Everyone taking Real Analysis needs to watch these videos. If I knew about you during the school year, my semester would have been significantly smoother. You are heaven sent! Thank you for uploading these videos. I especially love the classroom recordings and wish every single one of your lectures were available online.

I attended a lecture and did not quite understand what infimum and supremum were used for, even when I looked it on Wikipedia because my English is not that great yet. This video was just what I needed. Thank you for uploading this sir, it saved me a lot of time of struggling to understand their function

I posted a question about 20 minutes ago, then deleted it because I realised the bracket symbols ( ) and [ ] make all the difference! ( ) indicate greater than or less than, and [ ] indicate greater than or equal to, or less than or equal to. KZbin just notified me that the original poster answered my question, but I'd already deleted my comment without seeing the reply. Thanks in any case, this video was very helpful!

I think I had the same question but after reading your comment, I've noticed the different brackets.

For Abstract ALgebra and Analysis, I prefer Mr. Salomone's tutorials. It's easy to understand.

you said the last one's infimum could be 0, but then even if it was 0, it could then be 1 right?

You guys are lucky you're not studying in Indian institutes like IIT. These topics are taught in 11 or 12 standard with details. Furthermore, we have to pass one of the toughest exam in the world IITJEE to get into iit and rub our asses of like animals and still have to work hard for a decent paying jobs. Thats the bitter truth about Indian education system.
