US is nobody to put sanctions on other countries. Every country has its own dignity and international influence. US should not interfere in middle east matter. @Jan Yup There are many pro and anti Iranian government videos available on youtube and based on that you can not conclude that all people are against Iranian government. You can not neglect the fact that many of the anti-Iranian propaganda/protests are financed and motivated by America. Before reaching to any conclusion one should not forget the propaganda spread about Assaad of Syria and Gaddhaffi of Libya to make a pretext to get involved and destroy that countries. Secondly, you must understand that Iranian people are capable enough to decide the future of their government. Even if they hate their present governmental system, they are very patriotic and majority people are against any sort of foreign interference. More than 60% of Americans hate the TRUMP REGIME. Can we advocate that international community should impose sanction on America to get rid of this regime? America is a bully. To protect its interest in a region, it used to create civil unrest in countries who stand against its bullying. At least in Iran people can protest against their government where as people can not protest in Saudi, UAE, Qatar etc. against their corrupt and dictatorial rulers. Even the human right record of Saudi is far worst than that of any other country in the Middle East. Why no one talking about regime change in those countries? Libya was the richest country in the African continent and the standard of living of the people were many fold higher than people of any other country in that continent. Even though Gaddaffi was a dictator, the people were safe and prosperous during his time than it now. Take the example of Iraq before and after Saddam Hussein. Try to understand what American medias and propagandists described about Basher Al Assad and his government. They propagate that majority of the people hate him where as it is now proved that vast majority of Syrians are supporting Assad and the civil war was actually imposed on this people by evil forces like America, Saudi and its allies with help from few expatriate Syrians and few locals. I wonder how people still so stupid and ignorant to believe American sponsored propaganda about countries it hate.

Every map before WW2 called the the eastern gulf as the Persian Gulf. Look at a map even from the Egyptian, Greek, or Roman eras. They called Red Sea as Sinus Arabicus and Persian Gulf as Sinus Persicus. The British renamed it the British Sea during their propaganda phase in the region and the world scoffed. The Arabs are now doing the same, but it has been Persian gulf for 4000 years. If you want to rename something rename Red Sea.

T WE Iran isn't terrorist country. America calls Iran terrorist because they aren't using dollars to sell oil and they don't care about Israel. Truth is they are saying Iran is making nukes, Yet Israel itself has many nukes and UN isn't allowed to check how much they have just because of America. In truth, America is bullying smaller countries in order to stay rich. Venezuela was destroyed because of the same reason, they literally said that in the video above. India trading oil with Iran in rupees will save money and America won't make profit out of it

America, China & India are the three largest Oil consumers in the world. US has its own oil which makes China & India the largest importers of the Crude Oil. If these two countries come on the Same page, i mean if India and China become united than US is screwed on the same day. Iran has these two main customers & Iran dont want to lose its customers which provides him the only major source of Foreign currencies, I think Iran will decrease the price of oil by increasing the production than China and India will remain its customers that will effectively bypass us pressure on Iran. BTW During 2012 US asked India to reduce its oil import from Iran and in return, India increased the import, That was a slap on the face of Obama by India.

Long term, a bigger question is "How much longer will oil & gas be our primary sources of energy?" Renewable energy power plants are now cheaper to build than fossil fuel plants. Countries are beginning to set dates for mandating electric cars or hydrogen fuel cars. When will these combined trends cause world oil & gas energy consumption to decline?? For me, that is biggest question.
@RedRider16006 жыл бұрын
Higher oil prices is good for US and Canadian oil companies and domestic oil production. American, Venezuelan, Brazilian, Mexican, Nigerian, and Canadian oil production will make up for any losses or shortages from the Middle East.
@ALIENDNA146 жыл бұрын
The ostensibly short answer to this question, is an obvious "no..." However, the Middle East and North Africa, has another priceless resource at its disposal; and also something, which has yet to be even remotely tapped, as a viable resource. What the the Middle East might ostensibly lack in alternative or exploitable resources, is more than made up for, with its nearly immeasurably rich history; and something which still to the very day, has an immeasurable strong impact, upon our Globally driven( collectivist) political discourse... So Interpret that as you will: speculation-wise...

