@manfredschmalbach9023 Жыл бұрын
That's what comedy originally was meant to be: offensive and embarrassing and "ungracious" on an extra-challenging, not-safe-for-everyday-life level (at least before these lame politically correct millenials started to tack up). Best evenings were those putting one half of the audience in a state of absolutely terrified "freezeing blood in their veins" while the other half was breaking out in hysterical laughter - and three minutes later the whole thing started over, just the other way round, laughter-patients instantly freezing up and clench their @ssholes as the formerly uptights, coming slowly back from wanting to sink into the ground, all of a sudden bursted out in that relieving hysterical laughter ..... When I see storytellers like him I start dreaming about motorcycling *_really fast_* or of going on a singlehanded sail to cross an ocean before he reaches his third "joke", let alone the mid-show break .... . The problem ain't saying hilarious sh*t, the problem is a triggered, controlfreaking buncha social media djihadists wanting to completely cancel everything halfway hilarious or funny immediately these days for all the wrong reasons.

Great show, original jokes and humor, good style. Still a little green but in a good way, cause he's not hit his peak yet... My ONLY gripe was the comment at the end "this country was built on their backs"(black slaves).... A part of it surely was and that absolutely SHOULD be remembered.... BUT it was MOSTLY built on the backs of white people, white "slaves" to be exact. Long before black slaves were brought over. It's an insignificant gripe and one that I hate even pointing out but it devalues the message he's trying to deliver. Other than that I agree that he's got a good comedy future ahead if that's what he wants.

Just want to say Mr. Rife, in my opinion i think you are one if the best,(if not one of,than the best) comics out there in todays world! I appreciate how you dont give a f*** and say what you want to say no matter the level of "offensivness" cuz "its only jokes folks"! Love comics that dont hold back regardless of how it makes another person "feel" cuz ya know,f*** your feelings! There needs to be more comics like you out there! Too many people today are worried about what others think and how your jokes make them feel cuz that shouldnt matter in the comedy world! Comedy is meant to make peoplr laugh and if it doesnt then its obviously not for them! Love your style man and please never stop being you cuz your f***** killin it man! Pretty good material. Delivered well. Not an easy sell doing ego comedy, the crowd can turn on you quick if it isn't funny enough or you don't sell it well. It's also fresh, most comedians do self deprecating because there's less chance of losing the crowd.
