I can understand your dislike for the Black Star Dragonballs but if I'm remembering correctly the Black Stars didn't just become the "new thing". GT basically started with Pilaf making the wish that Goku was a kid again, once the Z Fighters knew what was at stake Goku, Pan, and Trunks left Earth to collect the 7 BS DBs. In the time they were gone they encountered Baby who made his way to Earth after being defeated by the trio. By the time they got back to Earth with the 7 Black Stars, Baby had essentially taken over everyone (including Vegeta) and made a wish with the BS balls to create a new Planet Tuffle. Which puts us in the Baby Saga where SSJ4 Goku makes his debut. Apparently that saga lasted roughly a whole year because by the time Baby was defeated there wasn't a lot of time left to evacuate the planet. But they did (which is where Piccolo dies) get everyone off in time. They use the Namekian DBs to restore Earth and her people. It's not long after the death of Baby that Super 17 shows up along with a dimensional tear from Hell. Goku and 18 defeat Super 17 and that's when they try to use the original red star DBs to revive all those killed during the Super 17 saga. The DBs crack and that starts the Shadow Dragon saga. So it's not that the BS DBs were the "new thing" it's just that in DBGT the plot was accelerated, we didn't get the gaps in peace that DB or DBZ had.

I would like to mention 2 things here First the Earth Exploded because for the explosion not to happen would the ball to be at the exact same spot there were when the wish was made this how ever never happened because Bebi doesn't care for the earth (even pan mentions that there don't have the time to collect them again after seeing them scatter after bebi's wish. And second the 1 big plot hole I found in Gt is that planet Tuffle is the same as planet Vegeta so this means that it should have 10 times earths gravity and yet everyone is fine being on it (this is not just about surviving there could totally do this until Earth is restored given that the power level 1 Baby Goku could just about the fact that no one seams effected by the massively higher gravity.

I always wondered about that plot hole! As for the wish made, yeah you're right, personally I feel like it's a combo of the two. Plus the fact that in order for the explosion to have been averted someones (most likely Pan, Hercule, Buu, and Uub) would of needed to essentially leave not long after the wish was made. But due to the threat of Baby that was never followed through.

The way the dragon balls worked according to GT was the absorb the opposite energy of what wish was made (See Newton's third law). Positive wishes absorbed negative energy, and vise versa. The more positive the wish the more negative energy it absorbed. Hence why Syn Shenron was so powerful because the wish that made him was to bring back all those killed by Frieza and his men. It also explains why Nuova Shenron was honorable and even fought with Goku against Syn, as Omega Shenron. The wish that made Nuova was the one that King Piccolo wished for his youth.

There was little thought put in the GT plot from the beginning.

@DimensionalBattleStudios I never stated that the other universes had 5 supreme kais. And Kai, or Kaioshin, is both plural and singular, so I get that its a bit confusing. But it has been confirmed that the Kaioshin and GoD are a set, meaning that if there are multiple Kaioshin, they all need to die. "But", I can hear you say, "What about Zamasu killing Gowasu?". That too, is not a plot hole. Zamasu was not a Kaioshin, he was still an apprentice. He became a Kaioshin some time AFTER killing Gowasu. Meaning that Rumush already died. The issue then is that the angels also go inactive, we have yet to know what that exactly means, but the assumption is that they disappear if their GoD dies, unless the entire universe is erased as they dont die, they get completely erased, untill a new one is appointed. You can even go to the manga chapter "Hope!! Once Again", I think its stated there quite clearly that all kaioshin have to die.

I had an idea of the White Star Dragon Balls. They are like Normal Dragon Balls but they can bring people back to life, an unlimited amount. They can even be used for other wishes. The thing is that only the (supposedly) good people can use it and when evil touches it, soon it's starts to get corrupt. However, there is a hidden system that happens every Earth Year where all the evil contained will be turned into good and someone in need can get a free wish. Still you can't wish to erase universes, multiverses, galaxies or even planets. You can create them, but the Dragon Balls must see you fit. I have other ideas but that's all I got for now. Hope it was decent at least.

