Alireza will win the next candidates. He came to the last one very stubborn to force his style of play trying to create imbalances but in reality he was giving very strong opponents an advantage. I think it was a great learning experience for the young man and his will crush the next candidates.

Thank you for your recap. I enjoyed them the first time and again in your Marathon. I also liked your theoretical understanding and articulation of them. What became clear to me is that you also have a good sense of reading the market, planning, and presentions for your audiences. I'm glad to see that. It must be nice making money from doing something that you are passionate about. :) I think it would be a good match between you and Alireza ... not in chess but in the business of chess. Alireza's brother is very smart and has a supportive/loving family/friends but when it comes to business ... smarts and support/love is not good enough. It's like teaching someone that's highly intelligent and smart the chess moves and sending him/her to a master-level chess tournament.
