Such a victory is called a pyrrhic victory. Hundreds of thousands of dead soldiers, the ruined reputation and contempt of the entire civilized world, an international arrest warrant for a president who is afraid to travel from the country, a new iron curtain with Europe, the enmity of the majority of Ukrainians for several generations to come, the rise of a totalitarian fascist state and thousands of political prisoners, hundreds of thousands young and educated people fleeing the country, the cost of a war in the hundreds of billions of dollars, if not trillions of dollars, all for the control of a few destroyed towns and villages in southeastern Ukraine. This doesn't look like a victory for Russia, but rather a disaster.

lessons learned from ukraine. 1. american weapons are still better than russias. 2. russian weapons are not obselete with new equipment being modern and adaptive to the battlefield against nato. 3. american weapons are expensive to make and private companies fuel billions to keep beurocracy more corrupt just like medicine and technology . 4. russian factories are state owned and will produce the needs for ammunition vehicles at the fraction of the cost on the best interest of the Russian Federation. 5. West aide is dwindling because from the withdrawal of afghanistan, usa did not withdraw afghanistan for "peace" and "afghan autonomy" but because the US government told private war companies that the money laundering scheme / oligarch party is apperently over because the US economy is at a fragile state. 6. russia's decisive win over ukraine will spark the new beginning of the multipolar world order combined with the issues of multicultural issues occuring in Europe and the USA, social domestic issues and economic dependence from others. 7. President Putin's gem of ukraine will make the next leader after Putin to be more nationalistic and have a seat at the table There you have it P.S : in the upcoming years, it is still curious to know if these private war companies whom tanks , helicopters, vehicles carrying the US flag will move offshores "venture" expditions just like our american textiles and fabrics.

I am very surprised at Al Jazeera's one-sided and sometimes propaganda reporting on this conflict throughout. Sometimes it's like listening to BBC or CNN? I'm also curious as to why RT is banned in the West and Al Jazeera isn't? It just doesn't make sense. The depressing and shocking coverage of Gaza by Al Jazeera has exposed the world to the reality of the situation, and in doing so has greatly enhanced its viewership! They could easily limit its availability. Something is afoot... anyone agree?
@Its_Neneka
@Its_Neneka 2 ай бұрын
Agreed. Al Jazeera is horribly biased, has sided with Russia many times and so has its viewers. It’s pretty ironic given that they fiercely support Palestine during the Israel/Gaza war while Ukraine is fighting for similar values. Geee I wonder why?

There are simply too many people watching in the west. Banning the channel would cause a huge uproar, and once put under scrutiny it would be incredibly hard to defend a ban with a consistent policy considering how western mainstream media operates. AJ basically use the guidebook of CNN or BBC, if one should be banned they all should.

It's only a stalemate in terms of position gained. Eventually the able recruits will die off and Ukraine will be left with senior citizens on the frontlines. Why didn't Russia attempt to entice Ukraine to join them? There are countries trying to join the European Commonwealth. There was a period when territories tried to join the USA. Both Russia and China could learn from the ideas underlying the European Commonwealth in my opinion.

Russia took advantage of Ukraines military Nato led failed strategy. Counter offensive was a fiasco, 12 Brigades lost in mine fiet, they didnt even reach the main fortifications! Russia verbalized their strategy. They are fighting an attrition active defense. Why is Ukraine going blow for blow with Russia?? Putin has superior resources and logistics. Russia is out manufacturing all Nato nations combined in armament!! Thats a tragic situation. Russia has patiently grinded down Ukraine soldiers. Ukraine military is out of trained nen, artillery, air defense, ammo, etc. Russia has air superiority, dropping hundreds of 500kg "FAB" bombs, missles, straffing runs, pinning Ukraine triops down. This in addition to more drones than Kiev, 10 to 1 artillery advantage, multi-rocket systems, misskes that drop mines behind troops, tanks, helicopters, electronic warfare. Russia signrd over 50k solidrrs in 2024 already, Ukraine has been reduced to forced conscription. Its das for Ukrainians, but ignoring the crumbling front line and military as a whole helps no one. It is obvious Ukrainians will be forced to cede territory and Nato membership. So why continue, as Ukraine's negotiating position gets weaker every day this continues. Any terryRussia annexes is not coming back. Zelensky negotiates now, or will face a horrific unconditional surrender when the Ukraine military splintets. Show compassion, Biden wants thecwar to continue past elections, cant adord a second Afghanistan, which is exactly what will happen without peace talks.