Also on a side note, no the dragon balls were not said to come from the super dragon balls. The super dragon balls were created by zalama. Now we get into head canon territory. This is just my thoughts on it, but I think the namekians are descended from zalama. I dont know when or how far removed (very very far removed for sure) but I believe the namekian lineage can be traced back to zalama. this would explain why the namekians can create their own dragon balls. And since the namekians are very far distantly descended from zalama, they arent anywhere near as powerful as zalama. Which is why the dragon balls created by the namekians cant grant as powerful of wishes as the super dragon ball can.

Edits: Earth's Dragon Balls: under Dende CAN grant the same wish twice, since that rule, i believe was removed. They still have limitations however. Shenron has trouble finding a single object that could be anywhere in the universe. He also can't grant any wish that affects different universes or timelines. Super Dragon Balls: can grant literally ANY conceivable wish. Wishes CAN affect other universes, or other timelines, and have literally NO LIMITATIONS. Any wish on the Super Dragon Balls is essentially being given the creative powers of God in a mortals (or other deity's) hands. Bullsh$t Balls, er Blackstar Dragon Balls: Are basically rule-less Dragon Balls that are more like the Super Balls, only significantly weaker. Namely that they are basically reality warpers. They were used not only to wish Goku back as a kid (but retaining his adult mind), but also were able to grant 2 wishes for the price of one. That being Baby's wish to resurrect the long destroyed Planet Vegeta (or Planet Plant) AND move it "into Earth's orbit" (His words not mine) basically replacing the long destroyed moon.

I like the idea of the side effect of using the Dragon Balls too much. That death is meaningless in Dragonball universe meant that every time a character dies we don't care because they can be brought back by the dragon balls. Really liked that GT tackle that.

You forgotten about dark dragon balls from dragon ball heroes they grant one wish and once they do they spread across timelines bonding to hosts which will power them and they can be removed by grabbing and taking it out or blast the host and they fall out in a certain way and the dragon made a very old demon ruler young again regaining his strength which is alot because he has a higher rank than demon king also even in his old age able give main villains in dragon ball heroes the other demons like towa, Dabura the guy who was under Babadi's control and lost to Gohan and some others into demon gods so these dragon balls got be very powerful probably second strongest since we know super dragon balls are the strongest of them all and they were made by a xeno dende where he turned evil by demons and more powerful the wish is the longer it takes for it be done

The redstar dragonballs didn't disappear, it's just with the earth about to explode the black star ones were kinda the priority at the time. Though I will admit when you think about it the Blackstar balls being at the lookout all this time doesn't really make sense, because Bulma's radar can detect any kind of dragonballs. @4:52 the nemakian dragonball does indeed scatter after a wish is made. It was shown in the anime after Frieza tried to make his wish for immortality and Dende wished everyone to Planet earth. At the end of the wish, they do indeed rise to the sky and scatter.

Ricardio Brando naw man ! The dragon balls cracked and leaked out the shadow dragons due to the negative energy. Those were the red star balls. The black star balls exploded with earth. It's not explained why the balls have black stars but the DBDBs were created by the nameless. Namek that separated into kami and piccolo and the they were reactivated when kami and piccolo refused!

It would be dope if in one universe all the namekians of one planet fused together for a battle and made an ultra instinct level namekian and that namekian created the super dragon balls. That would be a better storyline plot than what they used.

I always kinda thought that dragon balls are really weird, and in some ways kinda stupid. So the dragon is as powerful as it's creator, so does that mean that Kami/piccolo could just preduce a new planet at will? We've seen piccolo magically produce clothes and stuff, but what about a planet? As it was said earlier in the video, Dende said he could make dragonballs, but then later on it turns out that all the dragonballs are made from the super dragonballs. If that's true, surely piccolo would have remembered that these things existed and maybe knew all about them, considering he has Kami's memories, right? Also, how did bulma make a machine that can track the dragonballs? Do they emit some kind of radiation that can be traced? But, I digress. I am kinda glad that they don't always use the dragonballs to fix their problems, but seriously, they could wish for a button that when used teleports the target enemy into the sun or a black hole, thus killing them instantly, and we know this can work because didn't they beat broly in one of the movies by kamehameha'ing into the sun? Atleast that's what dragonball fighterz told me. but then we wouldn't have gotten to see the greatest momemt of z where gohan goes super saiyan 2.

