drop in and hang out for a while. As you can see from the video, the views are insanely beautiful. It was an awesome experience. And by the way, if you don't stay overnight, try to get back before it gets dark. Coming down a mountain on a mototaxi in the dark is an "interesting" experience lol.

The healing and loving power of nature, certainly there - we all need that from time to time. Thank you for sharing, Alina! That coffee tour would be so interesting! Those were some huge roasters in your clips - just consider how much coffee the world drinks in a day, at home, at the workplace, all day!!! I’m with you; I prefer that dark roast with the deeper chocolatey notes, mellow not bitter (so I may sometimes add sugar and cream). Wish I was sometimes a travel buddy. Just have to absorb the experience best I can through your marvelous videos. Love and guardian angels! DJ
