Damn, these designs are so cool. I just wish the gameplay felt a bit more like the original trailer. The fact that you can’t die from a monster and they can’t escape to and infect other enclosures (instead just follow a checklist the exact same way for 1 enclosure at a time) really dulls the horror.

This game has potential, but the devs need more time to cook. Personally i am not THAT upset, there is still time to update it. But still, could do a better job with the tension and how the horror is presented, we also need more stakes and a more solid gameplay loop. Design of the parasites and mutated creatures is amazing, though.

I don't thing they are going to work hard to change this game. Probably fix some bugs and glitches and move on to a next game, losing a friend who was working on the game may bring memories... But I really want they to improve this game at least on the animations I like to support small devs and they didn't gave reasons to get so harsh about the game. love the concept of the game and it can get better even with a dlc fixing the story

It would have been cool if you built up relationships with all the zoo animals, and then when the mutant starts to attack you, the animals that you built a good rapport with come help you vs low rapport just run away. Probably a stupid idea if I see it play out… but given how they do nothing it would at least give them a bit of personality beyond different names.

The smaller animals are less creepy and disturbing than the large ones, the moose doesn’t look that disturbing as it’s just its skull splitting open. The penguin just looks like an alien, and the wallaby is a zombie with a belly mouth. The giraffe, zebra, and the gorilla is the most disturbing. The elephant is cool with its’s giant trunk tentacles

I thought for sure the mutation would be fatal, especially considering what the mutation does to the overall appearance and what probably happens inside, once their cured their dead... apparently not.

Counter Point -- for a game about a zoo, I thought it would be cool if we had more time to look at the mutants... like it's a zoo. They put so much into the designs but we don't get to learn a lot about their actual physiology beyond what's visible. I also thought when he fed her the meat, it was meat of infected human -- which is spreading the parasites. Which would mean he infected his wife and daughter with the parasites that plague humanity, which would need to fight and defeat the mother to kill and cure everyone. Maybe in another timeline...
