I've gone Keto too and it's the best lifestyle change I've made. It's great to see how you make it work with the cruising lifestyle. I don't drink beer or wine anymore but enjoy the odd rum or vodka with soda water. You might find locally (Caribbean) made butter in some of the islands further south or Central America, and they would likely be grass fed cows. I haven't spent much time down there lately, so I don't know for sure, but I'd ask around.

OMG - you two make me so happy! I'm one of those crazy people who absolutely love grocery shopping. I enjoy it when you show your in-store/provisioning runs, tease us with your purchases and give your take on what shops to visit. I'm excited you were able to find "the" coconut bread! Funny thing is as I type this I have my ingredients out to make some coconut bread of my own (but the sweeter cake-like version). I'm sure all will agree: you are doing this for the adventure and the experience, so absolutely, eat and experience the bread guilt-free! "Into The Blue" - as in the Paul Walker and Jessica Alba movie? LOL... I find it entertaining, but mainly for the underwater scenes - I love the water as much as you two :) I agree with what most others have said here too - your vids keep getting better and better! I loved the touch at the end as you're eating your 'Caribbean-French Toast'... the camera was gently rocking back and forth with the movements of the boat! Peace and much love!

I'm so proud of you kids for being smart and not drinking booze. I was stuck in the bottle for many years. Went I was 13 and 14 it was cool to drink but then as I grew into my 20's the fun had wore off. But then we had our boys come along so I stopped drinking to raise them. But the day our youngest turned 16 I walked over to the store and got me a bottle and started making up for lost time... It didn't take long till I was back being drunk every night. I lost the respect of my boys but I didn't care my love was to the booze but it wasn't fun I just like how it made all the uglies in my life not matter... Well all things come to an end one night in a drunken blackout I tried to end my own life, thank God my wife and youngest son were there to stop me. They told me what I had done the next morning... I call my union and they got me into a 28 day rehab center. I tried to stop drinking on my own but it didn't work. So with the help of the rehab I had a plan and a goal. Well praise God and the tables of AA it's been 17 years and this time my head is on straight. When I stopped drinking to raise my kids I did it for them. I couldn't wait for them to grow up so I could get back to my drinking... This time I did it for me, Also this time I added a new friend into my life. I now have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ HE has given my what I've look for for so many years. I even have peace in my heart and mind today, I got a bran new life... Be blessed kiddos, much love and prayers... BBE...

Always enjoy your video's. No quilt with the coconut bread. Shock carbs are good once in a while. But for me even better, is your casual remark "We don't drink" that moved you up the list. I heard you mentioning that you'd be heading to PR, and probably hoping to avoid The Thorny Path problems eg bashing into the tradewinds. I have no idea where you actually are but thought I'd mention an alternative. One alternative that I have heard about to get to the Spanish Virgins or USVI is called the I65 route (interstate 65). Essentially means that from around Georgetown you wait for a high heading to FL that will first bring the winds first out of the north. With these winds you head East or ESE until you get to w longitude 65 deg ( same as St Thomas). The winds from the high will clock from north , then from west, allowing you a few days to get to 65 deg w longitude, then will peter out and the tradewinds from the east will take over and allow for a reach to St Thomas or Spanish Virgins. This open ocean route takes 5-6 days and avoids the Thorny Path with its issues around the DR, limited sailing time per day sailing/motoring east along the S coast of PR. MJ Sailing on KZbin did this route about 1 yr ago and provide a much better explanation. You do have to be comfortable with 5-6 days at sea, most of it out of sight of land.
@BeauAndBrandy5 жыл бұрын
Hey Douglas!! We are heading toward Puerto Rico now. We decided that the windward path south of DR was our best path. More spots to tuck into and we are already on THIS side so we can head straight south if need be for any storms that may pop up.
