It is very strange that all these "experts" are discussing which alternative markets for energy resources Russia will seek, even without knowing about the completely open information from Russia on this issue. I will share what these "experts" do not know: Putin issued an order on the development of Russia's domestic energy market in the first place, as well as increasing cooperation with countries that are members of common economic and trade unions with Russia. And when he was asked about gas supplies through Nord Streams if they were repaired, he replied that after the modernization of the domestic market it was unlikely that this would be relevant, since all the equipment of the blown-up branches of the gas pipeline from the entry points of the pipeline into the sea had been dismantled and put into operation in other places, and supplies were converted to sea transportation. in a liquefied form. There is another powerful onshore gas pipeline through Poland, but it has also been blocked. Who do you think needs to shut down gas pipelines, gentlemen "experts", if the whole of Europe continues to buy both Russian gas and Russian oil in different ways? Do you think Europe is voluntarily strangling itself? No. Europe has long turned into a colony and the "master" uses it as he wants, where he wants and in what positions he wants. I'm just touched by the fact that all these "experts" are trying to say clever words with clever faces when everything is quite obvious and lies right on the surface. Maybe you haven't heard yet who is going to acquire the rights to the blown-up branches of the gas pipeline? One American citizen. I will not deprive you of the pleasure of learning new things. To do this, you just need to type a question in your browser's search engine. Maybe specialists will finally start thinking with their brains, and not just with their heads, on which there are many organs that are not capable of thinking...

@alfredneuman69112 күн бұрын
Why, you win the prize for the most stupid post, "my boy". Overheating? Then why did the Central Bank suspend trade in the ruble last November. Overheating? Then why did your Central Bank set the interest rate at 23%? Overheating? Then why did your Minister of Economics say that you have a worker shortage? (Hint: YOu've lost 3 million men to those who fled your concriptions, your six concriptsions of 995.000 mean -- your official figure -- anbd the half millino men killed and injured in your racist war of imperialism.

@@Ser-Tor-s7t Overheating means there is too much money in circulation . As a result central bank increases the interest rate to reduce the money in circulation and control the money value. some of the reason for overheating can be for example increased amount of money and investment of Russian in Russia due to sanction , high profit of producing materials that can be used in war industry, increased amount of money in people hand. For example an individual who join Russian army can get a bonus equivalent of several years of salary in Russia

For every $ which Europe pays to Russia, Europe has to pay multiple the amount to care for the damage which Russia inflicts on Europe. Therefore it is a good thing that Hungary and Slovakia can not buy any more gas from Russia. The rest of Europe has been independent on Russian gas for years.

The point here is that the EU needed to stop buying energy from Russia. Now it has. Strategically the EU is in a much better position and russia is in a much worse position. Well, that's the price of starting wars Vlad! The EU is SO much richer than russia that it hardly matters who has lost the most money - what matters is who has been hurt most (clue: The answer is russia)
@alexlong371419 сағат бұрын
Others will continue to buy Russian gas, no? Deliveries to China started on 2 December 2019. In 2020, China has imported 4.1 billion cubic meters of natural gas from Russia through the pipeline. It is expected that amount will increase to 38 billion cubic meters by 2023. By December 2024, the full pipeline for the Power of Siberia was completed by China.

All 3 guests say no, simply because the Russian gas isn’t sanctioned. Russias economy is about the size of Italy and dwarfed by the EU as a whole. While the EU suffers inconvenience, Russia is already having existential battle against stagflation and a demographic crisis.
@alfredneuman69112 күн бұрын
Russia's economy is considerably smaller than Italy's. And, as Russia now produces nothing and sells nothing on international markets except extractive products (petro, diamonds, wood, etc) they are receding into the 19th Century.

The sanctions have a long-term impact which is why Russia's economy is struggling now. The interest rate and inflation is much higher than Europe ever reached in 2022 and 2023. Europe is down to 2-5% depending on the country. An important lesson is that fuel policy is foreign policy.

BS, Ivan. Here are two facts for you: In 2021, Europe bought 48% of your oil and gas. China bought 20%. Now Europe buys nothing and China buys 48%. That is a 28% loss.

No. The answer to your question is NO. Europe has had 3 years to plan for this cut-off, and if it doesn't happen, Russia continues the war in Ukraine with ambitions to move further into other European nations. So the answer is NO. This gas shutdown will increase European stability, end an illegal invasion, and protect Poland and Finland. The answer is and always will be NO.

If Russia is doing so great, why are they complaining about the sanctions? And if EU and the west are doing so poorly because of sanctions, why is there no general urge there to remive the sanctions? These are democracies after all, if people would want sanctions removed, they would elect politicians to do it. But the big picture is that this is not happening. Quite contrary. And it is quite logical why this is the case. The west is many many times richer than Russia. It can afford it, while Russia is heading for economic collaps. So this story about ”Russian prosperity, western doom” all seems to be total BS

Or power blackouts across the nation? Or the once most profitible company, Gazprom, losing 8 billion last year? Or...

@poppystars9005 No power blackouts? Are you sure? You haven't seen the Russian videos showing pensioners fighting over food in dumpsters? Or the distribution of food coupons? The only "place" in Russia relatively "unharmed" by sanctions are the major cities... if you earn a lot of money. Everyone else is having a hard time paying for groceries. e.g. eggs and butter are now being kept in... locked... cabinets because there are so many thefts.
