@@IronMan-vh1yo Not necessarily, I believe you can watch Daredevil without watching the other marvel shows on Netflix (Jessica Jones, Iron Fist, Luke Cage, The Punisher and the mini series The Defenders that has some elements for Matt Murdock in the third season), it's a terrific show.

Very interesting video. I've seen so many of your Marvel Netflix rankings, and yet each time you release a new one you manage to keep me interested. I salute that ^^ My views slightly differ from yours as my top 5 would be: 1. Daredevil season 1 (started it all and had me compelled pretty quickly, it was just perfect) 2. The Punisher season 1 (never watched any season of anything that fast, I fell in love with every character on that show and the story, damn!) 3. Daredevil season 3 (Matt's journey's just breathtaking, I really like Foggy's and Karen's too (unpopular opinion for the last one, I know). I liked Bullseye and those fight scenes, wow. But contrary to you and most (2nd unpopular opinion), I've always found Kingpin quite dull in the show, they never managed to provoke my interest in the character and he's so important in that season that it lowers it down a lot in my ranking.) 4. The Punisher season 2 (I actually really liked Jigsaw's character development, didn't like the shrink though and I agree that his story arc hasn't been handled properly, but I salute the performance from Ben Barnes. Also I wasn't fond of the girl even though I liked how Frank interacted with her. Overall some pretty big rhythm issues but good stories, awesome fight scenes and lit performances) 5. Daredevil season 2 (didn't like the part with Elektra and the hand, had they stayed with the Punisher part it would have been #1 for me)

Agents of Shield- now if this show used more ghostrider and other big name marvel characters from the mcu films especially showing up alot of the times like iron man, captianbamerica, war machine, hulk, hawkeye, black panther, ect. Than it's possible this could have been number 1 for me. Even though I really love s2 and s3 alot this show doesnt have enough big name characters and it's more about the c listers. 4. Jessica Jones 5. Agent Carter 6. The Runaways 7. Luke Cage 8. Iron Fist 9. Defenders 10. Cloak and Dagger 11. Inhumans

1) Daredevil S3: 9.9 - DD S3 was S1 but even better. Kingpin was magnificent once again. Bullseye was a great villain as well. Even though I got spoiled on a few key plot points, S3 was still amazing not only in its action scenes and also the execution from episode to episode. I also wished that I didn't see the trailer for S3..........Too bad there's not gonna be a S4 that continues his storyline. 2) Daredevil S1: 9.8 - The OG. Other series also tackle the theme of morality and what's right and wrong, but DD S1 did it the best in my personal opinion. The fight choreography and all the other supporting cast makes the world building realistic. I also really enjoyed the courtroom banter in the show. 3) Jessica Jones S1: 9.6 - Kilgrave stole the show. One of the best villains in the whole MCU, not just from the Marvel Netflix series.The conflict between him and Jessica was amazing to watch. 4) The Punisher S1: 9.0 - Personally, I feel like there's a significant drop of quality from top 3 to the rest of the list. I like The Punisher S1 but the side plots just doesn't really interest me. Feel like some plots aren't necessary at all. Still, the last couple of episodes were extremely satisfying to watch. 5) Jessica Jones S3: 8.8 - JJ S3 is mad underrated. lol. This season raises the question of "Does the end justify the means?". It's unfortunate that no villains from JJ series can live up to Kilgrave but that's because he is too darn good as a villain. Sallinger was cool. He reminds me of villain "John Doe" from Se7en (great movie btw. suggest you guys to check it out). Trish Walker was alright. We get to understand her character more in S3 and why she acts the way she does in the show. Although I'm not gonna lie, her character "triggers" me at times. Overall, I thought the finale was an appropriate way to end the series. 6) Daredevil S2: 8.5 - Man......where should I start... S2 was almost perfect in the first half with the Punisher being introduced. However, once Elektra appeared, the series became a battle with the Hand??? There were some great action scenes. Particularly, a scene involving a Hand member breaking into Matt Murdock's home but for the most parts, I don't feel like the stakes were high enough with the Hand as the antagonists. 7) The Punisher S2: 8.1 - The plot with the girl is meh, but Frank Castle is what kept me watching. Jigsaw was an ok villain but I like Pilgram more. S2 was even less focused than S1. Not to mention, 2 villains in the same season just doesn't really work. Feel like S2 should be separated into 2 seasons kind of like Daredevil S2........ 8) Luke Cage S2: 7.6 - Bushmaster was a great villain. Not as good of a villain as Kingpin or Kilgrave, but he was still amazing. In my opinion, S2 was a significant improvement over S1. Pacing was a lot better too. 9) Jessica Jones S2: 7.5 - Ah, this is where my ranking differs from the majority of audiences. Does JJ S2 have flaws? Yes, quite a few especially the pacing. But I don't think S2 was terrible by any means. I mean it's nowhere as good as S1 (btw not many Marvel Netflix seasons can even compare to JJ S1). People only shit on it because the season was lackluster when you compare it side by side with its predecessor. The main complaint was that there's no concrete villain and the story doesn't go anywhere but I disagree. I found the conflict between Jessica and her mother very interesting. What was she suppose to do? Kill her own mother and live with the guilt for the rest of life? Jessica's morality was once again tested in S2. 10) Iron Fist S2: 7.0 - It's slightly better S1. Davos was an alright villain. The story was more fleshed out this season. Supporting cast like Ward Meachum had fantastic character development. The fight choreography also became more intricated compared to S1 so that's always a plus (still not on the level of the Daredevil series which is a shame because this is a martial art series). Unfortunately, Danny Rand just doesn't have the screen presence to carry the whole show like Sean said. That I agree 100%. 11) Iron Fist S1: 6.8 - Contrary to popular opinions, I don't believe Iron Fist S1 is the worst season of all Marvel Netflix shows. I really enjoy the business "talks" and the messed up dynamics between the Meachum and Rand family. However, that's about all the positives I have. S1 has a terrible villain and a bland protagonist in Danny Rand. You know there's something wrong with the show when you want to see more screen time of the Meachum family and Colleen Wing as opposed to Danny Rand doing Martial Art stuff and learning about his backstory. 12) Luke Cage S1: 6.5 - Why can't the villain just the Cottonmouth? I don't understand........Maybe some people believe a "plot twist" would be cool but personally I think the moment Cottonmouth was killed, the show lost its "momentum". Luke Cage S1 was very unique from its soundtrack and the use of visual storytelling. Unfortunately, the death of Cottonmouth ruined S1. 13) The Defenders: 6.4 - I want to give the series a higher rating, but the ending just doesn't deserve it at all..........The whole show doesn't have any "weight" behind it. The Hand members do not seem intimidating at all compared to the 4 heroes. Alexandra was an intriguing character as the mastermind behind The Hand but like Sean said she was killed again similar to Cottonmouth. Such a wasted potential. Elektra in my opinion has never been a compelling villain/anti-hero. The biggest problem of The Defenders is the script. It was cool to witness the 4 heroes coming together and work as a team, but the payoff was nonexistent because there were 0 stakes involved by the end of the series.

