Yeah, I thought she was going to say that she went and spoke to his lawyer, but when the time came for her to testify on his behalf, she would instead share exactly what he did to her, passing out the photos of her busted up face and (if there was one) police report.

When I was in the army, I had an senior NCO, “Ben” that was in my section. We became good friends, but I realized he was the biggest hoe I’d ever met. Not gonna lie, he was good looking. I met his wife, “Betty”, she was also pretty hot, and was an instructor at the gym I went to. We also became good friends. After I returned from a short deployment, Ben was there to welcome home those of us that had volunteered to deploy. He met me with “Hi. Guess what? Betty left me. Guess who she’s seeing?” I said “your boss”. He’s like, “How did you know? Did she tell you?” I said, “Nope. I told you she would find out about you running around on her. And your boss is who I would have hooked up with.” Yes, I’m the one who told her. Girl code, right?

I have fibromyalgia and adhd, probably autism, which gives me brain fog (it's dang Silent Hill up in there 😂) and I say, "Uh, uhm," and "wait, what was I saying?" I tend to stutter and say weird things when I'm nervous too. Plus I'm overweight thanks to the combo of hypothyroidism and limited exercise due to the chronic pain. Oh, and I've had hyperhydrosis (excessive sweating) my whole life. So yeah, I'm a wee bit uncomfortable in new social situations. I've been in a few where I scared someone away while trying to put them at ease, or my odd mannerisms were made fun of. Yeaaaahhh...that sucks. It's nice to hear about this woman having her friend's back like that, but she should have reported them to HR for their behavior and told those girls straight up that they were being jerks to her close friend. The sabotage is funny, but it doesn't really change their behavior in the end.

Hey feel better about yourself. And don't eat so much starch when you're at the gatherings and you won't wear as much starches the problem everything else is fine just eat the The veggies meats and fruits you'll be fine. As far as your stutter I had a cousin who was hit with a baseball bat at the back of his head. It ended up causing him to have speech problems as well as learning problems so his learning basically ended in elementary school but he was pushed on through the system because well they thought they should do that. Thank goodness he found a very kind person a lovely girl who was a teacher He worked the grounds at the high school after graduating from high school and became the groundskeeper. He was really good working with tools and with his hands. She was one of the teachers and saw him eating his lunch and walking the track everyday to keep in shape because yeah you get pudgy when you're shy and you don't have much to do with other people who tease you. They ended up starting to go out and dating and he got married I was so proud of him for taking a chance on somebody. She is still married to him and they have a wonderful family. She also saved his bacon She started teaching him how to read better than elementary school level so that he could understand when his brothers after his father's death tried to cheat him out of his property and his inheritance. Not only were they going to try and take all of his inheritance from his father's estate but he had bought the land that he had built a house for his family on etc and he were going to try and get that too They had told the lawyer don't worry my brother doesn't know how to read we'll take care of everything and they were trying to con their brother into signing some documents they'd created which would give them everything including the land he had paid for and built that house on. They were trying to con him into not showing anything to his wife well his wife said he can read They said no he can't and right in front of them her lovely husband was able to open the paperwork and read it straight out to them and he said I'm not stupid you know I just had teachers who failed me and he was able to say it clearly was shocked them because they had quit attending family events if he was around they didn't want to deal with their stuttering brother. She had also gotten him back into speech therapy There had been so much change in how they worked with people who stutter He could speak clearly now in short sentences and I think his anger at them helped. I just want you to know we're not all like that I love my cousin Butch We called him little Butch because we also had a big Uncle Butch so good luck to you and I know what weight is like I suffered trying to keep the weight down turned out it's a genetic problem the US changed from the regular wheat that most Western Europeans can eat to Eastern European wheat which only 10% of the population can digest properly and it causes obesity quit eating the wheat and any other kind of starch and you'll be really shocked the wait will come off so fast you won't even believe it it'll also help get rid of arthritis and stuff I had to see a geneticist but it worked Good luck to you. I had a stroke and had to have speech therapy I who had given speech just throughout my childhood and college career public speaking was my domain and I had to learn how to talk again I know what it feels like and when I get tired or get confused or stressed out well nobody can even understand me because the words don't come I'll ask for fork and it'll be a dirty word or chair I really appreciate it when it's chair and not the dirty word so hang in there and yes I liked that little tricky played on those women too those women were stupid I bet that guy would have been a great person to date.

