Mellohi is a mansion with no electricity, dark, in the middle of the night, that you are walking through alone as the rain goes pitter-pat above you. Mellohi is the tapping of a branch against your window as you try to fall asleep when you were young, too young to understand what is dangerous and what is not. Stal is running a casino and watching people throw away what little money they have left, while grinning quietly to yourself. Stal is the understanding that the odds have long ago swung in your favor, and they've only been getting further that direction since, and that the universe will always conspire in your favor. Stal is successfully manipulating someone to your side and knowing you can make them do anything you want. Stal is a god complex being validated. Strad is the comforting sound of rain as you fall asleep, reassuring in its presence. Strad is standing in a field of flowers in spring, the breeze warming you plenty enough. Strad is the most comfortable piece of clothing you own. Strad is the feeling of falling into a warm bed after staying up a few hours too late into the night. Strad will hold you gently as you cry and reassure you everything will be okay. Strad is your cat curled up in your lap. Strad is recovery. Wait is dancing alone in a comfortable cold room with no shoes and a tiled floor. Wait is the sensation of suddenly growing wings and being able to fly. Wait is a friend who will support and help you no matter what. Wait is laying down and watching a comforting show after a good shower. Wait is having a good meal and going to bed perfectly full. Wait is the quiet understanding that the bad times are over, and realizing you are truly happy now. Ward is realizing you've been cursed by some magical entity and trying to learn to live with this new hinderance. Ward is not understanding how, but _knowing_ something is wrong, and nobody will listen to your gut like you will. Ward is saying "Hey ghost, if you're real, turn off this flashlight" and the flashlight really does turn off. Ward is feeling the water around you move and flow like something is there, but knowing you're too far from shore to swim away. Ward is a presence that follows you quietly, everywhere, a shadow that you can't shake off. Ward is the feeling of being watched in an empty room. Ward is a mysterious, uncomfortable, and scary presence. Pigstep is being a thief and knowing you've outrun the people after you. Pigstep is stealing from a bank in a white suit and getting away with it, able to live in comfort and luxury for the rest of your life. Pigstep is being a detective and solving the case easily when nobody else got close. Pigstep is running a mafia front. Otherside is being promoted to a god and having your first meeting with the pantheon you've now joined, unsure of the future, nervous, but excited. Otherside is being told you're about to go on a grand adventure. Otherside is meeting a dragon and finding out they're real, and they trust you most to be an ambassador. Otherside is following a mysterious creature of a species you don't recognize into a cave of glowing mushrooms. Otherside is being taken to a new, unknowable world of mythical beasts, and starting life again in this magic infused world.

Personally Strad is my overall favorite, by all means, closely followed by Stal, Strad feels like minecraft itself, calm, while being deep with life. Everytime I hear Strad I think of the terrain of minecraft, flying past mountains, and planes, and thick dark oak forests, passing by a village or 2, just seeing the magnificent landscape of the game. Stal is quirky and fun, and I love it.

Ward just fills me with so many memories. I've been playing Minecraft going on 8 years now, and I swear I should've gotten bored years ago. It was what led me to finding my best friend, and has brought me so much joy that I just cannot describe. Ward, to me at least, sounds like Minecraft and the way it's grown. From the little minigames on the loading screen with the HUGE cat statues, wandering through with my best friend at my side. Now it's to this amazing world with so much adventure and beauty! Honestly, these songs kinda Remind me of my Middle School Ages, When I used to Come Home and Play Minecraft, I had collected every Music Disc and I had spent 2000 Hours in my World. The Joy of Randomly Playing and Exploring was Randomness that the Game has provided was the Joy that Kept me Happy since I was 7YearsOld , And I’ve never Heard these Music Discs in my World, I just Restored them as Antiques and now in 7th Class, Things have been goin’ pretty harsh, my World got Deleted, my Minecraft Account as well and My Device is Gone. I still remember the Nostalgia and the Memories I’ve Had in this Game and it had kept me happy for 5 Years.The Style, the childhood friends, the memories ,etc they’re all gone. These Music Discs still keep me happy, Thank you Mojang for the Contribution of this Amazing Game that will Survive for the Century!

I don't think I can single out any one song as being my absolute favorite. I have that problem with a lot of things. You know content is good when it comes time to pick a favorite and you can't. Whether it be Lena Raine or C418, these disks remain absolute bangers we can vibe to for a very, VERY long time. Even as we play other games, and gather the experiences we can get from them. The games our older siblings played while we adventured in Minecraft may be the games we play now, but we will always carry our passion for Minecraft in whatever form it takes. Id like to say that the disc Otherside has a unique vibe. Sorta like Pigstep but more... Story telling. When I listen to it I can help but imagine someone just starting out in Minecraft, oblivious and ignorant of the dangers. As the song starts sounding more serious, the adventurer is as well. Theyre learning, going through hardships, and surviving. When the serious parts start thats when they discover the Nether and its terrors. Then near the end of the song they find the stronghold and is about to enter the End, thats when the song finally stops. The fate of the adventurer unknown, but they grew smarter, wiser, and stronger in the end, and thats all you need to now Anyway thanks for listening to my Ted Talk 👍

Everyone talks about old childhood memories with these songs, but for me, there are some disks that reminds me of stuff from a year ago, when i was younger i always played stal, chirp and blocks, but i never tried other disks. So one day, i discovered how to add mods on minecraft (yes that took me 7 years to discover), then i started playing this video in the background while doing stuff, now, everytime i hear the songs mall, strad, ward and far, i get nostalgia when i am walking on those crazy biomes of biomes o plenty, creating grazy axes in tinkers, or making stuff with the create mod, crazy things that happened last year, interesting thing that i've never really heard these music disks when younger, i just always played the same 3 ones over and over again, now that i'm 16, this is my earliest nostalgia i have got, good not so old times... Still these days i remember stal giving me nostalgia when i made underground villages for fun and stuff like that, good old times :,)

My opinions on each song: Cat - Absolute banger, as always. One of my favorites Blocks - Love how there’s 3 different songs in one. Very nice Chirp - Beginning is super nostalgic and the rest is great Far - Unexpectedly good, I love the piano and the feeling of going on an adventure Mall - Amazing and upbeat. Second part is insane Mellohi - Gives me spooky vibes, but it’s not for me Stal - Love the jazzy atmosphere. Cute and playful, and I love the whistling parts. Fantastic Strad - My absolute favorite of all the discs. Nostalgic and cute. Feels like it’s inviting me back to the old days of Minecraft that I cherish dearly Wait - Fun beginning and I love the 8-bit tunes. Great for just building or chilling out Ward - Lovely and upbeat, but I think it’s a bit overrated Pigstep - Perfect for the nether update. Really fun and a great introduction for Lena Raine Otherside - Love the first part, feels really nostalgic but also all the possibilities with the new 1.18 update. Not a fan of the end tho

My little brother that had cancer loved Minecraft and the discs especially the disc cat so every night before he would go to bed I would sit next to him and listen to the music with him. Sadly he past away a couple weeks ago and every time I hear this song I remember how much fun he was, he would always tell the funniest jokes, he had the best dance moves,and he always made me smile he was the best brother i could've asked for.
