CX is hands-down the most fun I've ever had on a bike. It's just ridiculous and silly and the dumbest thing, and I love it so much. You absolutely crushed it - still being able to run those stadium stairs near the end was EPIC! Way to go!

Awww thanks. It was the scariest part for me to commit to trying a flying remount hahaha The tarmac made me nervous so execution was not great. But grass made me think less!

At the end of the day it doesn't matter unless you had fun. Ive had fun racing for decades and still do on occasion. I race 2 long mtb races every year and a poker run. Those are a blast but just being on the bike at anytime is a blessing. The other day i rode in 6" of snow and even tho it was a bit harder, i still had the time of my life. Great race Lo. Im so glad you enjoyed it and i cant wait to see the next one and like Syd and Macky says " dont forget to be more awesome". 👍👊💪

Any races in the snow? I'd love to try some CX, but its a 3+ hr drive to the nearest events in Portland/Seattle. and, well... I really don't like mud. and there's plenty of it on the wet side of the mts.

This particular series had seen it all. It was wild that we had dry course. You’d have a blast. Mud does seem icky but adds a whole different element of fun and surprises. I felt like I was in mud with my tire choice 🤣🤣
