★ WATCH ALL OF THE GLOW UP DIARIES: bit.ly/37O0bX6 ABOUT: This is a 6 year docu-series of my coming of age story. I originally thought I would end this series after a few months but ugly truths unraveled as I went further into my glow up journey. I began recording the glow up diaries at 17 years old and finished when I turned 22 years old.

Hey alivia, I know it's so unlikely that you will ever read this, but i just wanted to let you know how much you have helped me! I have so many unhealthy binging habits and I relate to you massively, i'm really excited for your next video so I can get more in tune with myself. It's so amazing for insecure teenagers especially to have someone amazing to look up to, and aid us on our own journey of finding ourself. I have been with you since the fierce livvy days when you were way down at 5k, i was so inflexible but your motivation and consise videos got me into splits with everyday stretching for about 6 months, you helped to remind me to push myself. I went from 90° to 180°. I was so happy when I saw the first glow up diary episode, you have inspired me to cook some meals and walk outside more, i also love how you have so many ways to be healthy without spending money on the gym or fancy food. I still have some proper issues with myself and my body, but i really really hope your videos help me even more than they have, although you have helped me admit I need help. You blew up after he first episode and I'm so happy for you, your feed on instagram inspires me everyday and I really hope you see this as I know how hard this can be on you, but I want you to know we all love you and want the best for you, don't be afraid to give yourself a break and out you first, you are amazing

A year ago, when I found your channel, I decided to lose weight and start a healthy lifestyle. Indeed, kilograms began to fall as I exercised more and reduced calories. It got to the point that I felt bad when I ate one APPLE because I felt it was too much and I could gain weight. My family and friends started to notice that I was losing weight all the time, but I couldn't stop. I weighed terribly low. I forced vomiting a few times, but luckily I got out of it. Now I weigh more than a year ago because when I finished starving, seizures began and I ate more and more. I just want to tell you to be careful. This year I will try to lose weight in a healthy way, but in fact I still have the back of my head to stop eating completely. Eating disorders are a nightmare and it is not as funny as some people think. Just treat yourself good, everybody. It is better to lose weight slower but permanently and not have to deal with mental illnes for your rest of life. It's really not worth it.

When I heard the “Its like you forgot how to eat normally’’ I relate to that so much, for my whole life it has been habit. One reason being that my older sister had a hard time with textures and such, but she only liked unhealthy foods. So me and my brother would catch onto that and we would ask my mom, ‘’Why are we forced to eat this, but she doesn’t have to eat it?’’ So then my mom decided to let me and my siblings all eat unhealthy. And now it’s all I know. My whole fridge and pantry is unhealthy. It’s so hard to try and be healthy to try and find good foods, when my mom has to go spend money on those foods that I want to try, even though I might not even like them. So for a couple years I have tried so many times to get healthy. As soon as I eat one thing unhealthy, or one thing gets difficult I give up. But today I’m going to change that, and I’m not going to let anything stop me. I swear to it. I need to be healthy for now and for my future. So I will put everything into this and keep going until I feel happy. UPDATE: I wish I could say that it's working and that I got better, but no I didn't. If anything I feel worse than before. I'm sorry for letting those down who were supporting me in the replies, I've just been going through a rough time lately and I realized I'm to young to be focusing on this because it was stressing me out. As well as I've lost any motivation to continue. I can't figure out why I'm feeling so sad and unmotivated, and my anxiety has been really bad lately, so I'm sorry, I hope you all continue on your journeys and have a wonderful day.

Update: It has been 5 weeks since I started. I’m actually doing really good! I have lost 8 pounds and been eating healthy. Sometimes I’ll have a couple unhealthy things but I always get back up and keep trying. Another great thing is that my siblings are starting to catch on to my healthy eating as well and have been eating a little bit better. My mom has also tried to get my whole family to eat healthier so now there’s less junk food and more healthy food. At first I was about to give up, I thought before I went on the scale, “Nothing has changed. Your still fat” but when I looked down, I saw progress. Sadly I am struggling to praise myself for losing weight and getting healthier. But I’m working on it 😁

I used to draw a lot when I was younger and didn’t really care about what other thought about it. I didn’t even think about showing it to anyone. At some point in high school I had a lot of friends that drew amazingly well and started to think I was terrible at drawing. I became ashamed about drawing and about anyone seeing what I draw. Creative work is like that. I stopped drawing for a long time and now that my major requires me being good at drawing I realise I should’ve never stopped. So I read something once it motivated me a lot to continue and it was “don’t do it to be the best, do it to be better” and I think that’s the approach everyone should take on anything. Bettering yourself slowly is the key to eventually becoming very good at doing something. Love your videos Alivia! You have motivated me through very hard times.

