Eventually, in that Marzipan's Answering Machine April Fools, it is revealed that Homsar is capable of speaking relatively normally, but only over the phone. He was totally doing that on purpose. Not that they likely thought of that gag by this point, being 8 years after this game was released.

I figure that the events of SBCG4AP are all made up by Strong Bad. Telltale Games has a couple videos showing Strong Bad working as an intern trying to make the game with them, and he once answered a tweet about whether the game was canon by saying that if you’re playing it for the canon, you’re probably doing something wrong. (I actually did kinda play the game for the canon… oh well.)
