My V's absolute favourite is a custom black recolor of the Kusanagi. The sleek design matches her netrunning style, it was the first thing she ever bought in NC and the fact that it doesn't bounce as much as other bikes is a plus for me.

@@Harry-fy3te there is a mod that offers vehicles otherwise not available to the player called the virtual car salesman. It adds a car purchase catalogue to your apartment computer. That said the mod doesnt have the vehicle stats updated. Kusanagi is still however more expensive than the normal varient purchased that way and needs much higher street cred to balance it out some.

My favorite recolor of the Kusanagi is a navy blue and yellow variant found at the end of The Heist, right before getting back into the Delamain. But of course you never see that color again and can't drive it during that section of the game 😭

That tuned version of Jackie's bike should have actually been ... well tuned. It's a real shame that you didn't get anything in terms of rewards for choosing your lifepath. For a Nomad, they could have given you the tuned version that had a higher speed thanks to you offering those recommendations as a Nomad. Every lifepath should have had a tangible bonus imo.

It is tuned, stats are 185 horsepower instead of standard 170, top speed is the same but it seems to get there a little quicker.

@@DanakarEndeel It's pretty hard to find reliable information on these things and since launch the game was changed so much a lot of the info is wrong, the tuned up arch used to be the same as the regular version until they patched in the changes, Kusanagi used to be the head and shoulders fastest bike in the game, as the game stands now as far as I can tell if you start as a Nomad you get tuned up arch and the car used at the start of the story as exclusives, Corpo gets an exclusive tech pistol, and Street Kid appears to get nothing unless an opportunity to call yourself a "dumb bitch" while hanging your head in shame is considered exclusive content.

I swear the Kusenagi doesn't quite accelerate as quickly as the Arch. Jackie's bike is my fave. Having said that, I do love some of the gang variants of the Kusenagi and I wish we could acquire a few more of them. A few other bikes would go a treat as well - basic motor scooters, a proper recumbent like Akira's bike, a not quite as quick but super agile and grippy cafe racer, a big cruisy Goldwing looking thing, a fat noisy chopper... Oh, and if V could not stomp so hard on the back brake when slowing down, that'd be awesome. We have the space bar RIGHT THERE if we want those shennanigans.

ive used the quick travel feature a lot less than i would in other games with such a feature, Night City is just so unlike we've seen, awe-inspiring landmarks and building but at the same time get a glimpse of how things could get out of control if we're not careful with how we advance with our technology.

Yea…same. It is a testament to how gorgeous the city is and how rad the vehicles are in CP2077 …. I rarely fast travel. I don’t know if it’s scripted into the game this way but when I first got into the Quadra turbo-r … the radio fired up the “night city” song which I obsessed over … and it was honestly one of my favorite aesthetic moments in all gaming

You should try Quadra Type-66 "Javelina" if you haven't already. It's my favorite car in Cyberpunk. It's mad fast and it actually sticks to the road. Both in the city and out there in the badlands.

To a point, I always stole Tiger Claw's bikes to run around the city. I like Bikes more than cars and the Claw's have the best aesthetic. I always was sad I couldn't buy one and always lose them... until I found the secret quest. And boy o boy, yes, totally Arch itsumade, number one of the list

Sam does it well, some people do little more than a list while reading off some stats they found on the internet. He make it obvious he spent some time before deciding on his final choice and lots of research to get his final choice too. I put off buying Cyberpunk 2077 for a long time, but it was Sam that made me finally jump into it.... it's a deep pool though.. Not sure if i'm swimming or drowning yet.

You should re-examine the tuned arch, it's definitely more powerful than the other variants of the same motorcycle making it gain speed slightly faster than the rest.

The face on the front of the Itzumide (sp) reminded me of the Green Goblin. As for my favorite, it's the Kusanagi just because of it's tie to Akira and the fact that its name is also a reference to Maj. Kusanagi, the main character from Ghost in the Shell.

The struggling vehicle sound is actually a good idea. When driving I actually go out of my way to drop from full speed and go back to it constantly as sitting at full speed makes a constant droning noise in any vehicle that is just kind of annoying. Bringing any variation to the noise sitting at full speed would do good for long distance driving in this game.

