I just love your videos! I always take something away Chrissy ❤ that moon phase calendar looks like a very cool project 🌚. We did a lot of flowers in our garden last year, we saw so many different and beautiful insects. We will expand this year w lots more and lots of milkweed for the 🦋. My little will also do a bird book by end of year. I will def tag you when it’s done 😊Thank you for the ideas!

This is great and all …but how do you have the money for all these study’s…?. How do people with very little money afford all this stuff to homeschool?

Don't be discouraged by comparison. Most homeschool families will tell you that home education is a priority above all other wants. It requires an adjustment to our lifestyle in order to sustain ourselves as a one-income family and pay for this type of education. Know that homeschooling can be done with a lot less. My husband and I agree that investing in a home library is valuable to us. Also, the materials and supplies that you see have all been accumulated over almost a decade. It's never been possible for us to purchase everything we needed or wanted at once. Before that, we utilized the library. Above all else, we answered God's call when we said yes to homeschooling. He equips and provides.

Thank you for the clarification! Sometimes I get a little overwhelmed with the amount of material some homeschooling families have but it makes sense that it would be accumulated overtime. We all have to start somewhere. You’re right..god will provide. I’m just starting a homeschooling curriculum for my 2 and 4 year old so it’s all very new to me.

Yes, absolutely! We do all of those things already. I was being too hard on myself. My 2 year old is now 3. 4 year old is almost 5 so I was mainly thinking of getting started with my 5 year old. His father thinks he’s behind..but I definitely disagree. Dads a medical student and one of his attendings got it in his head that our son should have started pre-k at 3 and was behind. The attending has never met my child by the way. I think his expectations are just a little unrealistic.

The library helps a ton. Especially if the unit studies are a week or two at a time. Our library lets you use books for two weeks at a time and even renew for an additional two weeks. You got this mama! If there is a will there is a way.
