You are an absolute fucking beast of descender. That was crazy! You were dropping so many people in less-than easy muddy conditions. That was awesome!

You can race and make a video, just one sign of how much skill You have. I really appreciate you capturing what is happening mid pack in the race. I experienced my self back in 2018 by starting in the back with my wife and working my way up to mid pack. It was surprising how many strong riders that are clueless to the fact that they can’t ride downhill. And all they need to learn is bike body separation and they would quickly improve.

Dear Lo, You passing all those bikers on the left was awesome! Skill level post-Africa, even more impressive!!! I have already signed the number 1 fan card! 🤩🤩🤩

Finally got to watch it and finally here to comment. I’m just so proud of you for getting out there despite how absolutely annihilated you were from that cold. You’re amazing, can’t wait to see the next one.

Omg, i was SO frustrated at people not letting you pass! So rude! Amazing to see you tackle this ride, Lo! You're a beast!!! 🎉🎉🎉

I'm glad most people let her pass, that was an incredibly frustrating segment where she was stuck behind those riders (on an admittedly not very easy to let someone pass piece of singletrack)
@AileenBaker2 ай бұрын
@kenanjones3481 I'm glad too. It seems like for the most part people are cool, but when they aren't, it's frustrating to watch!
@LoSendquest2 ай бұрын
Gosh wait until next episode. I don’t think I got the best segments of passing shenanigan frustrations on camera. But there are still some quality blocking segments I did catch. It was BRUTAL

@@LoSendquest UGH!!!! I hate that for you SO MUCH. I wish people didn't mildly suck sometimes.

It was really interesting though to compare the amateur riders here to the pros in Syd & Macky's videos, where the amateurs seem to be much more reluctant to let anyone pass and the pros seem to be much better about it. Wonder if it's partly a lack of confidence in bike handling in addition to the pettiness.

Awesome job Lo love to see an amateur rock it, eometimes I forget how hard these races are watching the professionals do it

Definitely understand having an A race stuck in your mind full time. I have a self designed challenge in April next year, 100 miles and 16k climbing. Even now, five months out, I'll wake up at night and start visualizing parts of the trail; downhills, rocks, and the hike-a-bikes. The route is on our local 50/100 mile trail run course, doing it week after the race. I rode the 50 miles in 2023, was injured in '24, and am planning to double up for a full crazy 100 miles in 2025.

Awesome decending Lo! You rock!! I can sympathise with the gravel climbs this is one of my weaknesses. I do work on it but have a chronic disease that just seems to hold me back. Love your honesty in your films. Looking forward to your day two film 🎉 Ps what's the name of your lovely doggo?

no need to apologize passing blocking riders! If you are faster, and the trail ahead is clear.....the rider in front can be in control and choose a passing point. IF not....pass when you can

Hey Lo - your distance conversion is a little off there… 16.42 miles = 26.43 kms ( you had me going there, I had to check on it….) Awesome descending - you are super fast, just fearless…
@LoSendquest2 ай бұрын
Dammit America!!! You’ve failed me with not teaching me metric. I probably wrote the conversion down sloppy - thanks for the detail call out, I’ll be better ❤️
