Why didn't Aronian played Bxf3! when Alireza played Qb5? That's a chance to weaken the KS structure. Qxh3 afterwards is not possible because of Bxc7. Instead the bishop retreated to g6 (Bg6). Although, he might fear that Alireza will use the g-file to attack his king via Kh2 and Rg1. I still think this to better than the game continuation.

from 7:19 Aronian was feeling hopeless and from 8:17 he was not playing seriously! I think G2->G5 at 8:17 was not a perfect move. Before that on 8:11 Aronian could take the white Queen (exchange), which could prevent further advancement of the white pawn (soldier). I guess Aronian did lots of mistakes and miscalculations and probably he was not enough ready that day.