@Right Path that actually sounds like very little weight for your height. i'm about the same height and I weigh 49kg. you're growing up and your body starts changing, it wont always look child-like. that's normal, dont worry about it. :) exercise a little and eat healthy, but dont try to lose weight

I always look forward to these Glow Up videos. Your realness is inspiring. You don’t pretend like your success is linear and that you did everything right to get to where you are today on your health journey. People like me really appreciate and resonate with you showing your struggles and being vulnerable with us, even though sometimes our inclinations are to hide our less than desirable decisions. These videos are informative, well-edited, and fun to watch as well. Great work, Alivia.

you saved me alivia, i watched this when i still had an ed at the age of twelve and i didn’t understand, i thought i did but my brain just said “see, control yourself. Starve” but now i’m fifteen and I’m successfully recovering and you have helped and inspired me to a point where you and everything you said and taught me and yourself was the reason for me to realize i’m not healthy. Being healthy is not about weight loss and being skinny. Thank you for teaching me and showing me your story. You’re like a teacher to me, acctually, hero is more fitting. thank you for saving my life

Yeah, same. We have difficult situations in our live, but we can do it and achieve our goals. Even if we see this very difficult, just try and do. Let's do it together :)

I’m very proud of you, it’s very hard to have that healthy relationship with food. Sadly for me I did develop and eating disorder and even after years of therapy and support it’s still a part of my life well into adulthood. You are so positive about your journey and showing us how motivated you are and making your journey not about hate but about changing into more positive aspect is a very hard thing to do. We all fall down but we can get back up after!!! So proud of you!!
@testaccount58635 жыл бұрын
@Shirio :3 victoria is talking about an eating disorder which is much more complicated than just needing to meal prep and such. Even with those things you listed it can play into the eating disorder instead. What is important with this video is how you can have fast food without feeling bad and still lose weight/have a healthy lifestyle. I suggest you to look more into eating disorders ( such as orthrexia ) and realize that discipline isnt the total answer.

I have a rule that helped alot with portion control i just tell myself "if eat another bite or another plate I'm just gonna drink water after it and the taste will disappear so why eat more than i need"

when i first started watching you, it was because of your dance videos and i remembered thinking “wow she’s so put together and i wish i was her” i stopped watching for a bit and i came back to the glo up diaries and your process of losing weight and gaining back confidence. at first i was surprised how a girl that looked so put together could get to that point. and i realized that everyone has a point where they are not their best. i wish i could tell you i am doing great on my weight loss journey because i’m not and it’s comforting and encouraging to see someone else that has the same highs and lows as me. just wanted to say that i hope both of us get to the point of body confidence we want. keep up the good videos!

I can totally relate to avoiding finishing your art because you don't think it will be perfect. I actually recorded my first album at home in my bathroom, because I cant afford a recoding studio, and I got so frustrated because I couldnt make it sound like I envisioned it. Smae for my music videos. Its so hard to make it look like how u imagined it in your head. When I got my album out, even though its not that popular, I'm so proud of myself for doing it. I hope I can do more in the future, and I know Alivia you will help me stay on track! Thanks for inspiring me x

i sooo appreciate you for doing this! it’s such an unique way of telling us your story and we are learning so much from you!! seeing you going through this journey means for us that we don’t have to do the same. we can actually learn from your mistakes without having to make them too. thank you so much.

Today I came here to check if there were any news about glow up diaries the movie (which is totally fine there aren't because this is your personal life) and I'm literally shocked it says these videos were 3 years ago!! How is that possible? I remember I started watching when there were still videos coming out (I dn't recall if it was weekly but yeah), it just made me realize how fast time goes by. Anyway I really liked the videos as Alivia shows her struggles because we all do struggle and often people only show their highlights on social media. If you are struggling and by any chance you read this comment know that everything will be alright, life can be though sometimes but time helps, you learn how to deal with the pain. Wish you all the best, truly!

I think you clearly struggle with atypical bulimia - what that means is, that you binge and then try to burn it off by exercising and eating less the next day, nd although are a healthy weight, are completely obsessed with food and you body. I actually got really ill doing this and it made me so depressed and unhappy with my body - I love it that you are sharing about confronting this. Stay beautiful X

Watching you struggling more with another side of eating/food issues is really helping me in ways I didn't expect. You're so strong. You've gone through some over eating, food/sugar addiction, and I've gotten addicted to the control of restriction. Putting our experiences together is helping me with the way I'm think about food

I love these videos because they are so realistic, all the other youtubers just show them being healthy all the time and don’t show their downfalls which makes me just feel like I’m worthless and everybody else can just do it and I’m the problem, but now I’ve got so much more knowledge because of you, thank you

i know not many people are going to see this, but Alivia you've helped me so much. Recently I got into the habit of binging, I've been feeling low on my luck so I've been rewatching your series. I made a plan with a few friend to glow up, mentally and physically. I have a checklist and several routines I'll be starting with them on Monday. This is my formal thank you to, well, you! Without you I'd feel a lot worse about myself and probably be a lot worse off. You've been an inspiration and a huge role model in my life. Thanks for everything you do

07:17 - 07:27 That entire sentence got me. I thought the same thing, "it's only 280 calories." But when you followed that comment with the fact that it isn't just about losing weight, but changing your habits.. wow. That entire pint could be 0 calories, and it still isn't healthy if you feel the need to eat the whole thing.
