Finally someone doesn't praise Battlefroont 2005 to the skies because being blinded by nostalgia. I mean, it was my favourite game as a kid, but lets face it, it's not flawless by any means. The singleplayer campaign and galactic conquest were gold, but the multiplayer battles were really unbalanced - it was 2005 though, but it was still very annoying how friendly fire was active, and half of the deaths were from friendly grenades and missiles. Also toxic people kept killing flag carrier/hero teammates just out of frustration. Bf 2017 is much more polished, to say the least.

battlefront 2 2017 is better than fallen order in my opinion. I played both of them and have been playing bf2 for 2 years but once I finished fallen order I was kinda done with it.

her is my view(btw I love all of the games) 4-Squadrons, 3- Battlefront 1 2- Fallen Order 1- Battlefront. Also, there should be 1 to 3 big star wars games like battlefront 2, 4 to 6 medium six games like fallen order, and a bunch of small niece games like squadrons, and some mobile games sprinkled in.

@@mtmn4759 Battlefront 2's servers are working, but live service ended. No more content and bugfixes. We can play the game, since the servers are still live (and hopefully will be for a few years to come), but we can't expect anything new.

Battlefront 2 takes the cake...Fallen Order is a single player game that nobody talks about anymore. Unlike Battlefront 2, it sits very low on my list of Star Wars games.

I’m completely agree with you on Jedi: Fallen Order. It is my favorite Star Wars game of all time and one of the few games I’ve 100% completed. I also replayed the game twice, once on Jedi Master difficulty and then on Jedi Grand Master. It was hard at times but it was a thrilling experience right the way through and the game never had a dull moment. I love the lore and characters in this game. Seeing new planets like Zeffo and Bogano while also seeing familiar planets like Ilum and Dathomir was amazing. I really hope we get a sequel to this game because I just want more content.

I feel like squadrons is a game I really want to like because I love the idea of starfighters. However, it just gets pretty stale because despite the variety in ships and weapons there is not enough maps or modes.

Its to slow for me, i dont like that the dog fighting is all at a distance either. I know a lot of the best pilots from from Bf 2015 and bf2 and all of them have squadrons, but only two seem to play it regularly, so it seems a lot of players are in the same mindset as me. I need a game that is a combination of the 3.

That's exactly how I feel. I wanted a proper X vs T sequel for years, and while I had a blast with it there just isn't enough to keep me coming back. You've seen all there is to see in a few hours of multiplayer.

I absolutely love the story in Fallen Order and Cal and BD1 are already firm favourite characters of mine. But the gameplay style is just so tiring. I think it’s because i prefer open worlds, but all the planets felt so lifeless?

Well, the least they could do for Battlefront 2 was allow the team to fix any bugs that are still present in the game. Like killed enemies standing like statues, Palpatine's cloak going off the model or Kylo Ren's Let them Come to You milestone, which seems to work when it feels like it. Not to mention, that bloody minimap which can get You killed because it shows you NOTHING.

So damn easy: 4. Squadrons. Unnecesary game, everyone was loving BF2 and wanted more content but EA decided that we needed a full game of the least played mode in BF2. 3. Battlefront 2015. Great in every technical aspect but lacked content. Didn't have a campaign mode and none of the DLCs maps couldn't be used offline. Overall it was fun and entertaining. 2. Jedi Fallen Order. People really didn't have high expectations for the game considering it was also by EA but in the end the game turned out to be AMAZING. Great story, great characters, great lightsaber duels and overall it felt like it respected the source material while creating a new one. And let's not forget that it got a FREE DLC update. 1. The ULTIMATE Star Wars experience. This one did have a campaign mode but it was too short and predictible. At the beginning the game was in trouble due to loot boxes and microtransaction but after years of commitment from the developers they finally delivered a great and appreciated game. The WORST decision EA could've taken was stopping the live service.

I don't know why they excised Walker Assault from the game modes. That was a fun mode. Why not port everything over to BF2...maps, modes, heroes. Just modify the hero acquisition system. But definitely don't know why jet packs were removed. Would have been great on Geonosis.

1. Jedi Fallen Order 9.1/10 2. Battlefront 2 8.3/10 (used to hate this game cuz campaign was 2/10 and you guys know the other reasons) 3. Squadrons 7.6/10 (I don’t have any preferences for Star Wars games as long as it’s on the platform I play on, so I enjoy the flying aspect and we needed a modern day starfighter game) 4. Battlefront 3/10 (I really dislike this game, almost no content, the only decent content having to pay a lot of money, single player very limited, customisations were average and graphics were good as well as like 3 maps, hero gameplay was a jokeand soldier gameplay relied on jumpacks and explosives) Like you Ozzy, I’m a non-Disney hater, I’m not one of those toxic fans who’s only around Star Wars to hate on it.

Totally agree about your BF2 opinion. I was 15 when the OG Bf2 came out and its one of my fave games ever. But BF2 2017 just IS a better game, objectively, if you played the side by side. As you say though the stuff thats missing really holds it back... GIVE ME GALACTIC CONQUEST AND CAPITAL SHIP TO CAPITAL SHIP LANDING PLEASE!!!

I agree worth every thing you said about star wars Jedi: fallen order and should be number one on EA Star Wars Games rank, but its your opinion and I respect that. for me I would place Star wars battlefront 2, reason it an enjoyable game and beside it controversial start it became a really good game. Yes there is a lot and I mean a lot of content there are missing and characters but it has an overall playable game. for Jedi fallen order it has a really great story line and and cool combat system but what it lack are playability. since one you finish the campaign you are left with nothing, you can go to every plaint and collect all the collectable but once that finish now what. there really isn't a lot to do with the game once finish. I know Fallen Order is a single person game and it a good game, and for battlefront 2 it is a good star wars multiplayer game.

You are right that the general gameplay is better in SWBF2 (2017), but there are still many reasons why it's not as good as SWBF2 (2005). Biggest reason is the stupid multiplayer lobby. Sometimes you set in it forever, even in the more popular game modes. Another strong point is the lack of the true ability to make amazing mods like the Battlefront 3 - Legacy Project. And lets face it at the end of the day, what keeps a game alive is the community with the ability to host dedicated servers and mods.

i’ve gone back to battlefront 2015, objectively i can see it’s worse than the 2017 one, but i think i enjoy it more, that could be nostalgia, could be because i’m better at it, but i just think the infantry gameplay has a sense of fun about it