I mean to be fair to the black Star balls I don’t think it’s as much them being the new thing as much as it is GT was basically a shit load of arcs happening one after the other with no break Dragonball, dragonball Z and even Deagonball super allowed the characters to rest but the GT characters didn’t get that luxury Remember how they didn’t wish back people who were killed by a singular villain? They had to wish back every single person who died over the course of the entire show. That’s how fucking chaotic it got. They didn’t have time to wish everyone back until the entire damn show was over Hell there were only 3 wishes made in the entire show

I still say the Darkstar balls are superior to the Super balls in terms of potential. In theory the Darkstars are a good idea, as it basically gives a sense of urgency and purpose to an adventure. "Oh shit we gotta find them or else were screwed!" And it makes the reward all the more satisfying upon potential use. Super balls are just oversaturated fluff. Oh their dragonballs but SUUUUUPER.....yea lovely 😒

The reason they didn't use the normal Earth Dragonballs was that the Black Star Dragonballs were a more powerful set and thus could not affect the Black Star Dragonballs. Also, considering the Earth Dragonballs were on the verge of corruption... bad idea.

hey dudes so a couple important notes 1 before saying i messed up the earth dragon balls please watch the whole video. i Include all the versions of them. the ones made by kami and the ones brought back by dende. same goes for the namekian dragon balls 2 I made a couple of mistakes with the super dragon balls 3 I did not include the dark dragon balls from dragon Ball hero's because I didn't know they existed I'm going to redo this video eventually and fix any mistakes and just make it better :) but wow I'm suprised this go so many views!!!! thanks for commenting, thanks for your time watching and thanks for the support all of you!!! Truthfully the black star balls makes sense. They were made while Kami and piccolo were one as the “nameless Namekian” while battling the negative energy in himself he created these balls. They were turned to stone until Kami and piccolo re-emerges again. I mean it does make sense. And I don’t think you can use one set of balls to gather another set of balls. That’s like using earth’s balls to gather nameks balls. I don’t think it works like that.

Even before I saw Super Shenron (note: haven't watched DB Super, and from the way things look, I don't see myself doing so anytime soon), I just felt that the Super Dragon Balls' Dragon being a Shenron is just supremely lazy. Yes, there are multiple Shenrons, but what do they all have in common? They're all created on Earth, in some way by the Nameless Namek or one of his halves. Normal Shenron was created by Kami, Ultimate Shenron from the Black Star Balls was created by the Nameless Namek (of whom Kami is one half), and Black Smoke Shenron was birthed from the normal Dragon Balls now having been overused, but since the balls normally spawn Shenron, it would make sense that the entity coming out would also be a Shenron, albeit a different one. The Namekian Dragon Balls, on the other hand, don't spawn a Shenron, but rather Porunga. Since it is a different culture that has these particular Dragon Balls, it is understandable that the Dragon would be different. So why in the hell would the Super Dragon Balls, capable of spawning a universe-sized Dragon, simply be another Shenron? Since the Namekian Dragon Balls are (in universe) older than both the Earth and Black Star Dragon Balls, it feels like naming the Super Dragon (from Dragonballs much older than any set) should not just result in a Shenron (the name of a much younger Dragon), but rather something else entirely, separated from any of these young upstart cultures that have sprung up in all the different universes. Side note: I am partly wondering what would happen if GT rules applied to the Super Dragon Balls: i.e. if they were overused, and negative energy continued building up eventually resulting in a Black Smoke Super Shenron, I'm curious as to how bad the consequences would be, and on how big a scale they would be. If the overused Earth Dragon Balls were capable of annihilating Earth's entire galaxy when the Shadow Dragons got loose, what chaos would the Super Shadow Dragons unleash and what would they ultimately destroy?
