A little detail missing for Giant's Shadow: British are the attackers IRL as it occurs in the Hundred Days Offensive And imagine if they included a little scene of the HMS Thetis (or submarine) bombing the bridge to Lubeck Battery similar to Metro in BF3

6:49 in the Real Zeebrugge raid (in Belgium) the Germans lost everything but the shore line. Germans had only 24 casualties compared to the british 700. and the Germans made thier own new Dock During the Raid anticipating a worse defeat the victory wasn't decisive. but it was a dark day for britain as far as casualties go British losses 227 killed 356 wounded 1 destroyer sunk German losses 8 killed 16 wounded the Germans lost no navy craft nor aircraft. then again half the combined arms elements weren't even around that area in 1918 the Wiemar Republic owns it's founding to the Sailors who didn't want to pull a British KamiKaze, the Mutiny in Keil was the starting date of the German civil war British strength; 1,700 1 destroyer given the lack of casualties there's a change they had way less so fought much better. either that or it shows a disparity between German and British marines at Least they got gud as the Germans told them to in WW2 after this battle

17:03 they don't let the Germans use the Trenches that Surround the city. that's giving the entaunt a historically unfair advantage. why put the trenches there exactly? if it will not have the effect of Encirclement. Fort Vaux's map has the same problem. the Germans encircled it too (that's why the French couldn't enforce it from the allied lines) good idea for a new battlefeild game; Expand server player count and allow encirclement battles. then they'll know how it feels to truly defend. Tannenberg is a good example of application of the concept given it does it with the same player count as BF1

i say this because if it was french i'd get it. but the Germans Start from it. and if they fell back into the city because of artillery then I'd be more justified for the point. linear Assaults don't do WW1 Justice until you go to the northern half in early phases of the war in 14 and 15 before they began digging. cities are encircled first. that's the historical procedure for taking the city. They tried it at Verdun and failed to complete encirclement and the schliffen plan consisted of encircling the french army between paris and use verdun as a distraction in 1914 then the meddling kids of belgium and britain got involved. but that's another debate for another day (yes it's a scooby doo reference)

That is not correct. They are 2 different actors. The French voice is Henri Lubatti and the German voice is Peter Chelsom.

LUL, true, nobody plays it now or piegeon war, or frontlines, all you can play now is operations (only if there are free packs for it), currently all you can play is like 2-3 servers. Sad to see one of my favourite games died like this.

13:36 a voice like this doing a briefing wouldn't be done until the Battalions of Death Came around in 1918. as a history buff in WW1 it kinda bothers me. not meaning to sexist by disclaimer before i trigger the Anti-science and history mob that are Nazi like with thier inclusionist policy upon historical games like an avalanche that hit the witcher games for being set in Poland in 1300s (where Records from the period show that there were no Africans in Poland) for not having a black person or NPC in the game the fact the star wars was manipulated into being an inclusionist was why the Disney Trilogy sucked balls and they plan of actually writing a new movie to care about the story and not the mary sue it'd be like having members of the KKK being in the civil rights movement. not the best example but the best sample of disgust i have for that quirk of the inclusionist movement. that disgust being "That was Historically never done". thanks for listening to the explanation Remember, Russia was a absolute monarchy (thus women would have no role in the army) and Nazi Germany was a biggotocracy. Black women would never be allowed to fight for the Reich, (Black men were only enlisted in North Africa. 100+ or so actually fought for the nazis and all of them did well as to get iron crosses, a medal of honor of sorts from Germany, it was hard to get it, they made it intentionally so; so that if the war became another WW1, Being shot wouldn't give you the highest military Honor in Germany, so black men is more believable. but only in North Africa where the Germans almost gave the British a wet willy half past suez so the Fact that African men who fought for the Nazis had a near 100 percent rate of getting an iron cross should mean something) yes it's very obscure of a historical fact but Blacks, Jews and Even Indians fought for the Germans in the war, the Leibenstandarte was the most diverse corps of the Whermact and in the whole world. including more races than the Fentgian (the OG nationalist China) or Qing (Manchucko) 5 Race Armies
