I think he made it clear without saying the exact words but thru his actions and behaviors that if she didn’t give in to his advances, he would never allow her to make it in the industry. So her being a naive young woman, she finally gave in and thought she was choosing the lesser of 2 evils but she didn’t know how dark her life would become and by the time she realized it wasn’t worth it, Diddy had trapped her and would beat her half to death anytime she tried to leave him.
