I have the Radiowow R-108 version of this radio. bought it new 5 years ago and, It still works perfectly.

I agree Gilles, I recently bought one for under £20 on a well-known Chinese shopping platform, crazy value for money. I haven't noticed any battery drain issue & the Air Band quality is great, never thought I'd be interested in Air Band but it is an interesting feature on the radio. Thanks

I bought a D109 for work on a Black Friday sale but probably should of got this. The reason being is the SOS function. My dad was carrying the radio with a bunch of tools and set off the SOS alarm inside the customers house. Caused a bit of panic and the customer thought it was their alarm going off.

The latest version is much improved because it eliminates the popping sound when changing bands. The speaker sounds much better than a Skywave and it's half the price. Great under $50 radio.
