Looks like Duelist of the Roses is getting cracked open even further. I remember when you said fusing rituals with monsters and changing a card's effects wasn't really doable. I can only imagine the trouble it took to make such things possible. But breakthroughs like this means the modding community is now getting closer and closer to being able to change almost any aspect about the game and I'm honestly here for it.

This is incredible! The QoL changes alone are reason enough to try this out. The only thing we still need is an improved AI. The game isn't the hardest as it is, with the balance changes without some harder AI I feel it will be even easier to steamroll through the campaign. Giving all opponents deckmaster K's AI helps a little but he too falls into patterns and does stupid stuff. Also we need Emperor of Land and Sea to get a power up on wasteland and Ocean.

I’m gonna have a guess and say that ritual fusions only work with the monsters actually named on the ritual card themselves. Managed to get me some cosmo queen’s prayer and princesses for an easy turn 1 cosmo queen

not all the cards are in the slots, but there are more cards in the slots like skull knight, summoned skull, toon summoned skull, and more. some might surprise you!

@@ClovissenpaiDotR I got royal decree from 3 pumpkings in the slot reels. And I've been farming weevil for some larva of moth, cocoons and some larvae moth. It feels pretty good now ! I've made a savestate before reincarnating royal decree, and I got widespread ruins, copycat and carat idol. Of course it was just a test, but it's pretty cool.

I don't know if this is the place for it, but I'd like to report a bug: None of the cards updated to now say "strong in Toon Terrain", that didn't before, actually are, and in fact are powered down by it as always. (Baby Dragon, Thousand Dragon, Winged Dragon Guardian of the Fortress, etc.)

I got a blue eyes white dragon when reincarnating a 50DC card. (time seal that I never use anyway) Now at the end of the game, I did 3 skull knights in a row and got mirror force. ^^

recently downloaded this and i love it....particulely how you expanded what abilities deck masters have...ive already seen a big improvement in immortals when i dueled against that deck with Moisture creature... do you happen to have a list of all the changes to deck leader abilities? (particularly winged beast,immortal,fairy and warrior)

I would agree, crush card is more busted than any other terrain because it kills off non-immortals outright. But there's other busted af cards too and the game as a whole looks great, so I'm excited nonetheless.

is there a way to get Field spells easier? the mod has had getting them through reincarnation borderline impossible. I've been reincarnating for 2 + hours and only seen two field spells. Also, fusing rituals is a really good mechanic but maybe change Weevils deck to not be able to fuse a 2950 atk monster on turn one. Javalin beetle. He is one of the first duels in the game.

Yes, everything in all cards mod is either as easy to get as vanilla, or easier. Also, Weevil cant fuse 2950 on turn one because Hercules Beetle is a 5 star monster, so that's not a thing. He can play it on turn 2, only if he opens without playing a 3 or 4 star monster and then happens to have Hercules Beetle and a ritual in his hand on turn 2. Which isn't really any different than him opening with something like Giant Flea with any number of equips which he can in vanilla anyways after 3 wins on your file.

@@ClovissenpaiDotR I used codes to get eradicating spray and used that xD. Guess i've been unlucky when he fusion summons javalin beatle early turns. Its also really nice to get pupa moth. I Got extra field spells by codes and trades. Would i have to reincarnate a DC of 50 to get field spells. Ever thought of adding your own starter deck on to the mod? Ritual Starter Deck?

Not played since 2020 during the pandemic, saw this video and patched right away. Very nice changes, already got a Nekogal#2 with reencarnation 😮 will keep on playing, lost my first game vs Tea haha. I dont know anything about mods and technical stuff but could it be possible to make changes such as the enemy deck leader, for example labrynth ruler having gate guardian as his deck leader, just to add more flavor to the game.

When i finished the game and unlocked the "free duel" i went and dueled kaiba and while i was in the middle of the duel i got a blue-eyes ultimate dragon for free. Is there any more secrets in the mod or only this one?

You got that via Hidden Card. Hidden Card always existed in the game, there is a hidden card on every single map in the campaign. That's a feature from vanilla but i changed the cards to be better ones

ooohh this looks very interesting but im playing a modified version that recover the japanese illustrations and models for the cards(like the barrel dragon being actual guns and not laser canons) and i dont know if that will affect this mod to work