Facts! My grandmother’s uncle owned a sugar cane farm and when his wife’s Ford broke down on her way to a church meeting, he drove to the Ford dealer after dropping her off. No one would help him because he was in his dirty overalls and looked to be a vagrant. So he walked next door to the bank, withdrew about $6k and went across the street to the Cadillac dealer and bought the car in the showroom for cash! (Clearly this was years ago.) He then drove to the Ford dealership and told one of the five salesmen who approached him before he could even get out of the car to get the general manager. He then proceeded to explain to him that he had been in earlier wanting to buy his wife a replacement Ford but his inattentive sales people cost him that business and that he would never be a Ford buyer again. And he wasn’t.

My mom’s first husband (who died a couple years after they were married) walked into a jeweler to buy her an engagement ring- he was wearing his work clothes (he worked on an oil drilling rig in Alaska), and the person who helped him immediately turned him away and declared that he couldn’t afford anything in their store. So he went to another employee and asked if he could buy the most expensive ring in the place. BOOM. Never judge a book by its cover 🤷🏼‍♀️😂

Several years ago we chipped in to buy our mom perfumes she really likes (she uses them carefully, a bottle lasts for like, 5 years or so) for her birthday. I went to Douglas right after school (17-year-old with high school backpack). A worker was behind me step by step, taking things away from my hands while I was searching for "eau de parfume" and constantly reccomending cheaper things. It was really irritiating but at the end I bought them. Maybe she was worried I came to steal. Another story, like a month ago my sister went to the designer bags shop and was informed they don't have sale and she needs to go to other shops in the mall.

I've related this story on another channel several years ago, but it's worth retelling. My aunt and a cousin once worked as servers in a diner in the town where I grew up, and one day my cousin waited on this older man who was wearing dirty, faded overalls with faded, sweat-stained flannel shirt, who had evidently ordered, and eaten, one of the most expensive items on the menu, and then paid with a check. My cousin, because of the way he was dressed, didn't think the check would be any good, but went to my aunt to ask her if she thought it should be taken. It turns out, he was not only the president of one of the local banks (and cofounder of that bank) but also owned one of the largest ranches in the area, and he'd been out mowing his hay. The check definitely WAS good. That was my cousin's first lesson in not judging a book by its cover (and a lesson for the rest of the cousins when the incident was related to us).

My friend worked short time in one of shop selling denim. Workers there get bonuses depending on their takings. Right before Christmas they had lots of customers. She was shy and new one so she was ordered around by olders. She was sent to the Gypsy man (in my region they are looked down as liars and thiefts, unfortunately often truthtfully) because anyone wanted to "waste" their time to the customer who is "just looking". She was nice to him, showed him lots of things. He bought jeans for all family, she had more takings then rest of workers together and got extra bonus.

I've heard that in some places (I believe it was said about a store with luxury bags targeted to middle class?) they act that way on purpose to make you spend more money to prove that you have it. The OP story here with the most expensive ring is a good example of how that might work...

The husband getting snubbed by the athletic club reminds me of an incident at our favorite restaurant many years ago. After a long, stressful week, we decided to eat dinner out Saturday at a nice Italian restaurant but didn't feel like dressing up. After being seated by the hostess, we overheard our waiter trying to switch tables with another waiter and complaining that he wouldn't get a decent tip because we were dressed in sweats. The waiter who took our table for him was very gracious, friendly, efficient and provided excellent service. (He had seen us there before but hadn't waited on us yet.) While we weren't wealthy, we could easily afford to dine at that restaurant fairly often, and as a former waitress I believed in tipping generously for good service. The original waiter missed out on the 50% tip we gave our server, all because of his snobby attitude - BIG MISTAKE 😄😅 The astonished look on his face when our server showed him the tip was absolutely PRICELESS! 😄😂 When we returned to that restaurant a few weeks later, we had a wonderful waitress. The young man who waited on us before was working a different section but came by to chat a bit and reported that the other waiter had been fired shortly after refusing to serve us - apparently he was snobby with other customers as well and refusing service was the last straw.

