I cant take tylenol or aspirin or any of these types of meds . I have had bad reactions . migraines with extreme neck pain too and flu like symptoms . I do much better on Privigen. I have been getting it since 1992 when I was in the first study done for Dermatomyositis and Polymyositis . It worked to get my muscles back to about 75 per cent . I could not eat or drink or talk much before the research study . Even when I was on many immune suppressant drugs . IVIG was a miracle for me !

What sort of testing must be done to have insurance cover the IVIG treatment ,if even just cover it temporarily ?

I am struggling with recurrent infections worse so in the winter such as flu and pneumonia and getting worse every year - I have at least 1 infection (sinus or chest/lung every month and long lasting infection, MyIGA is low and IGM is getting low too but still normal and IGG is good - Not sure what to do, tried to get my GP to speak to immunologist to see what are th reasons of the my celiac disease and low IGA but nothing still :-( Great vid too,

Are you trying to get IVIG and they won’t do it? If the IGG is normal they usually refuse to pay for the IVIG (insurance). I have celiac disease and like you I get a lot of infections especially pneumonia, sepsis X 4, and GI infections and a ton of hospitalizations. I had to get the pneumonia vaccine and do the pneumonia vaccine challenge because my IGG and subclasses were low but not low enough. When I failed the challenge I was approved for IVIG and I get them every 4 weeks through a central line. If you haven’t gotten your pneumonia vaccine and done the vaccine challenge it can be hard to get insurance to approve it.

Indian madams are always beautiful but most beautiful are their brains because since childhood they learn to meditate and cook the difficult theories of medicine and science into a palatable dish so that every one can understand it without the difficult scientific jargons.
