There's this annoying guy with a wabbufet and some chick with a maractus who keeps using solar beam when I need everyone focusing on breaking the enemies shields. And dynamax pokemon who can use area of effect moves can be really hard to fight. You basically have to carry your whole team.

Once you break through them though they lose a lot of defense but 5 star ranks can put up a second shield that require 5 hits to get through.

Silver is disappointed in your Recent decisions Doubt it. Also it would make the battling feel to bloated and unfun, having to deal with 2 or even 3 OP battling mechanics at once (Mega Evolutions, Z-Moves, and Dynamaxing). I like Mega Evolutions, but I’m fine with them being gone.

The Ultra Gaming Champ Easy. Pokemon with mega stones can’t gmax or dynamax. As well as no dynamaxing as long as a mega pokemon is alive

Dynamaxing as a gameplay mechanic is actually much more interesting and varied than mega evolutions ever were, and I say this as someone who loved competitive with mega evolutions. I don't know why they insisted on scrapping the models though. Honestly I think something as simple as implementing an NPC that can give pokemon with a mega evolution the option to use that model while dynamaxed for like BP or something would have at least begrudgingly satisfied a lot of people.

mega meme Yeah. Sableye’s Mega-Evolved form would have big gem crystal that it would use like a shield. Plus, Mega Charizard X would have the blue flames coming out of the sides of its mouth, but it didn’t showed that, and also for its idle animation, it would be, like, swaying & gliding left & right and not even flapping its wings. Gengar’s Mega-Evolved Form would have at least, like, half of its body (the legs & torso) would be in the ground, not its entire body be completely above. Steelix’s Mega-Evolved form would also have the steel shards floating & circling around it, but the steel shards didn’t shown when Mega Steelix appeared. And also, for Mawile’s Mega-Evolved form, when it Mega-Evolves & does one of its attack animations, the two jaws on its head should have opened also, but the two giant jaws were closed during the Dynamax animation & for one of its attacking animations.

Mega evolutions would have been a great asset to have in sword and shield. Although, I can see if Sinnoh Remakes were to happen that mega evolution could return seeing as Professor Rowan of Sinnoh studies Pokémon evolution and the connection of them. Just makes more sense why they would hold off.