I've got a bit more than 700 hours in cyberpunk so far and I'm still not tired of driving around Night City. Especially when it's just driving from one objective to another, it acts as a kind of cool-down, zone-out period with the radio going in between missions. It's nice.

The other day on a gang version of the last one, I managed to fail successfully to slow down at an off ramp by jumping, landing sideways behind a traffic car, then drifting around the right side of it and being perfectly lined up with the road ahead. I don’t quite remember where exactly, but I was either driving to or from Viktor’s place. Somewhere in that area.

The best part abt the Itsumade is that you can obtain it in Act 1, head over to All Foods (fast travel point) and there should be a parking lot with the big metal cargo boxes (you'll see it as soon as you spawn in) and scan the code pad, check the hacks and you'll see remote deactivate, I did encounter a bug which the bike didn't show up on my vehicle list, if you get the bike to despawn or something it should show up.

The Kusanagi isn't just my favourite bike but possibly my favourite vehicle (the Javelina definitely being my favourite car for its handling and acceleration) but the bikes allow you to slip between traffic. Jackie's Arch does look the coolest IMO, but the Kusanagi's handling is more stiff at high speeds, allowing for more accurate slipping between gaps but especially because the power slides are much more controllable for those quick 90 degree turns.

Hey, I'd just like to tell you a lil discovery I've found. So fun fact, turns out with guts you can negate fall damage. Very cool, right? Well you can also triple jump with it. Granted, you need to jump, double jump and then immediately shoot after the double jump to jump again, but it does grant you a SIGNIFIGANT boost in height. More-so then the other leg mods by a long shot. You can combine this with the athletics tree (reloading while sprinting and shooting), the cool tree (aerial take down + knive throws) and maybe a sandevistan just because it'll make you run faster with slowed time, I haven't tested if it will boost the jump distance or not (forgot to mention, you can also infinitely repeat it over long distances, working similar to the glider in breath of the wild [gradual drop off - extended aerial travel], of course the berserk + superhero landing could also be cool for this build, but I don't like the berserk in general so.. Also, the annihilation tree, cant believe I forgot about that. With these perks, you can probably make the most roof-jumping vigilante build possible. I don't know, I found it pretty cool. You can gain height pretty consistently, and theres multiple travel points where you can start off your vigilantism roof jumping. Or you can just gain gradual height as you walk around Night City. Its very fun so far imo, I've been playing around with it for the past 3 hours. Its surprising how many details go into the night city rooftops. The way it works is very simple I believe. One of the conditions to reset the double jump on your leg equipment is to touch ground. Guts does something very similar with its recoil, it has so much recoil that it eliminates any and all prior movement speed you had, by pushing you backwards no matter what. This is the reason that, of course it famously negates fall damage. But Guts' recoil is so strong that it completely resets the players movement, enough so that as long as you don't drag out your double jump (hence the "shoot immediately after pressing space on your first double jump") the game registers it as you touching the ground because its practically made you reset everything prior. The reason you can't fully drag out your first double jump is due to the fact that you no longer will have any control after the initial jump. Its such a short time frame that eventually, not even the recoil on the Guts shotgun will effect it. Thats my theory at least. Either way, you can jump from rooftop to rooftop (granted as long as said rooftop is not at a very far distance/at a higher vantage point then you). And it also gives you increased height. I thought this was an interesting strategy, I hope you at least test it out. If you want proof, I could send it to you via discord? Sorry for the rant, its very possible that this is a shit video idea. But I do think the build has potential and there is multiple movement perks in the game. Maybe its just me that would have fun with this, but taking down small-time gangsters, doing NCPD missions and such from the rooftops makes me feel like fucken batman. Edit: I forgot to mention, you could also scale night city using the various staircases up apartment buildings you can find. Also, heres a TLDR tutorial on how to triple jump with guts Jump > Double Jump > Shoot immediately after (Experiment with the timeframe you can do this in, usually it lasts maybe half a second or so for me? But I would recommend just testing shit). > Press space bar immediately after. As mentioned in the paragraphs, you can also repeat this near infinitely along long stretches (Not vertically unfortunately). You lose height but you gain a lot of distance + airtime.