I worked as a dietary manager for a nursing home and created the specialty menus for special requirements that included a creamed soup that had over a 1000 calories per serving. This soup was for the extremely elderly and infirm where every calorie you could get into them was important. When the meals were served and cleanup started it was policy to allow extra prepared food to go to staff if they wanted. There was never a great amount and it was first come. There were some really mean and rude nurses so when they came to ask about leftovers I would give them a big bowl of extra extra fatty calories. They loved it and never caught on.

@@Shell_HerbsI def agree with you, but I think in the story that was read in the video, it was done BECAUSE the arsehole men made fun of OP’s friend’s weight. So they were the ones who thought being fat made you gross, lesser, and undesirable. This comment doesn’t have anything like that about the reasoning behind giving the nurses the high calorie soup, and I think it can be inferred that the op of this comment does believe that giving the nurses high calorie food, likely in the hopes that it will make them gain weight, would be a punishment; that having more fat is inherently bad. They should focus on their family first, and their family will probably want someone around who does want kids or does want to take in kids. @@persephonehades7547 Yes. I've known since fifth grade that I don't want kids, and I don't even like being around them. I see them as equals - potential bullies, even. If a kid approaches me, or if a parent insists on getting me to interact with a child, I will do my best to ignore it. I fear kids like some people fear pets. I will never date someone who has kids because I can't provide what kids need. I could easily traumatize a kid without even realizing it. I learned this lesson after watching a baby pull his arms away from me a few days after his mother had asked me to hold him while he was crying. I avoid kids because I respect their need to grow up around safe, loving, comforting adults who want to make them happy. I can't provide what they need because I didn't get it. A coworker once asked me to clean out the microwave after I had heated up some soup in it one day, and it sent me into petty revenge territory. Context: I am very easy going, not hard to get along with, but my coworker was a neat freak. I had covered up the bowl of soup when I heated it and I made sure there weren't any dribbles left or anything like that, so I was confused by her request. How dirty could the microwave possibly be? I opened it and found something like a grain of rice or something like that on the glass plate inside. That was it, the only thing, and it probably didn't even come from me. It was so small I had trouble even seeing the darn thing. The rest of the oven was absolutely spotless, 100% pristine. Not only did she ask me to clean it out, she pointed out that she had brought in her own cleaning supplies for this, she had already cleaned it out several times herself, and she would appreciate it if I used her cleaning supplies and took my turn cleaning it out as well. I said fine and did as she asked. That was the last time I ever used the microwave. I made a point of never touching it again, not so much because of what she asked but how she asked it. There was no negotiating and no discussion and that really annoyed me. The good news is, my coworker only worked in the office a couple days a week. She knew I wasn't using it but she didn't know that every so often, at totally random intervals, I would scoop up a crumb or two and drop it inside the microwave when nobody else was around. She couldn't prove it was coming from me and she couldn't ask me to clean it when I starting bringing in food that didn't need to be warned up. I'm sure it bothered her but if you're going to project your neurosis onto somebody else be prepared for them to turn it right back at you.

I used to work at the call center for a big box store. We all had our own cubicles. I was sat next to an entitled and evil girl. You know the type that is a mean girl in high school. I have been over weight my whole life and struggled and still do with it. She tweeted "not only does my life suck now that sit me by the 500lb woman who doesn't shut up" I had a friend come and let me know about it. I went to management but obviously they can't prove she tweeted it while she was at work. So I asked not to sit near each other and they approved that. Well later on a famous football player called in and everyone was spreading around why he called. BIG BIG NO NO! Well not only did she tweet about it she tagged said football player in the tweet! His PR called the CEO of said company and she got fired. Welcome to karma!!!

I know you can't reveal which big box store. And it's probably not the one I am about to talk about. But I do appreciate you...I once called a Costco call center to see if the gloves I saw at one Costco a month prior were at any of the Costcos in the area. And they were super helpful and not only told me they were in stock, but how many and if there was another shipment on the way, so that I knew if I needed to rush or not. I just wanted to say, if you are like that person and so extremely helpful, then you probably don't get the accolades you deserve. But you are especially helpful to people with social anxiety. I know it's off topic, but I wanted to express some gratitude.

