Interesting to see how Van has gone from a Game idea that was basically mostly done and only needed the details ironed to become a playable game ready to be sent (Helltaker) to a Game where the Artistic View was a full development work to get right and then make into the Game a whole (Awaria). Van Ripper is indeed full proof of what the Future of gaming needs, Indies going at it out of Passion.

Sometimes the most annoying part of it all is when you know what you want at the core, yet repeatedly the attempts just don't seem to make a fit with that. Kudos for him to persisting (though if his commentary about the game being release worthy a lot earlier than end of 2024, he found the Art direction by... 2023? And he could've made gradual Updates to get all content earlier) for 2+ years. I would have already changed to a new idea already.

@@n1ght7ngale level 9, 10,11 and 12 are all what turned this video from a speedrun attempt to over 3 hours Best advice I discovered is 1 : for the first 8 levels, just keep everything always stocked 2 : for the the 4 remaining levels, treat at as a restraunt Management game Focus on surviving importantly (everything has a pattern, muscle memory will kick in eventually), then see what the shield needs and go make it, the game gives you enough time to make It from scratch Good luck dude
