Their great stage, the lights and most of all their amazing performance was deserving of the win despite what the naysayers says!!! One of their original band mate didn’t participate bcoz he was already fighting in the frontlines and so as most of the male singers in the country. YES THANK YOU for stating the truth that Slo-Mo performance was better than Fuego...! I watched them together with and without music and really, Slo-Mo moves make Fuego moves look like a highschool dance

Exactly those videos just prove that it's usually not the best song that wins the whole contest:D I def prefer more 2nd and 3rd places over the winners as well 😄 It's impossible for me to chose only one song from such an amazing group of entries, gotta mention at least B&H 2006 - my first Eurovision experience that I remember, I was only 7 and remember my obsession over this song that lasts till these days, it def contributed to my love for traditional ethnic entries, especially for Balkan ballads 🥰 There are a lot of songs that I have on my playlist and listen to them on regular basis (such as Turkey 1997, Azerbaijan 2009, Serbia 2012 or Switzerlan 2021). To be honest, Slomo as a song wasn't really my thing when it was released - that time I had a different winner of their national selection, but then I saw her live performance in Benidorm and changed my mind about it completely (and the Eurovision performance was even better) 🔝🔝🔝 And those trumpets that they added in the beginning and the middle of the song?? 🤩 It has such a Spanish sound to it 🤩

That jacket is a design of Palomo Spain and it weights around 8 kilos indeed. But we have to understand that all the team come from musicals. They dance and sing and perform. Artists. Great idea to do a reaction to the 3rd places. I would even say the TOP 5 were always good songs. Also a big shout out to "Lucas" (not "Schlager"). He always makes great ESC compilations. By the way "Schlager" is the name of a typical german music genre (which is not typical german). The most songs at the ESC till 1995 were "Schlager" like music. Specialy after 2000 the music at ESC was getting more and more modern. "Schlager" still exsisting in Germany and popular, but must people think about "Schlager" as old fashioned (the music my parents heard and not me, type). Many Germans till now believe the ESC is still a bunch of "Schlager" songs and don't know the modern side it has now. They simple don't watch it because of this old reputation it has till now. I always need to persuade my friends to take a look at the 2000 type ESC. And they still say: No! and don't give it a chance. Sorry to say. Sad part: Lonesome watching ESC. Just yoking.

The reason why the third places are such good songs is that it’s mostly the fan faves, who didn’t get as much from the juries and therefore didn’t win, but became most of the times third or 4th place.

For me, the contest is still about the songs. The performance should be there to support the song, and not the other way around. So when you tell us to put the lyrics on the side and watch the performance, I don't agree at all with that. If the performance is great, which I agree was absolutely the case for Chanel, I would expect the song to be equally great, if not greater, and not just be some background music for the performance.

I agree it is called ESC = Eurovision Song Contest not EPC =Eurovision Performance Contest. Chanel was /is great but I am glad that a song about how sexy she is and that she has no monitary problems because of it did not win.

Yeah I would have to say overall I much prefer the songs that came 3rd compared to the winners. Chanel, Sergey 2016 and Switzerland 2021 would be my top 3 favourites. Honourable mention to Turkey 1997 and Romania 2005.

Honestly I think Ucraines support could be shown in many differents ways but not here cause thats a lack of respect for months or preparation song and performance. All we know according to odds thas gonna happen so why didnt decide to put Ucraine to participate as invited but not in the competion. Another aspect I didnt like was that juries votes removed by EBU for supposing fraud. I agree if you notice something like this you do It but not remplace them as you desire. Its clear that decision taken by EBU has improved UK place instead of Spain. I feel confortable with Sam he did such a good performance but not getting through any way , sacrificing the position that Chanel and Team good and fair fighted for It. Also thanks Chanel for bringing back all illusions lost for so many years. It was such amazing job which It Will remain burned on oír memories as youserlf said at the end of your performance, all our lifes. ,❤️👋👍🇪🇦🙂

Most of the third places had to win. Especially Gravity from ukraine and amore from Italy. You like Chanel ok...but overrated. This year Australia Italy Greece were ways Better than top three. Ukraine had to win, right.