The first story reminds me of a woman I contacted on a dating app (also looking for non-smokers and women without kids). She didn't say about her kids on her profile only later she revealed that she had 3 kids of 2 guys and is still in close contact with one husband (Quote: "I am not looking for a new father, I am looking for someone for me but it must be a relationship"). I immediately told her that I am looking for a relationship with someone without kids and wished her all the best. She immediately started continuing the chat, asking what I am looking for and I replied to her and wished her all the best, which should be a sign that it is all now. However after some messages she decided to accuse me of calling her kids a "Mistake" and that she would regret it (which I never said) and said that she will end this match. That was a very weird conversation and I am happy that I never met the woman.

@@carrieyaj Anecdotally, women more so than men. I'm absolutely not down with he/she will love me and fall in love with my kids, and I think the guy got his just desserts with the wax. Having said that, if a man says he's not looking to date single mothers, that sets off a chain Reeeee! action across the internet. They will come out of the woodwork to shame him, dox him, try to get him cancelled in every way possible. Switch the genders, however, and I see ads and clips almost daily where women are all "hell, no! I'm not looking for a man with kids," and it's fine.

Same happens to my family all the time. We’re from very old money BUT we’ve all gone to Uni and worked our bums off for what we have. We were taught to make our own path. When my parents went to buy a house in 1977, my dad was coming straight from his tool and die business. The realtor wasn’t going to let them in the house! Then my dad said, in front of the owners, ‘what a shame! I planned on paying with cash.’. Turned around to get in his truck and the owners ran up to him saying ‘ignore the realtor, come on in!’. They were appalled at that realtor and fired her. Parents bought the house a month later. 12,000 sq. ft of running wild 😝. I’m still confused on why we needed such a massive house though 🤔

Bad idea to really ever judge the book by the cover. My parents were likely into their early seventies when my Dad had his prize classic car stolen and went out with Mum to buy a new car. Bothe my parents lived to age 95yrs and both of them had ALL their wits about them. My Dad did not relinquish his license until well into his eighties and not because of any mental issues. He gave it up voluntarily because of eyesight problems. They were very financially well off but the salesman at the first car lot they visited made them wait for an extended time and was quite dismissive of them until my Dad lost his temper, gathered up my Mum and left. Straight down the road to the next car lot where he paid cash for a brand new car.

Also, I'm gonna be the one to say the woman who chose to distance herself from an abusive psycho, in whatever way felt best for her...good for her. She did it exactly right. Because she did what she felt was right on her terms. She didn't do anything half-way. It's easy to say "you shoulda" to survivors, and demand extreme justice from them to balance *our own* emotional responses when we read disturbing things other women go through, but we aren't the ones who lived through her trauma. Flicking him like the booger he is, was exactly on point. She's too important and too busy with her new life. We don't waste a moment of the happiness we longed for, chasing down the karma already out for delivery, Beauties. Remember: there's no such thing as an attempted strangling. It takes 60 seconds to cut blood supply between the heart and brain. Men who strangle are the most dangerous types of abusers statistically speaking. That act alone is considered the single most accurate indicator of mortal risk to victims. And there's no way to "attempt" a strangulation. If they put their hands on you like that, that's what it is. That's all I have to say.

Thank you! I've worked in law for 30+ years. For her to go to court and then tell the truth after lying to the attorney is not a good thing. The attorney would be on the defensive and cross examine her to an extent that could be traumatizing, considering her experiences with him. An experienced criminal defense attorney will know how to push all her buttons. Her showing up could also be interpreted in his twisted mindset, that she still cares for him, no matter what she testifies to. She could end up for a years-long stalking case. Her not showing up sends a clear message that he is no longer of any importance to her and she has moved on.

