I have made pancakes both ways but have a huge Costco bag of mix that needs to be used up. Gideon just wants to be famous. I love how excited Steven gets when he tastes things. If he ever wants to change occupations, he could be a food critic with his perfect explanations. I love this format!!

Mandy and Steven, you always bring joy when I see you interacting together. First of all, Steven is such a sweet kind man, he is loving and always complimenting you. You are very lucky to have found your soulmate. You remind me of the love my great-grandparents share. They were together for 79 years, she died at 99 years old, and he died a few months later, 10 days away from his 100th Birthday, because he could not live without his wife in his life.

I'm a crybaby when it comes to loss of animals - I have know in my heart you will find another kitty to fill your hearts. When we loss our Min Pin it took us 3 years before we could know it was time to open our hearts to a new puppy and she has filled ours and all of our friends hearts as well. Wish I could wrap my arms around your family for hugs. No animal will ever replace Gracie but some day it will help fill that empty space. Love to you all.

We live in Evansville, Indiana where the USA’s largest street fair is held the first full week of October. It’s been going on over 100 years. Rides, foot booths and gams. They also have a 1/2 pot drawing. This year it reached over 2 million $. All proceeds from the fair are dispersed throughout the tristate area to non profit organizations. Talk about food heaven!

It's just nice to see you guys again, no matter what format you use. I ike them both. I've made scratch pancakes forever using Nigella Lawson's recipe. I keep a huge batch of the dry ingredients in my pantry mixed up and ready,fpr the wet to join on pancake day. Makes its easier. And the dehydrated buttermilk works just s well as the liquid added in right with the dry in my pantry

My Mom always made homemade pancakes or waffles, so I use her recipe. Our family loves breakfast for dinner, pancakes or waffles, fried eggs, sausage or bacon and fried potatoes.

Great video…..when I was young, my mother almost always made pancakes for Sunday breakfast. I have no idea how she did that AND got to Sunday school and church. When my boys were little we almost always had pancakes on Saturday because I couldn’t do Sunday and get to Sunday school😂😂. I made them in the blender, the same way she did, one egg and enough milk to reach the one cup line on the blender, one cup self rising flour, less than a teaspoon of sugar and maybe a little bacon grease. Whirl until mixed and cook. The first one was always for our dog, Misty, because it wasn’t so pretty…..😂to make them a little more special cinnamon could be added. Great memory! Thanks❤

Oh yum. My family will love the Mongolian beef over some rice. I eat it just like that, too, in the lettuce wrap. It's healthier and sure it taste good too. I wonder how it would taste with cheese added to it. Every time I mentioned cheese or go to use cheese at home. Gracie comes to my mind. Gideon, which is in the Bible. I forgot what Gideon does. I know he's an angel. But the neighbor cat Gideon knows Gracie is gone. So he comes to give you guys comfort. I hope to see more of him. He will probably eat cheese, too. That's if the neighbors are ok with it.

I've been making homemade pancakes for years. They're so much tastier than a box mix with way better ingredients. I've recently discovered that you can mix up the dry ingredients ahead of time and keep it in the pantry, which makes for a huge time saver when you want to make pancakes. I'm so proud of you for expanding on your baking skills. Little baby steps is all it takes, and you'll be a master baker before you know it! Keep it up girl!!!

You are such a beautiful young lady with a beautiful family. Your pancakes worked out wonderfully. I'm 70 and started baking my myself from scratch when I was 9. I love your channel angel girl. 😇 but I've never seen you cook anything from scratch. Got to make your broths from scratch, at least! Save all onion skins top & root end. Throw them in the freezer. Grow your own garlic. So easy. Save carrot peels. Save roasted chicken bones. Throw them all in the freezer. When you have a grip of them, simmer it all, & throw it in the freezer. Buttermilk pancakes look delicious. Mandy now make your own mix. Add dry ingredients to Mason jar or small canister jar and attach recipe to add wet ingredients. Powdered buttermilk is available in most grocery stores. Then you just add water, eggs and vanilla. (not as good as fresh buttermilk) But it does work. Cook the entire sausage package then freeze patties for another day. Toss in microwave while you fry egg or make toast. Quick and doesn't smell up the house again. Wow the chicken looked delicious. Steven has the grill cooking down pat. Thanks Mandy I enjoyed the video.

Mine has a twirl pattern around the stick and under the top candle "cradle", there are leaves and the very bottom has a leaf design around it!!!! I really didn't want to paint it, so I glued a metal bird cage on it that my sister gave me. I will be gluing some grass in the bottom of the cage and make a nest with some birds glued to the nest. And Gideon is a nice guardian angel. 🤗 ❤

When Steven was common tatern’ the chicken, his eyes were so excited as he was waving the knife around!! 😂. Had me laughing out loud!
