★ WATCH ALL OF THE GLOW UP DIARIES: bit.ly/37O0bX6 ABOUT: This is a 6 year docu-series of my coming of age story. I originally thought I would end this series after a few months but ugly truths unraveled as I went further into my glow up journey. I began recording the glow up diaries at 17 years old and finished when I turned 22 years old.

Souma Maity a mix of working out and eating healthy. that's the trick. to lose weight you need to be in a caloric deficit, but i would not recommend that for a long period of time bc you're body 1) adjusts to your low calorie intake & your metabolism slows down and 2) when you start eating more again you'll gain all the weight back again. it's really important to build and maintain muscle mass since having more muslce means you can eat more which is obvi great and you'll look and feel amazing. i'd recommend hasfit, they make awesome workout videos for losing fat and building muscle mass! good luck!

I think the best part about a glow up is watching yourself gradually gaining wisdom and a stronger mentality. When Alivia stated, "If thought can corrupt language, language can also corrupt thought," it makes you realize how vital positive words really are to develop an optimistic mindset. Our minds are our home. So often we fall victim to our own thoughts because we don't have the power to separate ourselves from the negativity. Which can ultimately conclude into negative actions. Kinda similar to when you call yourself "fat or ugly". Even though they're words, it impacts how you view yourself. Resulting in you not respecting your body for what it does (like keeping you alive on a day to day basis), but for how it "looks". Personally, I viewed myself like this for a long time. I tried to maintain an unrealistic image by maintaining an unrealistic diet that led me to binge eating. As of right now, I'm working on changing the way I look at things so the things I look at change. Nevertheless, I say all of this to remind you....yes...YOU....that you are a beautiful or handsome, kind, smart and worthy individual. You deserve to be loved by yourself. Remember, the environment we create is a reflection of our state of mind. So why not create a positive one :)

That’s so funny, I definitely dressed up for my finals for the exact reasons you said! I felt more prepared and confident because of it.

A philosophy I love is that the clothes are the problem not your body. I’ve struggled with trying on clothes in the dressing room. And just trying to be positive about your body, and negative about the clothes. Well that’s what works for me! Also instead of being so negative will eating food try to better next time. Cause you know what you’re doing wrong don’t be so hard on your self and expect the followers (us) to be disappointed.

Tip: you can’t avoid sugar, it’s literally in everything, even in “healthy” foods like fruit. Sugar is energy and you need it. It’s a carbohydrate and once again, you need that for fuel and energy. 👍🏾

I love these series not only because they inspire me to be a better version of my self, but also to love myself in the progress. I am someone who deals with anxiety and depression and by just listening to Alivea helps me so much. Thank you alivia you inspire me with every word you say.

I’m watching this through the last week of April and first of May 2020 .. I’m so frustrated, lonely, weak and anxious.. I am 29 and have been trying to change since forever and I’m even ashamed of myself for I am watching this amazing journey wanting to change myself but I know I wouldn’t do it or that I will only do it for a week or so and then I will fall back to my old self .. I think I hate myself.. if I loved me then I wouldn’t lose it every time! On 2016 I was at my best I was even lifting weights and on a perfect diet that I paid over a 1000 dollars for but guess what?! I gained 20 kilos after that !!!! Now I have been trying and lost 9 kilos in the past 6 months .. it’s a slow process but I don’t know I no longer have any feelings .. I’m trying to watch Videos like Alivia’s ( honestly I love her so much and think she’s the best ever person I have watched in a while ) I also am watching tons of bullet journaling videos and ordered myself one and waiting for it to arrive cause maybe I for one will use it wisely cause I spent a lot on other pre made planners and no I only used them for a week or so ( gosh I’m so embarrassing i must stop here ... )

I’m starting my own glow up journey for a lot of the same reasons. You’re so inspiring and beautiful (both inside and out). I also have problems with binge and cravings, I usually eat a good lunch and breakfast, but lose it by the end of the day.
