My best petty revenge: Years ago I had to call out a repairman for my refrigerator. It turned out to be a super simple fix that took the guy less than a minute to fix. Then, with a hearty laugh the guy said he was tacking an extra $100.00 on the charge because I should have figured it out myself. A month later I'm at work. My job was at a lodge in the middle of nowhere on the Snake River. A guy comes running in screaming that his boat was on fire. I recognized the guy immediately as the jerk repairman. I held up a small bottle of water and told him "That will be $100.00", he recognized me and said no way in hell he was going to give me a hundred bucks so we stood on the bank watching his boat burn into the water. I win LMAO

In some countries this can be classed as poisoning.. Tampering with food/drink so you ingest it and have a reaction is poisoning, esp if you know that person is allergic to it. At minimum its on the same grade as peeing in a drink or putting laxatives in food (if you have a fridge raider at work) but at worst its just flat out poisoning.

Petty story to share: When I was in high school I lived super close to school. Honestly just a few houses down, I could ALMOST see the school from the end of the driveway. That's how close we were. So, one day I was home sick from school and I had seen some of the kids that had a habit of bullying me using my driveway and my neighbor's driveway as a hangout spot to chain smoke cigarettes and hang out during the lunch period. I called the school pretending to be my mom and complained about "hooligans in front of my house" and got to watch the principal march them back to school and the next day I heard they had ISS. It was great. 😂

How? They're not on school property so how could the principal do anything? When your kid acts up at home and refuses to go to school the principal can't come to your house and haul the kid off to school. Outside of school grounds the principal has no authority over the students. Doesn't matter if it's the house next to the school or down the street they can't leave school grounds to punish a student for something they do off school grounds. Makes no sense lol
@CelticSunflowerStudios Жыл бұрын
@@aslynnbrooks9275 I don't care how or why. Maybe the principal was bored but when I called to complain not long after the principal walked them back to the school and they had ISS for I'm assuming leaving property/skipping when they weren't supposed to. Normally I hated our principal because he was a dickhead so maybe he was going beyond what he was supposed to do, but I was glad it happened. I had a break (although only a short one) from people who tormented me literally daily.

Actually, from the moment you leave your house for school to the moment you arrive safely home, teachers have a duty of care. @amisedai942 yeah no truancy officers are not teachers and teachers are not truancy officers and the principal is neither of those things lmao so no the principal did not personally hike down to someone's private property off campus outside of school hours to harass a student for something they are doing outside of school hours. We aren't talking about truancy here anyways so... this doesn't even mean anything lol

@cc1526 Жыл бұрын
@@scubachrissy I just feel like using the term “bullying” to describe criminal behavior (ex. purposely trying to give someone a food they are allergic to) minimizes the severity. Kind of similar to saying “this person was involved in a car accident” when in reality the person was driving drunk and caused a crash - it minimizes the severity of the situation. I just think word choice is important and using a term that typically describes mean name calling or not letting someone sit at the cool kids table to describe possible life ending attacks does the situation any justice.

I stole 2 dictionaries from her collection of them, all copies numbered 1-36. I stole 6 and 36 because I knew not only would it annoy her that it ended in 35 but seeing odd numbers close to each other made the missing book more obvious. She never replaced them, probably couldn’t find any copies of the dictionary so they sat there at the front of the class in all their untidy glory. @@fleetwoodmacncheese4159 The way so many parking lots are now, where the businesses try to fit as many parking spaces as possible in the lots, it's easy to back into other cars, especially if you're driving a pickup, SUV, or full size sedan. I stopped driving pickups years ago after such an incident and because the price of gas is so high. I bought a (now) 20 year old Hyundai Santa Fe for $800 four years ago which is big enough to carry the 50 lb. bags of chicken and goat feed and other things I need for my ranch, but saves a lot of $$ on gas. It's scratched up from 4 years of driving off-road to get to my place, 3 miles from a paved road, so I don't care if it gets another scratch or small dent. Also my goats climb on it so it has actual hoof prints on the hood and roof. I told a little kid that those hoof prints are from that time when Santa tried to land on my house roof, but landed on my car instead (yeah, I'm going to hell for lying to a child). A few months ago, a lady in her 70s backed into my car and left a small dent on my bumper about the size of a silver dollar. She was so upset, crying and apologizing and worried about what her son would be angry. I told her that he doesn't need to know, because I don't see any damage. She pointed out the tiny dent, but I told her it was probably already there, and all I see is that the collision left a small clean spot on my filthy bumper. That's the upside of driving an old piece o' crap car! I love your YT name, looks like the answer to a Wheel of Fortune "before and after" puzzle, and it combines two things I love, great music and comfort food!