Jackie’s Tuned (or not) is my fav street bike. Comes from my BFF, so it’s just tops for my “V” Scorpions Apollo for any off road work. Even my Corpo C (Johnnys term, not mine) uses mainly Jackie’s bike, only using the Akira bike or Yellow Arch for impressing clients. Like when I go to Embers to see Hanako for example.

you can get nazare itsumade without even knowing the hidden quest ever exist. in my 1st playthrough I stumbled upon the garage where the bike kept, after The Pickup mission. the garage located not far from the All Food. you can open the garage with "remote open" hack. just later on that I found out the bike comes from hidden quest. 😂

The itsumade can be gotten without doing the quest. I grabbed it just before talking to jackie on his arch. I saw the garage opened it grabbed the bike drove up next to jackie and it was mine ever since. Jackie's tuned arch was my vic the moment I got it and I drove it almost exclusively. He was my brother and he wanted that bike to see all of night city and go to the top with him. He wanted that arch to be a symbol of his legendary status thus why he got it right before the heist so people would know its him. Loved it.

I use Jackie's Arch until I can get the Kusanagi. That one is my favorite out of the bikes personally. The looks were what hooked me. And I like cruising the city. Only time I fast travel is when I'm in a big hurry, usually when I have a short time to play or know I need to get off soon.(my end session saves always are in my apartment)

Latest I've had the most fun just taking some standing around Kaukaz trucks or some of the armored Vans and ironing through traffic forcefully parking any slower driver into the curb. Bikes tend to get you knocked off in stronger AI traffic.

The issue of Johnny's memory being inaccurate about the model of motorcycle Rogue rode could easily be explained by that rough details of the motorcycle's frame and fairings being a recurring design for that company, with more subtle details being the difference between the periodic iterations. For the practical reason, it was an existing resource that the game developers could use in assembling the scene.

I like the 30k Apollo, mainly because it fits the fashionable cowgirl look of my Nomad and can still handle the badlands. Also, I rarely get a bike up to full speed -- too many turns, hills, etc. in Night City, so going faster isn't a big plus unless you're taking the freeway from one end to the other. Better handling beats out speed in most situations.

There is a pinkish purple bike exactly like the green one in the #1 slot, I've found 2 of them. and always steal it when I see it. I love that the tires have 2 glowing spots, the text and the rims themselves glow. Wish I could keep it but alas it disappears easily. If we got to keep it, then it would be my favorite. But for bikes that are ours to keep and summon, the Kusanagi is my favorite.

my fave is a draw between Scorpions Apollo (which i call Venom) and Jackie's Arch. Venom loves to pull wheelstands and flip whenever i summon her, but Jackie's Arch vibrates like a happy puppy every time i visit the garage that first time. Plus, there is the purr. but generaly, i prefer to walk. I love to walk around the city, take in the sights. often, I'll use the Metro (mod) and just ride around for a while. (i only use fast travel when headed home for the night after the end of a play session) also..you know you can press 'E' and turn the lights on the wheels on/off, right?

The tuned version of Jackie's Arch does actually have a few improvements, though they are very minor. If you scan it you can see the horsepower is increased to 185 from the standard Nazare's 170. The top speed is the same but you seem to get there a tiny bit faster. ARCH Itsumade (to pronounce it, just cut it in these it-su-ma-de), Itsumade is a demon bird in japanese folklore that roams around during the night while screeching eerily.

Fuel should deplete during free roam and paused during quests. Thats the best way to incoporate it into any game. In order to refuel playrs should park directly next to a fuel pump or click on the nozzle to wield and use on their vehicle.

I spent far more time riding around Night City than I do driving. And I used to have a BMW 750 GS, and the Brennan Apollo reminded me so much of it. From what I can see and experience riding it, the developers seemed to have modelled it from the 1200 GS version and I swear the first time I got the Apollo, it sounded EXACTLY the same. Most of my riding time is spent on that, heh. Allow me to share with how I would rank the bikes in Night City: 1. Apollo (It reminds so much of my old bike before I sold it off cause adulting is expensive) 2. Scorpion's Apollo (Again, memories cause on weekends or city rides I would actually take off all the carry boxes) 3. Kusanagi CT-3X (Just for the looks and the homage to Akira's bike, and to the Ghost In The Shell's character, Major Kusanagi. Also if you notice, when you mount or dismount, the bike's handle will actually extends or retract. Nice sci-fi feel) 4. Jackie's (Tuned) Arch (Arch bikes sounds grunty, amazing. Looks much more refined than the Nazare Racer) 5. ARCH Nazare racer (It's a nice bike, but a bit too loud in terms of looks for my taste which is ironic as being in Night City, the louder you are, the better(?)) 6. ARCH Itsumade (the visuals are too much for my liking. Again, it sounds great but it's a bit much) One last thing, I wish CDPR would add some kind of replayable minigame, like the fight clubs, and the illegal street racing, not just for cars, but bikes as well. Make it part of the quest, yes, but after completing it, make it accessible as a minigame or replayable minigame.

