@@f.b.l.9813 Guns peaked around WW2. Battle rifles from that time can still penetrate most plate carries/Kevlar today. The problem is they lack the rate of fire of conventional AR's, which make them ill-suited for sustained suppressive fire. Firearms may be getting more advanced, but they're no better or worse at killing people than guns from 70-90 years ago.

@@rc59191 exactly. There was supposed to be a space battle (was done in the comics instead) between multiple tribes and the humans back for round two. It would have looked amazing, but seeing avatars in space suits and fighting on space shuttles would have been too much for me. Just like seeing red avatars in the third movie would be a dumb decision.

I heard rumours that something like that would happen in the to nuance the view and moral stance of the Na’vi. The third movie would feature a tribe that would use iron (which is forbidden by Eywa’s law) and have a bad connection with Eywa due to living in a less habitable environment with less green and animals. They’d probably take the side of the humans because they wouldn’t be treated fairly by the other Na’vi tribes, or they would feel like they don’t belong with the rest of their race.

We don't know how many of the English dialogue we hear is actually spoken in English. Since pretty early in the movie Jake has this sequence where (probably for the sake of the viewers), he starts hearing his kids speaking Na'vi as them speaking English. It's around the time he says "don't make me come over there" and stuff.
