Hi.. I have Enagic kangen level uk sd 501 using since 2 years. connected the ionizer to an RO. U said the concentration of dissolved hydrogen from ionizers depends on the input water. Can we use a good quality MINERALIZER in the RO and then connect it to ionizer to increase the concentration. Pls clarify

Hey, I have a Reverse Osmosis filter under the counter, and an Enagic Leveluk K8. I’m thinking to get the Lourdes hydrogen machine, and am wondering whether I should put the leveluk (kangen) water into the hydrogen machine and will it bring more additional benefits, or should I get rid of the enagic machine altogether and just use the hydrogen machine. What do you think?

Hello Dieg101, The effectiveness of the Enagic Leveluk K8's to produce therapeutic levels of hydrogen gas in water is highly dependent on source water conditions (e.g. conductivity). The combination of RO filtration with water ionizers is generally not the most optimal approach unless the RO filtration includes some sort of remineralization media. Nevertheless, the K8 will still have limitations compared to other devices on the market for generating therapeutic hydrogen water. I've discussed this topic in more detail in an article, What is Kangen Water: h2hubb.com/2020/10/07/what-is-kangen-water/ Moreover, I recommend considering an alternative hydrogen system instead of the Lourdes Hydrofix. Our in-depth analysis revealed that its hydrogen performance fell well below our expectations. For an investment over $2500, there are hydrogen water systems with better H2 performance available. We've recently tested and approved a hydrogen system that dissolves 3.0 mg/L (ppm) of H2 in water, confirmed by a US-based laboratory. It features a built-in 3-stage RO filtration system, temperature adjustment for the H2 water, and more. Hi, I’m new to all this but I have been doing a little research. This cleared up ionizers vs hydrogen generators. If I’m understanding, they basically do the same thing but different processes? Ionizers have been the “standard” but with this newer hydrogen generators, it’s a lot more efficient?

Ionic membrane devices are typically water ionizers. When considering purchasing an alkaline water ionizer, opting for a newer generation is advisable. Newer models, offered by companies like Alkaviva and Tyent, excel in producing and dissolving hydrogen gas into water compared to conventional (older generation) water ionizers. However, as mentioned in the video, there is minimal rationale for selecting this technology over hydrogen infusion machines (HIMs) due to their limitations in producing therapeutic levels of hydrogen gas.

I’m getting a 1000ml/min machine that is both oxygen and hydrogen. It didn’t come with a bubbler stone so I’ve ordered one separately. I intend to make my own hydrogenated water with just running hydrogen only through the stone in water. It’s a fairly small stainless steel either 2 or 5micron stone, do you think this will cause stress to the machine? Pem type.
