I can see old ugly buildings going down and new modern structures coming up. Everywhere is taking shape indeed, but shanties, especially around main market must be pulled down to increase the esthetics of the city. Pressure should be mount on the residence to ensure they play their part in making the city clean and sparkling. Street trading must be discouraged, everywhere can't be market. Sand excavators must be moved to Ogbaru area, the city has grown beyond that kind of activity to be find within the city centre

Very good observations and suggestions. Government by now needs to map out a workable solution on environmental cleanliness. Still remembered in the early inception of this administration how public places in Anambra became refuse dumb site overnight blocking the movement of vehicles. That was a bad sign.

Onitsha is a beutifull time, but need an environmental friendly governor who can clear the set backs and shanties,to make the city neat. Above all , immediate deployment of sweeping 🧹 mechanisms of onitsha road,.One hardly see a clear black colour of nylon tile on Onitsha roads.. Sanitation has always been problem in this vibrant city since 2000.

Wonderful. If Igala people settled first, the native language there should be Igala. Not the other way round

@mebofrankline, the only thing that identifies who you are is your language and dressing. No tribe ever lost the two. Igala people are still part of Anambra state along Anambra east or west towards the north. They never lost their language or dressing till date