I was thinking it was the crypto! My cousin's son got deeply into crypto but didn't understand the risks and lost a lot of $$$. He's a smart guy, has a degree in chemical engineering and had a high-paying job with Exxon, which paid for his beautiful home in Houston, big bass boat and motorcycles, and made it possible for his gorgeous wife to stay home and take care of their darling baby boy. This guy was the envy of anyone who knew him because he was living the dream. That all changed when he became obsessed with crypto and maga. He announced on Facebook at the end of December 2020 that he was invited by his president to attend a rally in D.C. on Jan. 6th, where he and other patriots would be given further instructions. Several of us pleaded with him to stay away from that situation, but he went anyway. Now he's serving time in federal prison because of whatever it was he did that day (he might be out by now). His wife filed for divorce, moved in with her parents, and got sole custody of their son. Of course, Exxon fired him, and they lost the house and pretty much everything else. It's heartbreaking. I knew him as a smart, polite little boy who was a delight to be around at family reunions. I couldn't believe it when I found out he joined that mob because it's so unlike the person I thought he was. I hope he learned from it and can work at getting his family back but I think his wife is recently remarried. I'll never understand how a smart person could throw away their life the way he did.

My friend found out her husband was cheating from the husband of the woman he cheated with. Not telling her husband she knew(wanted to wait to see her lawyer first) she acted like all was fine that night. Her husband complained of being sick. She remembered the man telling her his wife was home sick as well. This tipped her over the edge bc it meant they had been exposed to each other recently. Husband asked for a popular fever reducer and she said “yes, dear” Went to bathroom to get a couple, stuck them in her butt, and gave them to him. He promptly took them both. After seeing her lawyer the next day she told everyone she could how she stuck them up her ass and how he took them. He’s now called Two Time Tylenol

I knew an old dirty man from the SOUTHSouth whom everyone called Cooter. He had many..interesting stories to tell but one in particular was about how him and his brother always got into it as children. They shared a bedroom with 2 beds and a nightstand in the middle. He said his brother would always just randomly punch him awake or do something randomly to piss him off. He also mentioned his brother was obsessed with his chapstick and kept it on the nightstand. His story ended with one particular day when his brother got him in trouble and he was sent to their room over some ridiculous lie so he decided to take his brother's chapstick and put it in his butt and sat there silently as he watched his brother smear it on his lips. I always got along with the guy but I especially stayed on Cooter's good side after that story.

One day my daughter and I had been shopping. I am disabled and have a parking placard, we also had my infant grand daughter with me. We had just returned to our parking spot to leave, my daughter had the back door open to put in the car seat. A woman pulls up, wanting my spot, and starts beeping for me to hurry up and get out of "HER" spot. I suddenly recalled that there was something I had forgotten to buy, and that we really needed to go back and get it right now. So daughter removes grand daughters car seat and resituates it in the stroller and off we go. The woman started yelling something out the window at us, no idea what because we were busy with our own conversation. Remember, a spot is not yours until you are actually in it.

I didn't exactly get revenge on my bullies. They were sisters and decided that I wasn't good enough to exist. My parents were friends with theirs, and I was friends with their younger brother (he was closer to my age). As I said, they decided I shouldn't exist. So after some nasty name calling events and one full on nasty note, my father got mad and went to their parents. But by then, my parents were not as close to them. The parents decided they were business owners and too good for us when my parents helped them start their business. So of course, they saw nothing wrong. That's when they got everyone at my small school to stop talking to me. Other than teachers, for 2 years, no one spoke to me because of these 2 nasty girls. But then suddenly, they got told that even though they were business owners, their kids could not keep attending that school because they had moved. The girls put up a huge fuss because the hated the school they were to go to and had already made enemies there. Too bad, the law is the law. So they had to start over in a school they hated, where most students already hated them. I heard they tried to do the whole "don't talk to her" thing again there but they chose one of the most popular girls and it didn't go well. Last I heard, the girls no longer speak to each other and their brother avoids them at all costs. Both girls have been married multiple times and one has been strung out for a large portion of her adult life. And I don't feel bad one bit.

