Great to see Jaime getting the airtime he deserves!

Finally, a channel where we get non-stop, uncut Jaime tutoring on all the nitty gritty details and things to keep in mind when you're building a house! What would be even better is if you could just download everything onto a honking thumb drive and upload it into my brain so I wouldn't have to listen to all of it! But seriously PLEASE load this channel up with videos quick, cause I start building my house next summer.

Great video and hits all the high points with a couple Pro-Tips added for good measure. Here's a new phrase for your wood-finish viewers; FOR CLEANABILITY USE MATTE NOT FLAT." It goes well with your "Matte is where it's at" idiom. You covered this on the other channel, but this goes well with this topic. Some doors are labeled "Solid Core", however they aren't all solid with the same top material. You showed a pine veneered door that had a core made of particle board or a similar product that sometimes needs a little sanding. In those cases you may need a very light coating of an oil-based finish to seal the veneer, sand it lightly then finish it with the final coats of water-based poly. Again, this is a great pro-tip from your other channel that goes well with this topic. Jamie: Great job on this video and you covered all the bases very well and didn't go overboard like I sometimes do (can you tell with these comments?).

Jamie, Eric and Crew, Fantastic and Timely Topic‼️ Buddy and I are stripping and redecking his boat dock and investigating stain/sealer for the P Treated 5/4 deck boards. We need something that will last so when it has to be done next time; the kids and grandkids can cook in the hot, 95*, Humid, Heat and get bounced around by boat waves 🌊 as if we are on a trampoline‼️UGH‼️‼️ Blessings for Yall from Gainesville Georgia ‼️ Still gonna make it up there and bring some Jawja Nectar🔨🧰🪚
