This is such a great lesson on such a difficult topic. At 4:28 I think the only verb that can be considered to have a "complement of result" is 放在 where the verb 放 acts on its object which "results" in a change of location. I think for all such verbs which cause a change of location (or state) on their object, the prepositional phrase describing the new location will appear after the verb. But the object cannot also appear there, and must appear before the verb, using 把. The preposition is not always 在. It can be something else. For example: "he throws the ball into the water" should be: 他把球扔进水里. Unlike the English, the Chinese word order follows the sequence of events. First he takes the ball, then he throws it, then it lands in the water. The other verbs at 4:28 describe where we put our own body. There are many such verbs (e.g. 躺在 "to lie somewhere"), and they include 住在 "to live somewhere" and 呆在 "to stay somewhere". For all such verbs, the prepositional expression describing the location will come after the verb (but I don't think this is any kind of "result"). But if there is a time-duration mentioned, then this time-duration will appear after the verb, and the location expression will move ahead of the verb. There is an example of this at 2:21: 我在美国呆了三个月 "I stayed in the U.S. for three months". Without the time-duration expression, this would be: 我呆在美国 ("I am staying in the U.S.").