There are a couple easter eggs here and there in regards to "MCU main events" but the storyline do not tie in with the MCU movies at all. Daredevil and Jessica Jones were the first series that came out on Netflix so you can start with those. But be warned........DD and JJ are are best series out of all the Marvel Netflix series so don't have the same expectation you have on DD/JJ when you watch other series.

i just LOVE, ABSOULUTELY LOVE how DD occupies the top 3 spaces, i mean, yeah it deserves it all just the same way TDK trilogy is the absolute single king, no disputes, best superhero movie, DD is the single best, undisputed single best superhero show, its a shame that they cancelled it. Daredevil A+ Punisher A Jessica Jones B Defenders B- Luke Cage C+ Iron Fist D+ I actually liked Defenders, it has its flaws but I thought it was a fun teamup, along lead up to a great season 3 of daredevil. Luke Cage and Iron Fist I don’t find as interesting characters. Which is why I am them as bottom 2.

Battle Rifle I liked how long it was before he got the suit, and I loved the season, but I think it did start out a little slow for the first few episodes in the season after the first one imo. But the whole season was still incredible and in my top 5

I really feel like a lot of people dont get punisher s2. Season 1 was frank finishing the job of avenging his family and seeing what he could have been. S2 was a bit more nuanced. Frank, for the first time in years, has no purpose. Then the girl appears, giving him a purpose. As the season progresses, the question of what does frank want continues to rise. He could walk away from the bloodshed, most of which he ends up causing (he made jigsaw, and preacher is hunting him and the girl) or truly become the punisher, at the price of ever having a normal life. The preacher is just like frank, doing everything he can to protect his family. At the end, the preacher can have a normal life, while frank chooses otherwise. As for jigsaw, the time he chose to not kill someone who caused his family harm, that ends up in more bloodshed because of his choice. His former friendship, memories of the goodtimes, whatever the cause. And now others were paying the price.

I would mostly agree. If I'm being honest all the hand stuff wasn't great. I would maybe rank DD season 2 higher because of the punisher bit. The elektra stuff really pulls it down though. DD season 1 and 2 with all the Fisk stuff is unrivalled

I honestly don’t hate iron fist s1. I understand what they wanted to do with it and I agree it definitely had issues but I appreciated it for what it was and season 2 was really fun for me. Would’ve liked to see where a season 3 could have went. As for Finn Jones, I really don’t get the hate for him. It’s not really his fault for the way the script was written

I love your lists and always look forward to each an every one, your so honest and passionate about all of them and its amazing. It was also quite entertaining to hear you say, "Right before I get into the top 3" and everyone knew what they were, but also that it was the entire series. Also the punisher playing cards and hanging out with the girl sordof grounded him in away, that she was like a daughter to him and it was like he had his family back and was trying to be with it a little longer, it made sense with his character and so did Jigsaw's development aswell and his story, It actually worked pretty well and fit in with the rest of the season and developed it enough where it explained him pretty well. Please do this for the Disney+ shows aswell and once Marvel is done making tv Shows can you do a list with all of the live action shows fro ABC, Hulu, Freeform, Netflix, Disney+, the 70s Spider-man & Incredible Hulk, and then of course the Japanese Spider-man series, Mutant X, and the FOX Series, thnx Sean, you rock
