Next they ritual dance,eat sleep, than eat,sleep and have babies 🤤.. As far as the bichirs are concerned think 💬🤔 you might need to get them smaller bits of food, like cricket 🦗 legs, or mealworms or blood warms. Until the bichirs are big enough to eat solid food like "crab,shrimp, oyster, tilapia etc.. you might have a picky eater on your hands.. Other than that kudos and keep us posted fam

Go get some wire mesh. Holes in mesh that fit fish size-to not jump out. Cut it to tank top size with enough to lay over sides. Fold corner. And there ya go. Cheap lids

Y don’t you just strip the fry off the female cichlids that are packing.. you can do it early and put the eggs in an egg popper or wait until day 12 and they will be mostly fry with an egg sack in the middle but they will live fine.. it’s lots easier in the females not to have to pack and starve for so long.. plus with multiple females spitting babies in the same tank they get so hungry odds are they will eat the babies before you get them out

*BigStank7420* you bring up a valid thing and 👉🏼 point: they will swallow their fry or destroy them if they feel threatened: *Rob's aquatics* there are recent videos of Fish Hatchery's showing their customers or clients how to safely remove fry from the mouths of the mothers without stressing her out too much..
