Former US Diplomat: This is why I quit the Biden administration | The Bottom Line

For 18 years, Hala Rharrit worked as a political officer in the US Department of State, and eventually as spokesperson for the government. After realising that United States policy on Israel’s war on Gaza was making it “impossible” to promote the US, “it came to a point where I realised I could no longer be part of the [Biden] administration”, she says.
Rharrit tells host Steve Clemons that US talking points are “dehumanising to the Palestinians” neglect their plight. and follow the lead of Israeli talking points. US policy is destabilising the region and not making Israel any safer, Rharrit argues.

Notice how the report caveats “U.S. humanitarian assistance”, not aid in general or from other places. The US had not tried to get in aid until they dropped some hot meals from the sky & built the pier. But both were ineffective & the former even killed some Gazans who were awaiting the food parcels to be dropped into the water! It fell on them instead because it malfunctioned & slipped off the plane prematurely. The pier was a failure as well as it also malfunctioned. It was only operational for 20 days, yet the amount of aid (which was just food) that it was able to get into Gaza during that time was equal to just 1 day of what the people there used to need PRIOR to the war. And they need a lot more now. But there was 1 US shipment of food aid that was destroyed by the IDF. It was a truckload of flour which infamously led to “The Flour Massacre”. Yet the IDF claimed that it was Khamas who attacked the truck & the US accepted that claim.
