She was older when she married again.She was pregnant going thru menopause. I remember when Adele an Eva came that day. They asked if A Miss Bell lived here.Momma went and got granny,she knew immediately who they were,tho it had been thirty years or more.Granny was so happy to see them. They formed a good relationship. Sadly Adele was killed shortly after in a car wreck, Eva died with ovarian cancer. She lived to be age 102. Momma took care of her fir many years. I had a good father,who loved my granny, he was always good to her. Laws were made for a reason. I think after this happened, age of consent changed. It was 14 for many years. One thing I've heard that saddens me was how much the relationship destroyed Villi's life chances before he was an adult. He was from a poor immigrant and strictly religious family - the values he was raised with made him feel compelled to do the honourable thing and man up to provide for and to raise the kids Mary Kay conceived probably without his real consent. It was a huge pressure for an underage boy to take on the role of Dad, and it must have robbed him of chances he would have had to grow up and find himself if he hadn't been forced to be a parent too young and without his consent.

A lot of the narrative that somehow aims to minimize or even justify this woman’s vile actions is centered around the fact that she is a woman, and her victim was male. However, it cannot be ignored that a central factor in her (wrongfully!) being deemed as non-threatening (despite LITERALLY SEXUALLY ABUSING A CHILD) was because she’s white and blonde… not to mention that I doubt as much “victim blaming” toward Vili would be taking place if he hadn’t been a child of color.. I could not imagine how someone could work with a 5th grader, and a few years later be screwing him 3.