I think that's very sweet, and if I had a SO and they honored me that way, I would feel loved. Those are pretty cool creatures, but then I love tarantulas and I'm trying to think of a name for the diamondback rattler that lives in a den next to my goat pen. When my son was 5, I took him to a Harvest festival at our church where there was a petting zoo. One creature they had was a Madagascar Hissing Cockroach, but my little boy heard it as "Kissing Cockroach", so he happily planted a gentle smooch on that bug's back! The church ladies were horrified, but I grinned and said, "That's my boy!"

They wanted me to make a sandwich with the bread they brought in. (They clearly just needed the fillings.) All I could do was tell them we don't have the proper allergen-free tools and regulations and all I could do was do a simple wipe down so least they had the proper cautions told to them. They knew the risk and potential consequence. Even if you're not being filmed, you're in a public space!!! People can see you... you ain't slick.... that ice cream situation was horrible. True story; I remember back when i was still a child, around (7 or 9 yrs old), male cousin (was around 14). i grew up with many cousins, but there was this cousin in particular that i used to dislike in a sense when it came to his eating habits. Since he used to chew with his mouth open, i remember thinking of asking him in multiple occasions for him to please close his mouth while chewing his food, but i never actually did. Surprisingly, one day however, it seems he picked up on my thoughts. At first he would tried closing his mouth while chewing but in the process i saw him feeling unwell and uncomfortable, i asked him if he was okay, and he felt embarrassed but caved in and told me everything. I felt bad and i told him how i felt but that i wasn't going to make him do something that made him feel uncomfortable. So in the end, i left him be because again; i didn't wanted to make him uncomfortable while we ate, though it was a bit annoying and it seems that mama was also concerned about it. Months after, when mama took him to the hospital, soon we came to find out that he suffered from Ankyloglossia, in shorter terms, tongue-tie symptoms which prevented his tongue from reaching the roof of his mouth which explained why he chewed with his mouth open. Sadly, back in those days and living in a third world country, we didn't had the money to pay for surgery or anything. (We were lucky enough to saved up to take him to the hospital and had him checked). I felt really bad afterwards, and although i never really complained to anyone about his chewing condition (though he did caught on to my feelings) i came to actually accept that there are times when people just gotta come to a compromise and grew to accept it to the point were i became okay with the chewing noises. I guess the moral of my story is that to never judge a book by its cover. If there are things you dislike about someone's bad habits talk to them, come with a compromise and if things don't work out, then either break up/leave the set person and/or move on. Don't be petty like the girl (who almost fucked this guy's life) because he 'chewed with his mouth open'. There's always a time and place, and of course an occasion/reasons to be petty, but that ain't it. Lol.

I used to get bullied when I was younger, and my so called friends never stood up for me at all. Like the bullies would push me down cement staircases, and pull my hair and throw rocks at me... of course the teachers never saw until I tried to fight back, then the girls changed their tune and said I was bullying them. Yes, because one person is SO likely to bully a group of individuals that are like 2-3 years older than them. I never understood how stupid some teachers could be!!! For about 2 years in a row I kept getting detention on purpose, cause if the bullies never got caught then detention was the safest place for me to be. I wish I could have figured out someway to get petty revenge... but my mind doesn't work like that. The best I have for revenge, is over 2 decades later, I am loving my life, and many of those girls lives have turned to garbage because of teenage pregnancy, dropping out of school, and being so nasty they no longer have people willing to help them. So yes, being a bully when you are younger can absolutely mess with how you perceive yourself growing up and make you the issue of your own life! They were entitled brats and many (not all of them) continue to be entitled adults. Out of all the people who bullied me I only ever got an apology from one of them, we are not friends, but I have no animosity towards that one particular woman. And I hope that since she's admitted to her wrongs she will have grown to be a lovely person with a great family.
