And it's not even blockable i guess, Yahaba could theoretically one-shot any Hashira is he managed to hit them with arrows. Such luck he was an idiot and just sped up useless balls.

HK's new new guardbreak combotime is really dangerous actually, under some circumstances he can TOD x1.25 and x1.20 and without boost, surge or ult. I've been experimenting with the new TOD potential since that does chip damage on block and less scaling than a hit.

this game is good but I don’t think it relies too much on teams (like jump force etc), some are better than others but none of them standout too bad

I get that it may not be as important cause most characters are fairly balanced but I do think the some combos are stronger than others or maybe go into how different combos could heighten your play style

Best point picks atm is ED Zenitsu, Giyuu, Nezuko or Tengen, while Anchor picks is either Zenitsu, Water Tanjiro or Murata depending on playstyle or combo routes. But picking Murata as your Anchor opens up more character picks though, characters that are good while working on their combo game alone like Makomo or Shinobu works well with him. But i've seen the one most used right now is Giyuu/ED Zenitsu so i'll go with that.

@@MalikNcookies in my experience he’s never been popular enough to be a problem to anyone besides launch maybe? his neutral has never been that good and that’s way more important than health multipliers, most of the roster are two or three touch characters anyway

EXACTLY! Bro I was on the verge of breaking my controller with the fact that my favorite Hashira to play, sucked ass. Even though Rengoku and Giyu were significantly better at the time. I'm glad Shinobu got buffs to make her a way better character. Also I liked playing Makomo too, so... that set me up for a lot of skill-based matches and I got my ass kicked playing those two. I'm glad the Hinokami Chronicles Team gave those two some buffs.

Rengoku on B? Bro if you use all his specials at once without any regular attacks, he destroys almost half your health, like what

The reason he is B teir is that hes very unsafe. Yeah, he has some of the best damage output in the game, but if your enemy blocks them, youre wide open with no way to cancel them. You need to either keep spamming skills, which drains meter, or use an assist unless to either follow up or escape. He is a very expensive character, both in meter and assist. The S and S+ teirs are more resourceful, being less meter-hungry and being more safe to use. Trust me, i wish he was S.

I would love to see you take sabito into some online matches and see what he does. Or have one of your competitive friends pick him and just go some rounds with sabito. I haven’t played after the patch but if all that changed is he got faster, I think you’re sleeping on him. Not mad about it though, I get it. Not complaining, just challenging you to try him out, then I might learn some things as I main him 😂😂

Something I've noticed in a huge difference between Zen and ED Zen, is that Original Zenitsu has much better technique Synergy, whereas the new one struggles to synchronize his own abilities, hit ultimates, and do even 40% of the enemies health. To me at least, Normal Zenitsu is far superior ability wise than ED Zenitsu.

That's interesting! I prefer ED Zenitsu way more especially after these buffs. I can usually do an up combo to Special, and then Tilt Special back and forth easily for max damage. If someone is pressuring me, I can push block into the Gaurd Special and can go into offensive more easily. I agree that Ults can be harder to hit from a combo and so I usually do either of my specials once into Ult

I disagree heavily with Nezuco Advanced demon form I went to very hard AI and put entertainment district Tanjuro and zenetsu multiple times and still bodied them. Her grab is amazing if you use it properly and as soon as they get up, you can start combos

As a sakonji main, no one really fall into trap in a more experienced matches. Anyone who needed three traps must just be bullying/trolling new inexperienced player who walk their character like a toddler.

You can still get some use out of them, I’ve noticed a ton of players still dash into my trap during round start, but yeah it’s tricky to use them effectively and a lot of their use on neutral comes down to luck, and a lot of folks still fall for trap resets
