Tips for lucas: -You did well starting on the inside. Keeps from tracking dirt back into the car -try not to use brushes for such large areas like the center console. They’re made mostly for cracks/crevices. Use microfiber ninjas or even a mf towel -use a drill brush to agitate the dirt trapped inside carpet fibers as well. Drills are game changers -try not to use so much product either. A little goes a long way -on the outside; wheels come first. Clean wheels thoroughly and then foam up the vehicle(foaming the wheels is optional at this point) -straight lines only when washing a vehicle. Also, use microfiber mitts. Avoid using brushes on the paint. Paint can be very delicate -when washing in the sun i recommend a drying aid. Superior Formula 4 Spray Wax is economical and helps with the drying process tremendously. Just spray on and rinse off -finally, an often looked over piece of the vehicle that makes a huge difference in the end are door jambs. Dont forget them! Gas caps as well I love your charisma and work ethic. Keep it up bro. We were all in your shoes once. The hardest part of it all is taking the first step and you’ve already done it. Customers will come. Keep your work good and continue perfecting your craft. Soon enough you’ll knock those out in 30-45min.

Other than getting the hose connector turned around (watch out for that one), the machine is simple to put together and use kzbin.infoUgkxfQauTxLT0JLSvqkq10rD79TU4k0Vz8zP . And very nice, too. I'm surprised at the power-it's more than we'll ever need, and we've not even used the most powerful setting yet.I've cleaned off a dirty concrete porch to get it ready for sealing, started to clean siding, and I know this pressure washer will be terrific for cleaning tools this fall. The only issue we had is we had turned around the hose connector, and it leaked. Once it was on correctly, though, we had no problems with the connection. Just remember that the end with the green knob goes towards the hose. It's obvious now what we did wrong, but not necessarily obvious at the time.

Great work to all involved in this verses vid! But a HUGE congrats and props to Lucas! This young man not only did his 1st detail in a competition but he did it by traveling with his equipment basically new in the box (zero setup) AND on video while at H2O ADS‼ 😳🤯😱 He did all this with a smile and even though the stress of it all was there, he stayed positive and kept going. He definitely jumped in the deep end. Its hard enough to do your 1st detail on your own with no one watching or interviewing you. I hope Lucas reads all the positive feedback and knows that he did what alotta folks don't - he made the first big step and went for it. Stay the course young man, keep learning, keep perfecting your craft and you (and your little bro) will make the dream work! And never change that positive attitude!

You never quit your day job until your own business is taking off. You will always know when it's right to throw yourself 100% into your business. I don't remember the person's name with the Corvette I'm just horrible at names. He did a pretty damn good job on that Corvette. It wasn't anything that was completely filthy or sun faded pain he was able to bring back a good looking car that needed a little bit of help. This is the first time I'm watching your video and I most definitely hit the like and subscribe button. I remember my first 2 details, one with and another one without the pressure washer. In the beginning I was scared to wash suv and since I was using the chemical guys hose foam canon and knew nothing bout water spots, I was a mess. Just for the exterior alone it took me 3 and a half hours and that was thanks to me having to redo it cause of the water spots. The interior was fairly quick given that it was dirty, but still took me 1 and a half. When I finally got my pressure washer, I loaded up the Prius, asked my girlfriend at the time to accompany me and it should’ve gone smoothly, but I had no idea what I was doing with the pressure washer. When it came down to the final rinse, the pressure washer was not giving me any water, as if it was clogged or something, needless to say I was panicking. What made it worse was that me and my girlfriend at the time were trying to figure out what was going on, yet we couldn’t really get on the same page, so the client witness us bickering. The whole service was supposed to be a quick 45 minute job, but due to the bickering, pressure washer clogging, and my drop of confidence when I had to wash the car with the hose after investing in the pressure washer, I was there for almost 3 hours. Many hiccups, but so far, even though I’m not at a point where I have a decent client and regulars size, I love the work and I am more confident on what I do and happy with the progress I have made.

Even if I can't ask for service, I support you, Lucas. Starting out isn't always a smooth and easy process. Sometimes it's a struggle long road ahead with lots of failures, but the next thing you know you'll be a very successful entrepreneur. Do not give up, do not get mad or jealous of those who have fancy nice cars/equipment and making more money thank you. Instead of reacting that way, pretend if you have to, approach, be friendly, embrace others' hard work and success and learn to take criticism (positive and negative ones). That's how you learn and grow in life, you already know brother. I am in a very tough situation, I did not anticipate or underestimated. I helped this girl (cancer patient survivor of leukemia with a low immune system) - helped her pay for her hotel for about a month ($100-$140/day) - NO REGRETS , but I thought it was done, NOPE. Had her move in this huge house I rent a room at, I pay $400/m for her on top of food, basic needs etc.. I spent maybe close to $10k and still going. I fucked up my credit card (2 of them), she says I'm on a budget, I say I'm broke lol, can't even save ANYTHING. If I did not help her I would save maybe $15-25k in 3 months, but instead here I am and it's all from a good heart but just didn't anticipate how hard it is to be on a budget/broke and having lots of bills. I sold my first car to get another and use some of the credit for more personal bills, I don't even know what to do anymore. I make $70+k a year, BELIEVE ME, I do not see ANY savings. I am sinking down more and more where I don't eat or drink properly or eat one day and it's junk food lol omg. I can't even tell my mom so I don't worry her but I am crying, I am looking for help but don't know where to go, and I feel stuck but but but I keep grinding, moving forward and I know I can make that 6 figure + income, but this situation is just in the way and I hope I don't lose everything like I almost did my car that I use for Uber. It can be worse Lucas, people with money do not mean they are not struggling. It can be the complete opposite of someone who is poor/average because of the expenses they have taken and then something happens and you either lose all or struggle to maintain to the point you suffer inside and out mentally and physically.

Hmm a few noticable points to consider 1. Lucas did a sedan while Alex did a coupe. 2. The Honda was likely dirtier than the Corvette. 3. Lucas worked in direct sun which requires more attention to water spots, vs in the shade. 4. Lucas had to stop to fix his setup which ate up time. 5. Lucas still needs more detailing experience. All in al they both did a great job. As long as the customer is content then we're all satisfied. But we do have to hand it to Lucas for completing it on a timely manner given the fact that it's his first car 😅
