Amazing isn't even a good enough word to describe this girl. Her colors are some of the prettiest you can find for a reef tank, but she is very hard to take care of at times. Her diet is very specific and must be met for her to thrive in your tank.

I got my hands on a 1” juvie Blue star yesterday and I’m so excited to watch her grow. I’ve started her out in my 20g Nano to get/keep her eating and help her grow out before going in with a Scott’s, Jade and radiant wrasse

Fish in general don’t want to starve to death. I had a copperband I tough to eat freeze dried food, which I put on automated feeder, so I wouldn’t worry

Trelopoulos That’s exactly what it is! And he did really well in it. It wasn’t too thick, so he could easily dive under the sand when scared. Plus those colors really POP on that black sand.

What are the white dots on the wall? I have them on my 20 gallon and I had them on a different tank and one day I noticed them moving and next thing you know I had copepods! I dont see these moving though and I left them there for a while them finally scrapped off and they are coming back. My lfs has one of thes females I almost bought today but I also just got some nudi's today so didn't want o risk it eating them but after aptasia is gone I am definitely wanting to try one. Will they be compatible with a sixline? If I cant get her to eat mysis can I just add copepods?

Hey Everybody... ( In my Brock voice) Brock, I purchased a Leopard Wrasse and I just waned to know, how do you recommend cleaning my sand bed? I typically siphon my sand substrate with a vacuum attached to a faucet & held at an angle for better tumbling of the sand. I don't want to hurt this little guy. Any ideas?

Before cleaning, I tend to run my hand gently under the sand until I find where he is laying and try to sift around him. This can spook him, but it is much better than hitting him with the tube causing more stress.
