Yet they don't have a lot of basic infrastructure that you'd expect with this level of advancement. It's conveniently primitive. Is what I should have said. They have exactly what they need for the plot, and nothing else, even if it would make sense for them to have it. That's part 1 logic bro xD nobody is saying Haku actually moved at the speed of light and Naruto and Sasuke, as children actually saw what was happening. That fight was a big cap.

@@myst2761 The physics behind that kind of feat is incredibly illogical, and based on our understanding of the world, impossible. Think about the ramifications. From every point forward, we'd have to consider that every Shinobi that speed blitzed Naruto or Sasuke after this point, was somehow faster than the speed of light. That's a lot of people we'd consider to be fodder. Is fodder in Naruto faster than the SOL? Nope. If that could possibly be the case, how is Minato considered to be the fastest Shinobi, if he's only going places instantaneously. The difference between instant and the SOL, in the terms of distances on earth, is sooooo small, that it would be irrelevant to consider. Both speeds in this sense would be equal. There'd be no need for boats, horses, or any form of transportation. Messenger birds. Nothing. Nothing really more to be said, I hope.

Typhoon release is actually pretty accurate to real-life tornadoes. The vortex structure of a tornado can extend several miles up into the parent thunderstorm. The largest tornado ever recorded was over 2.5 MILES wide. Sasuke's susanoo is actually a decent scale comparison for a larger-than-average tornado and could even look small in comparison

I'd say the only reason Kaguya turns people to ash with her bone release is because she absorbs chakra or something like that, so maybe that's got something to do with it.

Wood style is definitely 1. its both offensive and defensive. ITs the most versatile(chakra suppression etc) Its why the whole show people tried to use it or have some control of it.

I'm going to use both an in world explanation and an explanation that uses the video as its basis. In world. People weren't trying to get wood release so to speak, their real intention was for the insane hacks that came with Hashirama cells. Regen, rinnegan, Chakra mumbo jumbo. Wood style was sort of just a side effect. Otherwise Danzo would have had more control of it, but he absolutely didn't. The top things in the list are more than just tools, or jutsu. They allow you in some way to reshape the ninja world singlehandedly. And while some people can argue that a singular Hashirama did that, well with the #2 spot, you can create 10 Hashiramas, or more. With sakon and ukons. Imagine, if you're top spot is wood release, and your argument is that everyone was trying to get it, and a butt load of people did get at least Hashiramas DNA: Orochimaru, Madara, Danzo, which might confer that it's not that difficult to get people's DNA. Therefore, the same logic has to be applied that the Sakon Ukon KG user would too have an equal chance at getting wood release and hashi cells. That was my reasoning at least.

@@ProbablyRiku i dont count number 2 as its not canon. while you do make a case for number 1, i still think wood style wins as it overcomes pretty much anything we have seen. as we are in the naruto world, it would be difficult to get varous keke genkai, it took orchimaru who can extend his life and get away injures etc and his henchmen to be able to get it in the first place then kabuto to complete (but in the end he still didnt overwhelm saskue or itachi with those keke genkai, its was his sage mode that was a problem for those two. its not practical to go around and put yourself in harm to get them in the first place. with the woodstyle, you get offensive , long range, short and defensive abilites. the woodclones are also superior to other clones. there is also absorbing your enemies chakara. your opponent would have a hard time gettin to you or hurting you. you can use it in a wide range of scenarios so you would never be surprised or caugh offguard by your oponent . with the sakon ukon its like prep time, its not feasible. we literally saw it. they themselves didnt use it, only kabuto did and thats after all the sacrifices orchimaru had to make. out of a N number of scenarios, wood style will be more usrful than sakon and ukon . you gain a bigger arsenal at the start, and can only go up from there. sakon and ukon takes to much time (go out collect keke genkai as if they grow on trees). sakon and ukon only work if you have all these different keke genkai in the beginning. BIG WOOD SOLOS

