omg Alison, my friend and I went to Pantelleria last year and I saw a caper flower blooming, and that was special!

This may be a silly question, but did you check if the cat is microchiped? You can also call the cat network and ask them to help you with expenses, or take him to the pound to get fixed and vaccinated.

I worked with a guy who over and over pronounced "concierge" as "con-see-air". I didn't have the heart (balls) to correct him.

You count by months until 2 years old, because a 14 month old baby is developmentally much different than a 20 month old. Once 24 months, your kid is just 2, 3, 4..

1. If you are letting a stray cat come into your house have him treated for fleas. Once your house gets infested it's an all out war on those pests. They will be everywhere. 2. There are animal rescue organizations that will fix the cat as well as give it rabies shots and if you want they will inject a chip to identify the cat. They probably will clip the ear to identify him as being fixed. I apologize to my cat regularly for letting them do that. If you don't mind spending the money then take him to a vet.

Great advice to Steven! You need to experiment and learn what works best! That’s how you learn to cook, by doing. That’s how I sized up his issue from the start. You have to learn by doing. It’s the only way. It’s very intuitive to me, too, like you say Alison. I guess some people have a knack for it, an instinct.

Re. Mispronouncing words: You mean, like my Thanksgiving guest who raved about the “Boo-jolais Nouveau”? I then tried pronouncing it correctly in sentences a couple of times, but she never picked up on the difference. How would you suggest correcting someone without offending them?
@jeanniebrooks11 ай бұрын
I would say, “oh, you say it differently than I do! I say it Bow- je-lais. “ Then they might look it up.

What would I do if a starving, neglected cat showed up at my door! Take care of it! What else would you do! It’s someone’s cat? If they don’t care for it, it is no longer their cat. He is homeless. No you are not impeding him from finding his way home. Those stories about them finding their way home are exaggerated, they are fairy tales. He was probably dumped. All you have to do is think of the cat’s well being- do what is right for the cat. He has no one but you. Simple!