just think about it, 50 countries supply weapons to Ukraine, but it doesn't help, it is pointless to fight with Russia, although this is not even a war, Russia has used only 1% of its mobilization potential, in the event of a full-scale war, Russia can mobilize 25 million, now it uses only 450 thousand, 450 thousand Russian soldiers are fighting against 1 million Ukrainian army, which is supplied by 50 countries with weapons and they do not understand why this does not help them

Zelensky didn't try to prevent the conflict through diplomacy because he lacks honor and integrity. In 2014 there was a coup. Soon after, there was a massacre in Odessa (dozens of people were burned alive). Ethnic Russians living in Ukraine were treated as subhuman. Their language and culture was being oppressed. A civil war broke out due to the rise in ethnic tensions. For 8 years the Ukrainian military was indiscriminately shelling civilians living in Donbas. If Zelensky honored the Minsk agreement and pledged neutrality, none of this would have happened. The 8 year civil war would have ended and Donbas would have remained part of Ukraine. War is the ultimate failure of diplomacy. Zelensky, Poroshenko, Merkel and Hollande admitted that Ukraine had no intention to honor the Minsk agreements. Who didn't want peace? Who advised against the 2022 peace talks in April? Hint: someone visited Zelensky in Kiev at that time. Russia's national security was compromised once nato began to expand eastwards. Russia clearly stated that Ukraine joining nato was a red line (November 2021) and unfortunately this concern was never taken seriously. The Russians openly stated: if nothing changes, we will be forced to act in order to defend our national security. Enhancing the national security of one country at the expense of another is unacceptable. The Russians have legitimate security concerns. 20th September, 2021. Ukraine launched military drills with US and NATO NATO is not a defensive alliance. Nato illegally bombed Yugoslavia (a direct violation of the U.N. Charter). We should never forget what they did to Libya, Afghanistan, Iraq etc. Who blew up the pipeline causing an environmental disaster? Zelensky banned all opposition and arrested a leading priest. Zelensky tried to invoke article 5 under false pretenses. Remember the incident in Poland. Ethnic Russians living in Ukraine were treated as subhuman. Their language and culture was being oppressed. Poroshenko said, “Our children will go to schools and kindergartens-theirs will hide in the basements”. Russians will never forget the 2014 Odessa massacre. The whole world needs to know about it. Why was Denis Kireev eliminated? He was a member of Ukraine's negotiating team during the peace negotiations. He wanted to help his country. Ukraine has a hit list. They target artists, journalists and ordinary citizens. Hundreds of children are on this list. (13 year old Faina Savenkova was placed on this list.) Pink Floyd's Roger Waters is on this list. Jimmy Dore (American stand-up comedian, podcaster) and Aaron Maté (Canadian writer and journalist) are on this list. There is evidence that Ukrainian troops have been indiscriminately shelling civilians in Donbas. (they used petal mines and targeted areas where there was no military presence). The azov troops trapped in the azovstal steelworks in Mariupol used human shields. They refused to allow civilians to leave despite of humanitarian corridors being present. Russia held a proposed cease fire in order for the civilians to leave, but azov would not allow the civilians to leave. Ukraine has committed many acts of terrorism (car bombs and other forms of assassination). Darya Dugina (journalist) RIP. The first terrorist attack on the Kerch bridge killed the truck driver and the individuals in the adjacent car (innocent civilian victims). The second terrorist attack on the Kerch bridge killed two parents and severely injured their young daughter. I have done a lot of research and it took me a long time to write this comment. I have stated a lot of facts and I have given my honest opinion. I have provided a brief summary of events that took place. In order to explain this whole situation in great detail, a book would need to be written. Hopefully someone will write an UNBIASED book, stating facts and allowing the readers to form their own judgments. Everything I said can be fact checked and verified.
