​@@yusefs3384 Nope, just clever used masking. The text is probably a pre-rendered recording, they just added a mirrored video beneath the text and decided how to mask it, so it doesn't look off. No articial intelligence, just real-time-compositing-magic.

for some weird reason, production related stuff (such as graphics, sound board, stage design) gets me more excited about the contest than most of the songs. the package sort of indicates what direction the organising broadcaster is going in terms of production

Honestly I think that's what they planned to do. I tried to make a concept of the graphic on the sun and it fits perfectly. I am assuming that was the plan but then RAI realized that every artist would need to have the sun at the exact same position, that's why they changed it.

@@sensorbitaccount5222 yeah now, although I think they wanted to use the LED side with the titlecard. But even if the sun was working, not every artist wanted the sun to start at the same position, but that's what the titlecard would have required.

In 2022 grand final the camera that moved over the arena during the stage ready shot broke down, so all we saw was a weirdly positioned static shot of the arena with the stage ready playing

it wasn't... DR was unfortunate in choosing the arena and had the biggest net loss in Eurovision history. 2016 and 2021 had the best production in recent years, whether for innovation or creativity. SVT and AvroTros have know howl and they used.

2013,2014,2016,2019&2021 were amazing with the graphics!!

2006 - Really short, sweet with nice lighting and water animation. 2011 - Drags on and the vocal chop is awkward. I get the feeling they tried to convey the excitement of the show through the heartbeat but it just didn’t work. 2012 - Boring and uninteresting, barely anything happening, matches the dreary atmosphere of the contest that year. 2013 - Lively with nice butterfly effect, Sweden made this show really lively and a breath of fresh air after 2012. 2014 - Nice animation with cool zoom, uses the impressive camerawork of the competition that year effectively. 2015 - A bit plain but the design of the stage helps make it a little less flavourless than 2012. 2016 - Sweden never fails, again with the lovely approach and quick transition. 2017 - This one is very basic, probably the worst. Way too awkwardly quiet too, there’s nothing else besides the crowd noise which makes for no impact. 2018 - Love the water animation and the lighting is timed nice, love that cinematic sound too. 2019 - Easily my favourite. The flag on the roof is a brilliant idea and the transition is short and sweet! 2021 - Benefits primarily from the same flag trick as 2019, but slightly less impressive. Still solid! 2022 - Would’ve been nice if the sun effect was done on the sun with a zoom out, but the animation is clear and smooth, and it’s short and sweet

Before the show I was so much excited about the stage and the waterfalls and green room with plants and the sun. After show : the worst eurovision everrrr!! Just can't say anything but they (mostly ebu) make the best eurovision ever to the worst eurovision ever :)) damn it

Its been said a few times, but the wide angle ceiling camera was broken (there were a lot of technical issues this year). The graphic was meant to be centred on the sun, but as it was broken they had to default to different camera angles. Its really sad so many things went wrong this year, I was rly looking forward to seeing what the rotating star could do but it was very static over the course of the show.

@@atomfusion231 It probably wasn't planned to be aimed at the sun, or at least they realized quickly that that was a dumb idea. Because not every country wanted to position the sun at the same spot that the titlecard would have needed it to be. Also, props and singers would have obstructed the sun.

Loreen said she wanted to have that siren at the start of her song as a pallet cleanser. I noticed myself they did that in the stage ready intro too. It was a great idea - the place it won for beginning every song with the song that brought them there

RAI completely disappointed me this year, I had expectations about everything I would see in Turin and last year's production in Rotterdam went up a notch in terms of the work that would be done. Another sad fact is that although the preparation was excellent, the shows were tiring and were saved by the presenters. Lucky for us, next year the BBC will organize and produce and then it's another level...

By 2015 the opening of each country's performance by combining the Logotype with the country's flag colours was a very beautiful and creative idea! SVT in 2016 did use that only limitedly for the transitions effects whilst the opening for the performances was just the name of the country in different styles and fonts! Since then, this Name - Only tradition was continued in 2017 and 2018 whose graphics lacked of imagination and stylistic designs, unfortunately! The designs in 2019 were much better really, but this was even maintained in 2021! I am afraid that each host broadcaster just "copies" the effects of the previous year and adapts to each year's thematic design, which really from my perspective is a bad habit which destroys the stylistic and design effect of the contest! I understand that each graphic design is unique and creative in its own way, however if this Country Name - Only presentation is maintained, the song contest will reduce its impressive - effect physis! Each Year's edition should be unique in terms of creativity and really resemble the host country. Please, having almost the same pattern every year, for God's shake, shows really a very amateurish job in terms of the production, which projects a very negative image for the hosting country! Just imagine the low production quality of Turin 2022! Italy really lost the chance for promoting their beautiful country, by just creating a show which did not bring anything that Italy has been known for! Please, make the contest creative and beautiful again! Not just producing shows that do not resemble the desingful part of the contest!

2022 is kinda similar to 2018 and it is nothing special. I also realised there are so many elements of the stage that are already used before. Ect. water in 2014 stage, triangle floor and side catwalks in 2019, that kinetic sun looked like staging for Germany in 2018, also those background lights that were in Spains performance were similar in 2018 stage ect. Melovin. It is kinda unoriginal when i think about it.
