Oliver Thornton was Raoul. Yeah, I wish there's been a bootleg has proper lighting during the AIAoY reprise tho. Would love to see John's facial expression during that moment. Must be heartbreaking...

The only scenes I completely love in this musical are the ones with the Phantom/Christine. The scenes are The Mirror, PotO title song, The Music of the Night, I Remember/Stranger Than You Dreamed It, Wandering Child, Point of No Return and the part in the Final Lair scene where Christine kisses him. It completely and utterly breaks my heart that Christine chooses Raoul instead. There are three scenes in the show that get me bawling and those are All I Ask of You, All I Ask of You (Reprise), and the Final Lair.

I had to relisten to it a few times. 😂 I agree. It left me amused, yet it didn't fail to let the audience know the agony he was feeling. I definitely don't want to hear it in every performance, but it did make this version unique. :)