One more point -- the oil interests in the US may change their attitude towards Saudi Arabia. The oil lobby has strongly supported support for the monarchy. However, now that the oil lobby is producing surplus American energy that can be exported, Saudi Arabia is becoming a competitor to the US oil industry. Why would they support justifying, protecting, and guaranteeing the Saudi monarchy??? Does not make sense to me. Therefore, I expect the oil lobby to no longer support US government support for the Saudi regime. Inertia will maintain the current policy for awhile. But, in 5 to 10 years, I expect a profound change in our Middle East foreign policy and support for Saudi Arabia. I could be wrong --- but, where is the fault in my logic???

The USA is fed up with the Middle East madness. China and Russia will continue to help Iran’s nuclear deal like they already have for decades. Then again that Chinese ship did ram that Iranian ship earlier this year. Why do Muslim apologists forget 9/11? Why do they deny the slaughters of over one thousand years of Christians and Jews by Islam since Mohammed married a six year old girl and declared himself the ‘perfect man’? It’s totally deranged.

Despite all the talk about the need to end our dependence on oil for environmental and other reasons, our dependence On it is as great as ever, hence the US invasion of Iraq in 2003, and thousands of lives were lost to keep our access to it. The fact is that oil is finite and without finding alternatives, and there seems to be no sign at all of these, civilization will Be finished. Going back to a pre oil society is impossible, at least not without catastrophic consequences.

Of course oil continues to flow, when in fact each members of OPEC can contribute their share in increasing the supply of oil, they have a vast oil reserved in Iran, all they have to do is import the oil from Iran and give it to OPEC. Actually, It's not all about how much oil they can produce, what is primordial and most important to us consumers is the P.U.M.P. P.R.I.C.E. of fuels. By the way allow me to volunteer this information on crude oil price --- OFF-THE-ROCK in Mid-2017 for 2018 Pegging the price of Crude Oil: 1st quarter $72 per barrel, 2nd quarter $78 pb, 3rd quarter $82 pb & 4th quarter $100 pb, take note oil producing countries needs: Saudi Arabia $65-70 pb to balance their GDP; OPEC $80-85 pb for its members; Non-OPEC $100-150 PB; Venezuela, African oil producers, Nigeria and Angula $200 pb to balance their GDP and payments of loans. Again, take note these producing countries are at head-on or in proxy wars, and these price hikes would continue until it runs out. Price up dates from WTI & Brent Northsea

BTW..We are already seeing the effect of the decline of Middle East oil as a strategic resource. Western countries like Sweden, Denmark, and Canada have publicly criticized Saudi policies and lack of rule of law. I expect these criticisms will increase, and will start coming from larger countries. Trump will not be president for long, and the US exports oil and no longer needs Saudi oil. So, US politicians can criticize Saudi policies with no fear of economic repercussions. Moreover, the US is too powerful to be intimidated by threats from MBS. Change is coming. Slowly, maybe. But, it is coming.

US has no choice but to force its interest upon rest of world, to US there are no other interest worthy of consideration. US economic interest have to reach out and either subjugate Sovereign nations by economic warfare or outright military intervention, because as their ability to gain real profits from domestic industrial and financial means is tapped out. The oil topic on almost all media leaves out the US is now the worlds major, and still increasing, its leadership as oil, gas , and coal exports. The embargos, confiscation of "unfriendly", competing interest, nations and individual wealth of oligarchs, are all parts of Full Spectrum Warfare, and a facet no less than ancient siege tactics. US is a debtor nation that in no way can support its populace, and it's borrowing by sovereign Treasury Bond sales Israe spent. not being used to improve its domestic economic, social, and even highway (Transportation) infrastructure, and yet its military, which is no more than corporate malitia, cost knows no bounds and owes no explanation as to where 10's of Trillions of US dollars are spent. As the Petro dollar can no longer be a trusted as world currency backer being as today it is weaponized; devaluing by US of even a small nations currency will ripple throughout rest of world's economic system, no nation dares fully to challenge. Domesticly even stealing by taxation alone cannot fund government and its huge State and Fed welfare programs fund its bureaucracy and mostly now privatized can only support the top 28-30% of population it has to gain control of world's trade routes and resources. Environmentally the US is one of sickest nations in world, and becoming even more I'll as every resource available is now exported with most of profits young to international financials. with little tiny amounts of Royalty for sales and resulting destruction of public assets. World had best bend over for US needs, because it as a nation has no morals, the what's an it for me, permeates from top to even lowest religious organizations, so that like a trapped carnivore US will lash out with yes it's nuclear arsenals rather than lose place as Empire of World.