Personally when I was younger I did the same thing. One day my mom, sister, and I were in my moms room trying on clothes. They both comment that I am gaining weight and that my sister is looking thinner than me. Up until then I had been pretty happy with how I looked and thought I was thin enough. I let the comments slide but secretly decided to get back at them. I started revenge baking. Cookies, muffins, cakes, and more. I gave them 6 large cookies in one sitting and piled on more when they finished. I made sure to bake them their favorites that I personally didn’t care for, so I wouldn’t ruin my own health. They gained 15 lbs in a few weeks and i kept this up for a month. The next time we all tried on clothes they did not mention anything about weight. I didn’t tell them until many years later. To me it was petty ❤

I appreciate people who indicate their lack of interest in parents on dating sites. It eliminates them before I waste my time and money on them. I’m a dad and I love my kids so if that’s a problem for you then we don’t need to inconvenience each other. Thank you for your honesty and I wish you well. Toodles. (I don’t really use toodles but it strikes me as petty so it fits. 😉)

How are your daughter and new grandson doing, David??

@@lisamelroy2855 both are doing very well, thank you for asking! We’re still in the NICU since he was born so early (30 weeks and 5 days) but he is making great progress and getting stronger every day. My daughter is still sore/healing from the C-section but she’s so strong and brave! They have great bonding times and she is able to feed him (through a tummy tube but it’s her milk) so things are going great! Thank you again for asking! (I could talk about them all day.)

For any of my fellow Charlotte Dobre fans who are also big people (or fat'n'sassy) - the cute crop Petty jacket does go up to a 4XL, but it was still really tight on me. (Not super comparable with a Torrid 4X crop, for example, especially if you have a somewhat apple-shaped body - always tricky with a crop anyway.) I'm so sad it doesn't fit, because it is super soft and pretty pricey for the quality.

Just wanted to say you are so awesome.! I had a dream with you in it and I said "Hey.!! It's Charlotte Dobre.!!" You looked at me and just said "Good work" and walked away. I know better that if I actually got to meet you you would be such a nice person. ❤

The girl at 5:43 who got beaten by her ex that wound up in jail was not petty. She was nice. Petty would have been to agree to testify on his behalf then get on the stand and proceed to tell the judge every disgusting, hurtful, criminal thing he ever did to her. Then flip him the bird when she walked down from the stand or out the courtroom...which ever she could get away with.

For the girl who didn’t vouch for his ex and he got deported: I would have gone down to vouch for him but then flipped the script and told them how horrible he was and what he did. 😂

Charlotte, you should sell Petty PHD keychains in your store! I'd buy one! 😂

No she shouldn't, because another longstanding creator who has been selling Petty related merch longer than Charlotte has a longstanding Petty University/Professor Petty branding and that would feel gross. And while I do think it's possible two creators can come up with similar ideas, that would be a complete line cross and I would lose respect for Charlotte at that point since I know she's been made aware of this.

Uh-oh... I'm a real-life PhD (an author and FT graduate school professor) with so little free time, YET there's just something about Charlotte that brings me such joy I can't stay away.😂 Is it a sign of addiction that when I came to YT to reward myself for completing a work-related task, it felt like I'd hit the jackpot seeing she'd just posted this vid an hour ago? Fresh! #prayforme

Children were a deal breaker for me too. I was messaged by this really nice guy with a kid who had common interests with me. He told me on our first messaging convo. He would occasionally message me...while I was messaging other guys...lol, something light hearted and friendly. We celebrate our 15th wedding anniversary next month. Yeah, the whole kid thing was even worse than I anticipated and he even said he didn't know why I stayed around because the situation was extreme, but I'm glad I didn't let the kid deter me from being with my forever person. If he hadn't been upfront, I would have never given him the time of day. Also...the kid is now grown and moved on...thank goodness. The moral of the story: don't lie and keep your nut hair. You may still get your person.

I watch Charlotte because she has a great personality, and watching her show feels like a visit from a friend. Her weight is irrelevant to any of that. Her sassiness, is a reason to watch her. ❤

There was a time me and my mom were shopping at the mall for our trip to Greece to visit our family. We stopped in a store that was a little pricey to see what they had (can’t remember the name of the store) we saw a beach bag that was kinda cute and wanted to ask about if it closed or had pockets or something, right away she thought we were about to ask about the price and when she realized that we weren’t she acted all sweet and helpful. We thanked her and didn’t buy a thing from the store, not because it was pricey but because the stuff in that store didn’t look good at ALL especially for their prices. It’s funny that I’ve seen things that are expensive that look like crap and stuff that’s a lot cheaper that looks amazing