I've always go for RP when it comes to bikes. Streetkid only used Jackie's and my Nomad is using Scorpions. I do wish there were more bikes. a little dirt bike would be fun. And paintjobs rather than whole new purchases simply for a diff aesthetic would have been welcome

Loved the Kusanagi until I discovered the mission to get the Itsumade. My rational mind tells me there's really no difference in handling, etc. but I swear that bike fits V like a glove in my playthroughs.

I literally spent hours just looping around the city's freeways in the black caliburn at max speed just for the fun of it. Nowhere to go, nothing to do, just the (mostly) open road and gorgeous visuals to take in.

Funny part is, you can also instead take the other bike "Shoot & Ride" during the mission to rescue Scorpion and Mitch.

Hey, if your vehicle is stuck for some reason, just run for a distance on foot then call for your vehicle again. It will be summoned to you without any more issues.

The mask on the last bike is actually an oni mask. An evil spirit in japanese culture. There's a lot of symbolism on some of these bikes, which makes them fucking awesome lol. Also....you should try the coyote. Easily my favorite car in Cyberpunk for driving in the city and desert. It sticks to the road really well and is reeeeeeally fast lol. Definitely feels like a suped up nomad vehicle.

The Apollo is a good tool for the badlands. Offroad I got it to run even faster than the Shion Coyote. If you don't go for the Itsumade, the Racer is pretty much the best traveling tool you can have, for both city and road.

My favorite motorbike in CP2077? The ones I ride out of random alleys on, having defeated their prior owners. I feel no shame at all in driving those like they're stolen, they cost nothing, and they're usually close by, in my experience. The Itsumade motorcycle has the Japanese demon imagery, because the Itsumade is a fictional yokai, or demon of the 14th century. The name is pronounced ITSU-mah-day. In contermporary Japanese, it translates as "Until when?"

The Arch Nazare (yellow) is the ONLY Vehicle I use in the game. I have a KZbin video of a night ride from Night City to Dogtown on the Arch, while listening to Impulse on 99.9 - The real Arch Motocycle has the best engine sound, and the game version comes pretty close.

My favorite is the one you put at number 1, and you don't even have to do the quest. I just ride around doing the police events, psychos, and gigs. I love this game, even if it is sh1t on my ps4.

I use the Scorpions bike because Aldecados are the family where my nomad V would like to stay with. Sadly, you cannot join to any faction in the game so I "virtually" consider myself an Aldecado member.

I got Jackie's tuned bike by 'accident', as I'm on my first playthrough and didn't spoil anything for myself.. I was a little sad whenever I bought another vehicle since then, because none of them feel as good to drive around. I kinda hope they do a DLC one day with more vehicles, and customization for them!

I spent most of my driving time on the baseline Apollo. It's plenty fast for the city, handles great off-road, and I didn't feel bad about crashing it, unlike Jackie's ARCH.

So I don’t know if this lock you out of the quest or if it’s a netrunner exclusive thing, but you can get the Tiger Claw bike before the heist. Just hack to deactivate the door an it’s yours. Was running out of kabuki after offing Buck for his ripper/scab shop, decided to try it out🤣

The Kusanagi hugs the corners well, but needs more torque. The deceleration going up an incline is frustrating. The Arch has control issues, but the speed, pick up and Valentino aesthetic make up for that. I'll take the Arch all day.

I am using jackies arch for now, as a tribute to my hombre, but will look into the other ones aswell. For cars, murkmobile or nothing i hate cars in this game but owning that one is a basic need.