@@AK-ff4gv I think you make a great argument, but it's difficult for me to rationalize, because it works under the assumption that every wood release user is going to be a Madara or Hashirama, and not a Yamato. I think it's a little bit unfair for you to take the ABSOLUTE pinnacle of wood release, given the examples you used were clearly Hashirama or Madara's use cases but then say that the circumstances that would make sakon/ukon viable, are unrealistic xD See what I mean? Either we're arguing apples to apples, or nothing at all. And that's what I tried to do in this video. Was I absolutely correct in all of my rational? Almost definitely not, but because all of these opinions were formulated in my head, I was able to rank them under the same criteria, which then became the video. TL;DR we are measuring averages or the absolute extent. Can't be both.

@@ProbablyRiku yamato can supress chakra and do offensive and defensive, long range and short range. no is going to be hashriama, he is made of 100% hashirama cells. yamato, lv1 crook is more useful than sakon and ukon, also lv1 crooks. we saw their pinnacle with kabuto who had everyones powers plus hashirama cells. still his sakon and ukon powers were meh. An average shinobi well have more use of wood style than sakon and ukons powers; you dont have to go around hunting for kekai genkai and people with kekai genkai are stronger than your average shinobi, so it makes it difficult and risky and time consuming. They are only useful if you have all kekai genkai in the begining. average shinobi will be lucky to get one kekai genkai. this is what i was trying to convey. Kabuto had prep time with orchimarus prep time and years of research. forget about average shinobi, even elite shinobi wont have access to that sort of resources or means to acquire these kekai genkai. See what im trying to say?

The steel release being as strong as a diamond actually means the user isn't going to damage easily. It especially resilient to high amounts of force and pressure. So it helps with taking damage with super heavily enhanced strength and forceful attacks.

Steel Release is probably only as strong as steel. 😅 Earth Release: Earth Spear makes the user as hard as diamonds (that's what she said), and doesn't really state to take on any other properties, just the hardness. Through which we can only surmise that it's all the positives of diamond-like hardness, without any of the negatives. This fact, for better or worse makes this singular jutsu better than the entire Kekkei genkai of Steel Release, as far as we've seen it used. Otherwise it's just speculation. 😮

So sage mode isn't nearly as strong a Minato's speed that is KCM1 and 2. But sage mode is super powerful. Great video man.

So as far as a Raw physical multiplier, Sage mode is better than KCM 1. Naruto mentions it during his fight Vs the 3rd raikage. But, KCM 2 was fast enough to "deflect tailed beast bombs", which is of course ridiculous to even think about and most people discredit that moment but it's easy to reference. 😅 The KCM transformations offer a lot more versatility than Sage mode, and in truth, it's probably easier to market toy sales or Manga sales when your character is in this cool flashy yellow form... I wonder if Goku is jealous. 😂😂

​@ProbablyRiku She was distracted with yukimaru. Her motherly instinct overwrote her obsessive desire to serve Orochimaru. I love this plot point. Beside, not every female character has to be an amazing warrior, nor do they have to be a necessarily good one. It makes her more compelling and believable. I don't care for female characters who have absolutely no female traits who could easily be replaced by a dude, and nothing would change. At least that is my opinion

I think my intention was to rank based on strength. But that's a supremely subjective word. If something is strong, generally it's useful, in a world like Naruto's. Sharingan doesn't have that much applicability outside of battle, but it does so well within those confines, that it has to rank highly. Though even with that example it's varied, because genjutsu and the ms ability could make it extremely useful. Kamui teleportation across the continent would be extremely useful.

@@ProbablyRiku but the strength of all justu is based on the user. If the only wood style user we knew was Yamato it'd be ranked low. Therefore it makes more sense to rank purely on usefulness

I think there are two key points. Diamonds can be brittle, depending on the force and the angle of the force. One might argue that Kakuzu understands this principle, and angles his attacks in such a way that complements the physics. Secondarily, it's probably a comparison made because not everyone is aware of these intricacies.
