Definitely one for the silver fox generation yesterday as the North West Wander Railtour made three forays around the region’s rail arteries using 7 locomotives.
Yesterday Lostock Hall station was graced by the Hellifield excursion and late last night the Manchester circuit was seen arriving back at Preston double headed by class 37s and the last leg was seen leaving for Crewe powered by two class 20s and a class 45!
