It was already favored the Republic when it dropped, but the later changes (arctroopers, TX tank, Leia buff) made it even worse. If the 2nd phase made the cliff out of bonds for the clones, it would be somewhat solved, but no. Republic team has to consist of complete beginners to lose that one.

Kylo Ren yea I feel you the first phase is just no fun and doesn’t fit my style of play, hero or infantry, and the last phase is honestly even worse but the middle phase is one of (if not the best) phase is battlefront 2. So much action, infantry equipment really shines here, it’s balanced for both sides, lightsaber heroes and blaster heroes (especially bossk) are all very fit to defend or take over the objective. Overall a pretty ok map.

If you did starfighter assault there is one map where I will never play. Unknown Regions. Even worse, Unknown Regions as First Order. The other Sequel map is good, Endor is good, Fondor is great, Kamino is Amazing, and Ryloth is great, the only thing I hate about Ryloth is that sometimes I get spawn killed on the third phase. Not enough to annoy me compared to the Unknown Regions, where you get spawn killed on 2/3 phases, but enough to be noticeable.

I like the esthetic of Endor and the creativity of the rebels having to take control of an at-at, but I think it’s too linear designed, and the last phase is actually horrible, like you could be stuck for a half an hour on it. I like the first phase of it, although I think 3 objectives is too much and should be lowered to 2, it’s still fun and has a pretty good lay out, the middle phase with the at-at is too linear and should be more spread out with more reason to go to the treetops, and the last phase should just be the castle like base that the at-at blows up, that part is super fun when you get to it

Matthew Paddon to the left of the ramp that leads into the valley. If you can get the tank on the Cliff on the left there’s a bolder there that can make it kind annoying. But if you arch the Giant Ion shot just right it hits the base of the objective it’s long shot. I just did it like 2 hours ago today.

Also I should mention that just yesterday I was playing as a separatist in Geonosis, and we managed to take out all of the republic walkers before the ships were destroyed. The counter stayed glitched so that the number was zero, but the display bar was showing we still had to kill another, and we lost because of that. I like geonosis quite a bit, but that made me sad to take a loss I shouldn’t have had to take.

Galactic Assault is honestly an underrated game mode. It offers every type ground combat game play you could ask for. You want hectic trench warfare? Crait. You want grand scale, all out battle focused on vehicles? Hoth and Geonosis. You want tense urban combat with vertical mobility? Tatooine. You want an epic gauntlet of mayhem? Endor. You want close quarters combat? Starkiller Base and Death Star II. You want a mix of all of the above? Kashyyyk, Naboo and Yavin IV.

My favorite map is Crait. Phase 1 can be a bit tedious although Ive played on the resistance side with some really good squads that know to team up to go for the disrupters as a group and it has been fun . The only real issue I have is with the lighting in this map. Moving into the hanger on the first order side is like moving into a black hole because you see nothing at all. On the resistance side the outside is so bright that you rarely see any enemies approaching, until you’re picked up by a enemy sniper from across the map. Other than that all 3 phases are super fun on both sides in my opinion

Easiest way to win every match on Geonosis as the Separatists, let the Republic take the Damaged Walker early, hold mainly on the coms during phase one, once they take the walker, use the loads of cover to destroy it with sentry. If the clones get through to phase 2, let them get about mid-map, then spawn heavy, die, and spawn on a STAP Speeder. Use the speeder to run over to the back of the walkers, bombard it with the overcharge fire, then hop off and sentry constantly

I’ve played so much co-op that I have literally never gotten to play on Crait, Death Star 2, Starkiller Base, or Yavin 4. And very little on Endor

Louis Faulkner None of them are worth using, except for the T-21 for the heavy. Cycler is trash, the DL-18 gets outperformed, and the E-11D is almost identical to the default infantry blaster.

Purple Blob Boi But the E11d Just has the range that the default blasters don’t I agree with the DL 18 it’s just a slower version of the SE44C And the T 21 is a beast I find myself getting more kills with the single fire And for me if you want to use it at a longer range it’s best to have the camera lowered down So the shots hit instead of going over their head

Purple Blob Boi it's more versatile than the other two blasters. One is a burst rifle meaning the burst delay might sometimes be a hinderance and the other has a low fire rate making it a liability unless you can manage consistent headshots at close range. You have a solid all round gun in choosing the new rifle.

One question to the community is, why the hell do people love clusterfuck maps so much ? Stuff like kamino, or second and third points of naboo for example ? From a gameplay view, it's literally throwing grenades, shooting at a chokepoint and thats it, it gives me a migraine as to how dreadfully boring and braindead it is. Kashyyyk's first point does have a large sniper advantage, especiially the first 1/3, however after there's more cover, it's incredibly fun. Flanking, sniping, frontline, all work very well and playing a hero is still fun. Fighters are also fun and you can hide away if there's some tryhard in one, and the huge trees provide dynamic starfigher fights.

I LOVE Crait but I’ve never won phase 1 as resistance, probably because first order have ties and walker while resistance only has ski speeder

I’ve never really been a big fan of how powerful the vehicle objectives are, but I do generally enjoy those fases of the game since that’s usually where you can play all the vehicles and reinforcements and still have a good time

Geonosis is number 1 for me but only when I’m playing clones. I find it so satisfying when I jump in the first AT-TE and immediately ion shot in front of me. Always gets so many people
